About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.
“I left my older german shepherd Apollo with Roy for a week and it was a great experience! He gave me updates, gave him his medicine as instructed and took great care of him. If I needed a dog sitter again he would be my first choice!”

About: Hello, my name is Angelika. I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was a child, I've helped care for family pets and have years of hands-on experience walking, feeding, playing with, and giving love to dogs. neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their furry companions, knowing I treat each one with kindness, patience, and attention. I enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure every pup feels safe and happy. I currently have plenty of time and would love to dedicate it to caring for your dog just like it was my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time, which allows me to fully dedicate myself to caring for dogs. I'm available now almost every day, and I truly enjoy spending quality time walking, playing, and bonding with pups. Whether it's morning walks or evening playtime, I'm here to help! I live in a pet - friendly house with a fenced backyard, and I love taking dogs on peaceful walks around the nearby neighborhood parks. There's also a park close by where we can enjoy time outdoors together. I always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for, whether we're relaxing inside or exploring the outdoors. I'm happy to follow any specific care instructions if your dog needs.
“Ashleigh was very professional, sent me updates every day. She made my puppy feel welcomed and he was happy when I picked him up. She adjusted quickly when I had to extend my reservation without hesitation. I didn't have to worry while I was on vacation, I definitely recommend her to anyone!!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Daphne! As a military wife, I understand that life can bring some unexpected, last minute schedule changes. So if there’s a weekend where you have to be away, I’d be more than happy to help watch over your fur baby! As a fitness instructor who values keeping an active lifestyle, I dedicate my weekends to the dogs by taking them out on neighborhood walks, trails, or play dates to the dog parks — so if you need weekend care, look no further! Both of my dogs, Presley and Winston, play well with other dogs but can still be old souls who lay around and sleep all day too. While my husband is deployed until 2027, I want to continue helping out dogs in our community. A bit about our fam: We have a passion for animal rescue and welfare. We’ve fostered, volunteered, and have been active in our animal shelter. I have background handling both small and big dogs, dogs with high energy, and defeated dogs who have had overall rough lives. If we see any dog in need, no matter if it’s at 11pm, in the rain, or running through the roads, we will without hesitation, stop to help give that dog whatever it is they may need. We have come across many strays and have helped reunite them with their families or have found them forever homes with the help of our local animal shelters. Our dream life is working alongside a local animal rescue back home after military life and continuing to rescue & rehabilitate more dogs in need! If you need those “after hours” drop off/pick up times — don’t hesitate to ask! I am home on weekends all day so I am flexible with your schedule. My camera roll is filled with pics of my own dogs so you can expect constant photos, videos, and updates on your baby throughout their time here! What you can expect: I usually keep dogs in their individual crate overnight as well as separating them at feeding times. This is for their safety as I wouldn’t want anything harmful happening to them overnight when I am not watching! They may behave well in your home but in new environments, I want to take extra precautions. The dogs are not inside for more than 2 hours as I let them outside for potty breaks and outdoor playtime often, with weather conditions kept in mind.
“Michelle and her husband take such good care of our dog! He gets so excited when we pull up to their house, as he knows he is going to get all sorts of attention and ball playing time while he is there. He is so comfortable and content to overnight there, and they are great about sending pictures while he is with them. They are fantastic people and make it so easy to board our dog with them when we are out of town!”

“Bree was wonderful with my pup. She is attentive to care instructions, wonderful about flexible scheduling, quick to respond to texts, and sends pictures!! My dog is slow to warm up with new places/people/dogs, and I’m so grateful Bree was patient with her and let her warm up in her own time until she was comfortable and playing!! Definitely glad I found Bree to take care of my fur-baby!!!”

“I needed a dog sitter last minute. Thank goodness she was available. She treated my dog like he was her own. She kept me well updated with pics of him like she said she would. I have no complaints. In the future if I need her again this is who I will be reaching out to. I recommend Kelcey to anyone who needs a dog sitter.”

“Catherine was amazing with our puppy Blaze! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. She gave us regular updates, photos, and little notes about how he was doing without us even having to ask! It meant so much to see that she was genuinely attentive and thoughtful throughout his stay. Blaze came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved. We would absolutely book with Catherine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter. Thank you so much! 🐾”

“Giovanna is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. She took wonderful care of my dog, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. My dog is very anxious, doesn’t like being left alone, and needs lots of love, patience, and affection. Giovanna gave him all the warmth and care he needed, making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout his stay. She sent me photos and videos every day, and we stayed in touch the whole time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Giovanna to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. She truly loves animals, and you can see that caring for them is her passion ❤️”

“Giovanni was amazing with my cat, T'Challa. She sent updates with photos. I was put at ease when I met her and felt good about her caring for T'Challa. When needed again, I will definitely rebook.”

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life. Starting in 2008, I got a certificate in Veterinary Assistant and worked in a clinic for about 3 years. Taking a break, I joined the Army, serving 3 years active duty, then dropping down to the Reserves, where I currently continue to serve totaling about 14 1/2 years so far. My husband is active duty Army as well. At our last duty station I started my degree for Veterinary Technician, which I continue to complete and also worked at Banfield for 2 1/2 years. I take my dog on walks almost daily. I currently am a stay at home mom, also an Army Reservist. Lots of time currently. I do plan on looking for a part time job in a veterinary clinic in the fall. I have one dog who is 9 and we have a good size backyard. My dog is currently kennel trained for when we are not home so I’m okay with kenneling your pet if needed.
“Jennifer did a great job keeping us informed and sending us pictures while she was watching our baby! She was even kind enough to meet ahead of time for a meet and greet. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Our Maple had such a wonderful time with this family and their sweet pup. Our family was able to have a fun weekend without worry because Megan and her family took such good care of our furbaby!”

“Trin was great with Andy. She showed great compassion for him being that Andy was an abused dog from a puppy mill. Trin was so gentle and kind to Andy that he jumped out of car to run back upstairs to her apartment door. I would recommend Trin and will definitely use her again!!”

About: I’ve been the owner of 5 dogs and 5 cats so I have experienced every possible situation with them since walking, feeding, bathing, playing… I also do know how to take care of puppies or newborn dogs and cats. I can cook for them any specific food they are required to eat. I’m fully available to take care of your loved one whenever I’m currently only working with Rover so I’m fully committed of taking good care of your pet. My attention and my energy is all for them. At my house your dog and cat will be playing and receiving lots of love from me. I have a fenced yard so I can play with your doggy freely and my house is big enough for cats to feel comfortable around!
About: I have 4 dogs of my own, I also grew up raising dogs as well (6). I love to take my dogs to the dog park, go on walks, give treats and toys. I love to provide new unused toys for dogs in my care to play with at dog parks and playing around the home or yard also. I like to keep the yard cleaned up from dog poop and do anything helpful as asked. I currently work a few days a week but have pretty much open availability all around. Monday through Friday mostly. I can also work weekends though. I have a fenced yard. We have a bedroom for our own dogs as well. They stay in there if we have other dogs and their owner prefers not to have unknown dogs around theirs. I switch the dogs via leash for all dogs in the home. They are never left unattended in any form regardless of length of their time being watched unless its only a stop in watch.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
