“Ariana was excellent! She was very knowledgeable, professional, and clearly experienced. Communication was great throughout the entire booking, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. She also provided helpful updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear my pet was in good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Lorrin was amazing. She was a great communicator and always asked questions if she didn’t know something or needed to adjust the times. She treated our Amir like our own and was a huge help while we are gone. She relieved so much stress and worry as we traveled and left him at home. I was able to enjoy our vacation with out worry because I knew he was in good hands. The initial meeting was great and she has a super flexible schedule. She followed every instruction that this worried mama had and she assured me that he was going to be well taken care of. 10/10!!!”

“Tammy came by to feed the cats and change their litter boxes while we were away. She was great with the cats, and very respectful of our home while we were away. She did a great job! We would not hesitate to hire her again.”

About: I was born and raised with St Bernard’s, Irish Setters and miniature poodles as well mutts, ducks, cats, birds etc. I have continued to have pets in my life through my adulthood. The last of my pack of 5 has now past away. I love dogs so much I volunteer in the pet community and have a non profit to help educate, maintain and build off leash dog parks. Responsible pet ownership is very important to me. As someone who had a pack of 5, all sizes, breds and ages and health, understand the need to have someone you trust care for your pet, at least as good as you would!! Rescue, special needs and seniors have a special place in my heart ❤️🐾 I look forward to meeting you and your fur family!! I have a flexible schedule working remotely from my home. I usually know what I have to be in front of the computer for at least a week in advance and work around where I need to be and when. Because I work remotely I am able to stay with your pet. Let’s set up a meet and greet to get to know each other before you need my services. Your fur family is a priority. I love to share time with your family. If they want to play, or snuggle or just know someone is there. I am flexible. I work remotely the majority of the time giving me the opportunity to be with your pets the majority of the time. I also limit the amount of other families I care for at one time, so I can give more of my attention to your family. I follow your rules, or example allowing them or not on furniture, specific snacks, or okay time routines. If you allow I’d love to snuggle with them through the night in bed with me.

“Leslie went far beyond what I needed. I was so grateful for ability to adjust according to my needs for my little cat. She’s a keeper!! Thank you Leslie for being so understanding and working with me!!! God bless you!”

“Enjoyed getting pictures and updates every day while we were out of town. June took lots of notes during our meet and greet and took great care in knowing our 3 kitties all have much different personalities. I was at ease our entire trip knowing June was dropping in to feed them and give them a little play time each day. We will definitely be using them for our future trips!”

Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life. My husband and I have a busy household with our two dogs and three cats, so my days naturally start and end with pet care—from structured feedings and playtime with Vader and Jasper, to managing our cats' indoor and outdoor routines. My weekly work schedule runs Monday through Thursday, which leaves my Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays completely wide open and highly flexible. These weekend days are perfect for me to focus on longer dog walks, multiple drop-in visits, or dedicated overnight house sitting. On my workdays, I am still available for evening check-ins during the week, fitting seamlessly around my routine. About: I have experience caring for both Huskies and Golden Retrievers, which has given me insight into different energy levels, personalities, and training styles. Huskies require structure and exercise, while Golden Retrievers are eager to please and highly social. Currently, I am raising a 9-week-old Golden Retriever, focusing on early training, socialization, and building healthy daily routines. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine and something I prioritize. Each day includes feeding, walks, playtime, and basic training, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever who requires frequent attention and structure. I also make time for grooming, cleaning, and monitoring their health and behavior. Overall, caring for my pets is naturally built into my schedule and balanced alongside my other responsibilities. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, clean, and structured environment where their needs are consistently met. This includes feeding them on a regular schedule, ensuring they always have fresh water, and giving them daily exercise and playtime. I focus on training and positive reinforcement, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever, to build good habits early. I also maintain grooming, keep their living areas clean, and monitor their health and behavior closely to make sure they are happy and well cared for. I have a fenced in back yard for free roam play.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
