“Tabitha is an incredible sitter and companion for my dog Scout. I can see the care and detail she takes in playing with him and making him feel important. I travel a lot for work and it’s just me so it’s always stressful knowing I have to leave my dog behind. But I’m always assured he’s in great hands with Tabitha. Thank you for all that you do. It truly matters.”

“Carly was great! She helped me these past two days with walk my big man ghost, he is a English bulldog and she made sure to pay attention to his breathing and made sure to walk him only what he could handle. I definitely recommend her and will be reaching out in the future!”

“Heather is great! She is extremely responsive and communicative, but more importantly Billy is obsessed with her. Heather is always on time and is Billy’s favorite part of the day.”

About: I love pets of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I accept all personalities coming from an owner of a very mischievous husky and a reactive senior pup. I have several years of dog walking and sitting in DC as well as working at veterinarian offices. I am also currently enrolled in nursing school so am no stranger to any medically necessary situations. I will always ensure to treat your pet like my own and make sure they grown to love me like their own! I currently work nights part time at UMMC as well as am enrolled full time in nursing school. Though that might sound like my schedule I’m jammed pack, I have plenty of breaks in between for your beloved pups! I also enjoy quality time outside and would love to have a fur friend to join me. I currently do not do pet sitting in home or out as I have a 3 year old toddler I simply cannot spend time away from and my senior pup is unfortunately dog reactive.

“Sarah is very sweet and caring. She makes me feel like she cares about my dog. In the past I had a walker that actually didn't walk my dog based on my camera; just there for the money, however Sarah actually cares; she goes over her mins to finish her walk and doesn't ask for anything in return that makes me feel absolutely worry free that I picked her as my walker.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl, having cats since a toddler. When my sister got her first dog, I watched after her a lot since I was studying from home and she was a puppy who we knew needed more often potty breaks and care. When she got her next 2 puppies, I also watched after them while they were little ones. I have cared for dogs who take medication and dogs who need a little more TLC. Ultimately, I have experience with dogs and cats and love both so much. My best friend is a vet and her husband an emergency vet (sadly they're in Georgia), but its comforting knowing I have them in my pocket for any emergencies. I currently work M-F but am off on the weekends. I have finished my board exams and awaiting the beginning of residency, so I am looking for something to do on the weekends I enjoy, and what better way to do that than caring for adorable animals! I care for animals in their own home. I’m very respectful of other’s belongings and find that animals tend to do better when they are in their normal surroundings.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 15 years, when I got a puppy for my kids. A few years later we adopted another dog as a companion. Our dogs are part of our family. I have experience from puppy through senior pup, which includes giving medications. I’ve also worked as a Veterinary Technician and volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter. Both were rewarding experiences which provided me additional practice with sick pet care and leash walking. I am available most days and evenings. I’m available to travel to make home visits, and can walk your pet in your neighborhood or take them to a local dog park or other type of recreation area. We have a gated deck and fenced in area for our dogs. We have one small senior dog who gets along well with both dogs and cats.

“Jaeda arrived on time for both the meet and greet and dog walk. She’s personable and took the time to get to know my pup a little better. She asked good questions about her habits and temperament. She was respectful of my home and pup!”
