About: As a pet owner and a certified Veterinary Assistant with hands-on experience working at a veterinary clinic, I bring a unique level of care and expertise to every pet I sit for. From administering medication to understanding animal behavior, I’m equipped to handle everything from routine care to special needs pets! I am a student-athlete at Austin Peay State University playing lacrosse! I am typically available all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Tuesdays, I am available after 10 a.m. until 3. Thursdays, I am available anytime after 10 am, and on Fridays, I am available anytime after 12:30. I will communicate with my clients based on my schedule and thier schedule to make something work! When caring for your pets, I make sure to follow your pets routine as closely as possible to help them feel at ease! About: I grew up surrounded by animals. At one point, my family had 25 dogs! These days, I share my home with two incredible dogs: Porkchop, a sweet and loving companion, and Applesauce, my energetic sidekick. In Tennessee I work from home and able to spend my time caring for your pup. In my professional life (when I travel to California), I’m a studio teacher, working with kids on television and movie sets, though I previously taught kindergarten and third grade. I absolutely adore animals and dream of starting my own rescue one day. Until then, I enjoy offering a safe and loving space for pets through dog sitting, especially during breaks between my show seasons. Your furry family members will be treated like my own! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work from home with a flexible schedule. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions, maintain the pet’s routine, and ensure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. About: What truly sets me apart is not just my love for dogs, but the hands-on experience I have caring for a wide range of breeds and personalities. I currently have three dogs of my own a sweet 8-year-old Chihuahua-Yorkie mix who is our spoiled little baby, a very energetic Shih Tzu who keeps me on my toes, and a gentle giant of a German Shepherd who’s just a big cuddly lovebug. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it by using leashes and taking pets on regular walks around my neighborhood or to nearby parks. I enjoy being active and love spending time outdoors with the dogs, giving them plenty of exercise and enrichment. My own dogs are very friendly and would love the extra company, which helps create a warm and welcoming environment for any visiting pets. I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for whether they’re staying in my home or I'm visiting them in theirs.

About: My wife and I did pet sitting in Virginia for a little over 3 years before moving to Tennessee. Our pet parents loved us and recommended us highly. We have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us and some even called my wife the dog whisperer because she has a very calming demeanor. We have taken care of dogs from toy poodles to boxers (3 boxers at one time for the weekend). We love to play and snuggle and we will treat them like they are our own. I work nights but my wife is a stay at home grandmother and between us we have plenty of time to give your dog(s) or cat(s) the special time they need and we would love the chance to get to know yours. I am home full time so I have plenty of time to love on your pet(s) except when I have to go to other clients homes to love on theirs. I have a fenced in yard and take them out regularly and I go out with them to make sure they are safe and secure.

We also do have a team of background checked and trusted pet sitters who work for us who help fill in the schedule when we can’t. These sitters are trained, insured and supervised by us. You will get the same Barksville Pet Waggin quality from all of our sitters and you will know, meet and approve in advance of who will be in your home if we are unable to do your sitting. You will know BEFORE you book if we are not available. Anyone booking for a holiday period must pay one month in advance and these reservations are non refundable. Half of the reservation amount can be credited towards a future booking. ** If you are booking an overnight pet sitting we do require an actual bed to sleep in. An air mattress in the living room or couch surfing is not going to work for us. If you want older more reliable people you get older bad backs that require a real bed. If you would like care in our home we could take small dogs there. We have a fenced yard and one small dog of our own. Diana’s mom is home full time so pups would have supervision all day.

I am able to read body language, groom and care for dogs, and also bond with any dog regardless of temperaments! I care for a high energy dog of my own so my daily routine includes making sure my dog has plenty of exercise each day, while also making sure she has the right amount of rest. I always make sure to bond with a dog and make sure their comfort comes before mine! I never want a dog to feel scared or uncomfortable around me or my other animals.
