Tammy came by to feed the cats and change their litter boxes while we were away. She was great with the cats, and very respectful of our home while we were away. She did a great job! We would not hesitate to hire her again.

Lorrin was amazing. She was a great communicator and always asked questions if she didn’t know something or needed to adjust the times. She treated our Amir like our own and was a huge help while we are gone. She relieved so much stress and worry as we traveled and left him at home. I was able to enjoy our vacation with out worry because I knew he was in good hands. The initial meeting was great and she has a super flexible schedule. She followed every instruction that this worried mama had and she assured me that he was going to be well taken care of. 10/10!!!

About: For over nine years, I’ve provided consistent, thoughtful dog sitting, daily dog walking, and drop-in care for families who search for reliability and clear communication. Experience has taught me that pets thrive on routine, patience, and steady energy — and that’s exactly what I bring to every visit. My clients trust me to be dependable, attentive, and respectful of their time, home, and pets. I specialize in structured daily walks, recurring drop-ins for busy professionals, and long-term pet sitting support, creating stability and peace of mind, for both pets and owners. What You Can Expect: • Consistent, scheduled walk times • Secure leash handling and safe route awareness • Midday potty breaks and enrichment • Medication administration if needed • Photo updates + detailed Rover cards after every visit • Behavior observations (energy, appetite, stress signals Pet care is a daily part of my life, and I do my best to be fully available when needed. All pets in my care are treated with love and respect, matching their pace and needs to create a stress free and happy environment. I do my best to fulfill both pet and parent needs as far as scheduling is concerned. I’m especially experienced with rescue dogs and seniors. I understand how to read body language and adjust energy accordingly, creating a calm and reassuring experience for your pet. Safety is my top priority. I double-check doors, leashes, gates, and any instructions every visit. If I ever have a question, I communicate immediately — I don’t make assumptions when it comes to your pet. I also reinforce basic commands during walks if desired, helping maintain structure and good leash habits. When you're looking for a reliable weekday walker or recurring drop-in sitter, who takes scheduling seriously and values long-term consistency, I’d love to connect

June was fabulous with my Loki. He’s anxious and doesn’t do very well when he’s separated for us. This is my first time using Rover, as I’ve always boarded at his vets office, where he refuses to eat. I thought he might do better at home. June was patient with him every day and he warmed up to her. I couldn’t be happier with June and trust her with Loki completely.

About: I have cared for different kinds of animals since I was very young.I helped out family and friends as needed.I currently, have an adorable pug named Vader,A corn snake, and a cat named Coco which also provides me with current hands on experience. I'm currently a stay at home wife with nothing but time to dedicate to your loving pets.I grew up on a farm with many animals from goats to pigeons so I have plenty of experience and will handle your loved one as if they were my own fur baby. I will treat your home with respect and your pet will be looked after with gentle care. I will feed and water your fur baby but most importantly treat them with the care I'd want my own pets to receive if someone were in my home caring for them. I am even be willing to do other things like bring in the mail, tidy up,get your pet bathed(for an extra fee),run errands ect all of this can be discussed before booking.I know I can provide a great and safe experience for you and your pet and send you picture up dates whenever you'd like.I look forward to hearing from you all soon! Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life. My husband and I have a busy household with our two dogs and three cats, so my days naturally start and end with pet care—from structured feedings and playtime with Vader and Jasper, to managing our cats' indoor and outdoor routines. My weekly work schedule runs Monday through Thursday, which leaves my Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays completely wide open and highly flexible. These weekend days are perfect for me to focus on longer dog walks, multiple drop-in visits, or dedicated overnight house sitting. On my workdays, I am still available for evening check-ins during the week, fitting seamlessly around my routine. In your home: I am happy to care for and watch pets of any size in the comfort of their own familiar environment. In my home: I have a huge yard, though I mainly have the space to host smaller dogs inside my home, where they can enjoy a secure, smaller fenced-in area.

About: I have experience caring for both Huskies and Golden Retrievers, which has given me insight into different energy levels, personalities, and training styles. Huskies require structure and exercise, while Golden Retrievers are eager to please and highly social. Currently, I am raising a 9-week-old Golden Retriever, focusing on early training, socialization, and building healthy daily routines. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine and something I prioritize. Each day includes feeding, walks, playtime, and basic training, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever who requires frequent attention and structure. I also make time for grooming, cleaning, and monitoring their health and behavior. Overall, caring for my pets is naturally built into my schedule and balanced alongside my other responsibilities. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, clean, and structured environment where their needs are consistently met. This includes feeding them on a regular schedule, ensuring they always have fresh water, and giving them daily exercise and playtime. I focus on training and positive reinforcement, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever, to build good habits early. I also maintain grooming, keep their living areas clean, and monitor their health and behavior closely to make sure they are happy and well cared for. I have a fenced in back yard for free roam play.

About: I have been around all different kinds of dogs my entire life. My parents were big animal lovers which had been passed on to me. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own. One is a smaller dog and our other 2 are bigger dogs (60-75 lbs). Our cat is a 3 year old cat who is not afraid of anything. He loves to play with our dogs like he is one of them! I have a heart for animals and love getting to spoil and play with all the dogs/ cats that I have the chance to meet. I currently am staying at home with my daughter! I was a teacher but now am staying at home full time. Whatever you need I am able to fit your animals schedule into my day! I am able to follow any schedule and rules that are needed to be followed. It is so important to know that your dog is in good hands and taken care of when you are away and I want to be sure that every client knows I will do that for them. I will be sure to love on, play and make sure the dogs needs are met and each client can have an eased mind when they are away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 575 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Oakridge. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Oakridge stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oakridge. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
