“My cat, Tofu, loved Emily! She did a great job taking care of my cat while we were away and made me feel much more comfortable being away for almost a week. Thank you Emily!”

“Zikra took care of our two cats for a last minute weekend away and was so wonderful to them. She was prompt and communicative with me throughout the weekend and it was clear through the photos that our guys warmed to her quickly. She gave them treats and attention and played with them a bit to get some energy out. We are very grateful she was available!! Thank you!”

“Andrew was the best cat sitter! We’re always a little nervous going out of town leaving our elderly cat at home. Andrew is a great communicator, and we felt our cat was in good hands. We would not hesitate to rebook with Andrew the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Leah was prompt with her check in and check out times and continually sent us pictures from each visit and an update as to what she did. On her initial visit to meet our 2 cats, one of our cats was a little moody that day and wasn't interested in meeting Leah. But by the second day Leah told us that that particular cat was her new "bestie". The cats were well cared for and everything was done that was noted to be done.”

“Rosy is a fantastic cat sitter. It’s hard for me to leave my 3 cats since I can’t reassure them that I’ll be back, so I feel lucky to have found someone who seems to truly adore them and puts so much effort into making them comfortable, even to the point where my scaredy cat, who’s terrified of all guests, is willing to come out and play. I appreciate Rosy’s attentive care so much!”

“Ella did a great job feeding, playing with, and hanging out with my cat. She also cleaned the kitty litter which was wonderful. She sent daily photos of everything which was great too. Thanks Ella.”

“Donna took great care of our kitty while we were away and even helped clean up a few of her messes on our bed. Photos and updates every day were great!”

“Paige was fantastic with our pets!! She was able to give our cat medication with ease and was very patient with one of cats who is very shy. She is thorough and communicative, answers messages very timely. I would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals. I have taken care of not only my own but other peoples pets for many years now. I have worked in the veterinary medical field for the last 8 years and have experience in pet first aid and trauma response. I have just finished clinical rotations and currently have a pretty flexible schedule and am available 7 days a week to help take care of your pet. I am comfortable working with any breed or size pet. I have plenty of experience with basic pet care and medication administration. I will provide plenty of updates on how your pet is doing, and will treat them as I would my own pets.

“Michele was a wonderful, tentative, and flexible caretaker for my pet. She was easy to communicate with and very accommodating of my constraints, i felt safe leaving my cat in her care and will 100% rebook next time i go out of town!”

“First time we’ve used a house sitter to care for our pets. Michelle was wonderful. She came to meet us before our scheduled dates, and we felt lucky to be working with such a wonderful young woman. She asked all the right questions. She was prompt and sent us regular photos of our kitties and our home.”

“Stephen was excellent and communicated and sent photos and updates! Our cat was so well cared for. Highly recommend!”

About: I owned a small dog and a fairly large one (a Rough Collie). I love animals. I want to do dog walking and sitting as my main job. I'm 5'10 and 210 lbs. I'm great with small and medium dogs. I'll take out a large dog who is leash-trained. On rare occasions, I take out extra-large dogs. Pet care will be my main priority. My other work is very flexible. I usually work from home or a cafe. For dog walking, I typically play with dogs. I'm patient, so we can take our time - even if that means sniffing every tree. I usually do dog sitting in the client's home and or yard. Occasionally, I board a small or medium-sized dog in my home. I have a small backyard/patio, which is shown in one of my photos.

“Riley is the best walker/sitter Kito has ever had! She’s so flexible, reliable, really good with elderly dogs with meds, my dog just loves her. Good vibes all around ☀️. Thank you Riley!!”

“Thank you, Andrew!”

“Lauren & Lauren did a great job providing kitty care. The we're great a keeping in touch letting me know how my cat was doing as well as taking several photos”

About: I have two small dogs of my own. One is 15 years old and the other is 6. I have experience walking larger dogs at various shelters. I also have experience with strong dogs who pull on the leash and frequently stop for breaks on walks. I can carry heavy objects (or dogs) over 50 pounds if needed. I am currently creating stock for my Etsy shop, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have a lot of availability because of this, so I am open to help out with anything any day of the week. I will treat your pet with the respect they deserve, and will not do anything to them that I would not want done to my dogs.

