About: I have two small dogs of my own. One is 15 years old and the other is 6. I have experience walking larger dogs at various shelters. I also have experience with strong dogs who pull on the leash and frequently stop for breaks on walks. I can carry heavy objects (or dogs) over 50 pounds if needed. I am currently creating stock for my Etsy shop, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have a lot of availability because of this, so I am open to help out with anything any day of the week. I will treat your pet with the respect they deserve, and will not do anything to them that I would not want done to my dogs.

About: Caring for my dog over the years has taught me not just the basics of pet care, but how important it is to truly understand the needs of every pet. Whether it’s helping a playful puppy learn good behavior or offering gentle support to senior pets, I’m dedicated to ensuring they’re comfortable, happy, and safe. I pride myself on going beyond the basics, so your pet feels like part of the family while you’re away. I’m available to care for your pet during evenings on weekdays and throughout the weekend. Whether it’s a stroll in the park, playtime, or simply relaxing together, I make sure your pet feels loved and well-looked-after during my available hours. In my home, pets are treated like family. I provide a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. There’s plenty of space for them to explore. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make sure to maintain their routine, whether it’s feeding, walks, or playtime, to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. I’m dedicated to meeting their specific needs and making sure they’re always happy and safe.

About: I owned a small dog and a fairly large one (a Rough Collie). I love animals. I want to do dog walking and sitting as my main job. I'm 5'10 and 210 lbs. I'm great with small and medium dogs. I'll take out a large dog who is leash-trained. On rare occasions, I take out extra-large dogs. Pet care will be my main priority. My other work is very flexible. I usually work from home or a cafe. For dog walking, I typically play with dogs. I'm patient, so we can take our time - even if that means sniffing every tree. I usually do dog sitting in the client's home and or yard. Occasionally, I board a small or medium-sized dog in my home. I have a small backyard/patio, which is shown in one of my photos.

About: I am and always have been an animal lover. I am 45 years old and have always had a dog that I have been lucky enough to take care of throughout my entire life. I truly believe that animals make humans better people and that we can continually learn so much from them. I currently work part time as a piano teacher, and so pet care offers me flexibility as well as gives me the opportunity to take care of animals-something that is dear to my heart. I offer treats and allow my furry friends the freedom to explore my house as they please. They are more than welcome to hop up on my couch or bed if they like. And, if they have a favorite bed they like to use and bring along, they are more than welcome to do that too. Whatever makes them feel most comfortable.

Megan D.
“My cats love Megan! She is a spectacular cat sitter. She is SO attentive to them. She's very creative and makes up the funniest games. My cats are a year old, so still kittens. One is friendly and the other one is timid. She tends to hide from strangers, even my Mom. By the second time Megan came to sit for me, my shy cat was out from under the bed to greet her! They both like to be where "Auntie Megan (Midge)" is. The real proof of her cat watching talents is when I get home from a week long trip. In the past my Mom would come over twice a day to feed them and play with the fishing poles. Before using Megan, when I would arrive home, my cats were almost unhinged. They would be all over me and at bedtime try to sleep on my face. It would take a couple of days for them to relax again. Now that I have Megan sleep over, the cats are SO RELAXED & CHILL. It's 180 degree difference. They sleep with Megan...a true test, and cuddle with her. The difference in their contentment is really obvious. More than my cats liking her, I can tell she really enjoys hanging out with them. She does some remote work while there, but my fur babies were her priority. When they walk over her laptop keyboard, she doesn't mind. They are playful adolescents. She even brought them some new mouse toys. Also, she's more into tech than I am. She introduced them to Cat TV and cat iPad games. I liked the daily photos she sent. Megan offers a very high end and loving experience for your cats. I highly recommend.”

Katie T.
“Katie is the youngest of our 4 children. We’ve often referred to her as our Golden Retriever because she’s been the sweet, easy-going person you could always count on. She grew up with dogs - sometimes two at a time. Katie’s an animal magnet. She would be a fantastic dog walker and an extremely conscientious dog sitter.”
Northfield cat parents share their Rover experiences
Thanks to Rosy for taking great care of our two young kitties while we were away! She was very responsive and sent lots of photos and updates that we really appreciate. The fact that our very shy boy Miko let her approach and pet him on just the 2nd day says a lot. We will be happy to entrust Rosy to care for our pets any time in the future!

Anna took care of our cat, Jovie, for 10 days while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, her communication was excellent-she reached out before we booked to come over for a meet and greet where she asked thoughtful questions and made sure she fully understood Jovie’s needs. During our time away, Anna kept us updated regularly through Rover and text, which gave us a real peace of mind. Jovie was unsure of Anna at first (she can be shy with new people), but Anna was so patient and caring. She took the time to build her trust, play with her, and make sure she felt safe and cared for. We were so grateful for the attention and effort Anna put in! We can’t recommend her enough!

Zikra took care of our two cats for a last minute weekend away and was so wonderful to them. She was prompt and communicative with me throughout the weekend and it was clear through the photos that our guys warmed to her quickly. She gave them treats and attention and played with them a bit to get some energy out. We are very grateful she was available!! Thank you!