About: I am and always have been an animal lover. I am 45 years old and have always had a dog that I have been lucky enough to take care of throughout my entire life. I truly believe that animals make humans better people and that we can continually learn so much from them. I currently work part time as a piano teacher, and so pet care offers me flexibility as well as gives me the opportunity to take care of animals-something that is dear to my heart. I offer treats and allow my furry friends the freedom to explore my house as they please. They are more than welcome to hop up on my couch or bed if they like. And, if they have a favorite bed they like to use and bring along, they are more than welcome to do that too. Whatever makes them feel most comfortable.

About: I am part of a family of 6 which includes 3 daughters and our sweet dog named Willow. We would love to host your furry family member. I have over 13 years of experience with friends and family members who have pets in their home. I have a yard for fun and I love nice walks around the park across the street. We even take rides in the car to explore some more. Your furry family member will become a part of my family as long as they are in my home. I will care for it as directed and go beyond your expectations. Give me a try and you will not be disappointed. I look forward to working with you and your furry friend!

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I have had dogs all my life and currently have a golden retriever. I have plenty of experience caring for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs and cats. I am incredibly responsible, flexible, and will make sure your pets are well cared for! Whether you need a reliable dog walker, cat sitter, or anything in between, I’m on it. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is my genuine enthusiasm toward this job. Being a dog owner myself, I know that you want to ensure your pets are in the best hands, and I can assure you with me they will be! I am willing to walk or watch your pets in the morning, afternoon, or night! Feel free to reach out to see if I am available! I will make sure your pets are taken care of and of course safe, whether that means letting them play in a fenced backyard or walking with them, I’m happy to do whatever you are comfortable with!

Megan D.
“My cats love Megan! She is a spectacular cat sitter. She is SO attentive to them. She's very creative and makes up the funniest games. My cats are a year old, so still kittens. One is friendly and the other one is timid. She tends to hide from strangers, even my Mom. By the second time Megan came to sit for me, my shy cat was out from under the bed to greet her! They both like to be where "Auntie Megan (Midge)" is. The real proof of her cat watching talents is when I get home from a week long trip. In the past my Mom would come over twice a day to feed them and play with the fishing poles. Before using Megan, when I would arrive home, my cats were almost unhinged. They would be all over me and at bedtime try to sleep on my face. It would take a couple of days for them to relax again. Now that I have Megan sleep over, the cats are SO RELAXED & CHILL. It's 180 degree difference. They sleep with Megan...a true test, and cuddle with her. The difference in their contentment is really obvious. More than my cats liking her, I can tell she really enjoys hanging out with them. She does some remote work while there, but my fur babies were her priority. When they walk over her laptop keyboard, she doesn't mind. They are playful adolescents. She even brought them some new mouse toys. Also, she's more into tech than I am. She introduced them to Cat TV and cat iPad games. I liked the daily photos she sent. Megan offers a very high end and loving experience for your cats. I highly recommend.”

Northfield cat parents share their Rover experiences
The very very best. No detail left unnoticed. I return to super-happy cats and dog, perfectly cared for by Donna and Stephen. It’s a dream working with Donna. Thank you!

Anna took care of our cat, Jovie, for 10 days while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, her communication was excellent-she reached out before we booked to come over for a meet and greet where she asked thoughtful questions and made sure she fully understood Jovie’s needs. During our time away, Anna kept us updated regularly through Rover and text, which gave us a real peace of mind. Jovie was unsure of Anna at first (she can be shy with new people), but Anna was so patient and caring. She took the time to build her trust, play with her, and make sure she felt safe and cared for. We were so grateful for the attention and effort Anna put in! We can’t recommend her enough!

Meggan is amazing! She takes such great care of our cat Salty! When we come home Salty is happy and you can tell she was well taken care of. I know when we travel I never have to worry because she does such a great job!!

Phoenix was wonderful! One of my cats managed to get on top of the fridge and steal a white chocolate bar, and Phoenix even stayed a little later to monitor them and make sure they weren't sick. Thank you!
