“Elvia is amazing! All I could say is wow after getting home and reading handwritten report cards for all three dogs and my cat individually. She has great attention to detail, care, and professionalism and is adaptable under tight time frame. She sent me pictures every day and spent time to get to know each of my animals so kindly and professionally. Very impressed 100/10!!!”

“Heather took great care of our pup! She was very responsive, provided frequent and detailed updates, and was incredibly patient with Zozo who can be shy at first. She also left our apartment spotless. We will definitely use her for future dog sitting.”

“Have had Nicole housesit twice with us. Each time she is prompt, extremely communicable, and able to navigate not only complicated instructions for each of our two dogs, but also how complicated our house is with codes, alarms and construction workers. She looked after my middle-aged slow Bichon who needs constant food and attention and our new rescue dog who is 10lbs of energy and desperate to escape. She handled them both with grace and sent lots of pictures and videos. I am happy to know I don't have to worry now when I travel!”

“I adopted Winston in December, so this was my first time going away while having a pup. Alison loved on Winston, making both him and me feel comfortable and confident that everything would be okay! He’s a quirky pup, and she made sure he had a blast and was well cared for. When he had a small issue with his food, she let me know right away, and we quickly figured it out together and after that, everything was fine. I so appreciated her caring nature and patience and felt incredibly lucky knowing he was happy and loved while I relaxed on my family vacation. I’m thrilled that Winston will get to spend time with Alison again during my first international trip in September!”

“Michelle and our dog, Meeko, are basically besties now!!! Michelle is a great sitter, we never worry when she is watching our dog, she is a great communicator, always cheerful and so trustworthy! Michelle is the best!”

“Frank was very communicative with me and attentive with our shy pup. This was our first time with Frank sitting for the day and I was completely at ease and will definitely be booking him again in the future!”

“Alyssa is absolutely wonderful with my pup Miley. She's watched her a few times and she always works around my schedule which is so appreciated! I receive picture updates and know she's in great hands with Alyssa. Thank you!”

“This our first time leaving our puppy for this long & Jess made it so much easier! The daily updates and pictures made us so happy! Will defiantly be hiring her again!”

“Maria made me feel so comfortable leaving my fur babies home during vacation. I could tell quickly they were doing great and probably had a little vacation of their own while I was out of town!”

“Wendy did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs - and my home - while we were gone for two weeks. She followed instructions about their different dietary needs, and took them to local parks for longer walks. Both dogs can be a bit anxious, but they got so much love and attention from Wendy and were calm and happy when we got home. I would highly recommend Wendy and will certainly use her again!”

“Amazing! Can’t thank you enough- above and beyond my expectations! Justin has a very high Anxiety level without treating any Medication, An escape artist and very Suspicious.. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 and I love it. Having 2 dogs of my own I know what it’s like to find quality pet care so I like to provide families with the relief of knowing their four-legged baby is being well taken care of! Through my experiences, I’ve learned how to be attentive to dogs cries, whines, whimpers, etc. and body language which helps me make sure they get what they need. I’m currently a college student and am home for the summer. I work at the grocery store 3 days a week so during those hours I wouldn’t be at the house but other than that I will be there! I can’t leave during work but as my hours are short, it has not interfered with my ability to tend to the dogs! I work with each pet parent to make sure I have all the details of the pet’s schedule. In my home, pets are always viewed as members of our family. I believe that pets require the same love and attention that people do so that’s what I share with my clients as well!

“Amber was great with my dog Mia, who can get a little anxious sometimes! She was super caring and I appreciated all the pictures and updates! Would definitely book with her again!”

“Janine is a great dog sitter with a genuine love of animals. She is kind, thoughtful, and has excellent communication skills. Janine provided timely updates with photos after each visit. I would recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone and have her sit for my dog again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12, looking after puppies, adults, and seniors. I understand their needs based on their energy, age, and personality, whether it’s a gentle walk for older dogs or a sprint with active pups. Friends and neighbors trust me to babysit their dogs while they work or travel, knowing I’ll keep them safe, happy, and loved. I love walking, practicing tricks with dogs in training, and spending quality time with furry friends. Your dog’s safety is my priority—I’m mindful of weather conditions, avoid risks, and always communicate about treats, routes, or special instructions. For me, caring for dogs isn’t just a task; it’s truly a joy. I work from home two days a week and am usually home on weekends. My job is flexible, allowing me to take breaks during the day, which I love using for refreshing walks—especially with a dog by my side. I can also babysit dogs while working from home, as my apartment allows pets. I don’t have roommates, and my husband loves dogs just as much (if not more) than I do, so your pup will get plenty of love and attention in a calm, pet-friendly environment. I currently don’t have dogs of my own, as my pups live with my mom, so I truly miss spending time with furry friends and would love to care for yours. In my apartment, your pet will have enough space to rest and play indoors. I live less than 400 feet from a dog park, and the neighborhood is perfect for dog walking, giving your pup the chance to explore and get fresh air. My husband also works from home, so together we’ll keep a close eye on your furry friend, ensuring they’re happy, safe, and loved. If I’m caring for your pet at your home, I’ll adapt to their routine and the space they’re familiar with. Depending on the length of the stay, I’ll make sure they’re walked, given attention, and engaged in light training or play. For longer periods, I’m happy to work remotely from your location to provide consistent companionship and care.

About: I’m experienced, intuitive, kind, and gentle. I love the hyper, enthusiastic dog as well as the gentle and shy one. I also understand when a dog misses its owner, needs attention or is ill. I have just returned home to Connecticut from Texas and have a lot of open time while we get settled. My schedule is open and flexible for you. I will come to your house to let out, walk, feed or bathe your pup. If you are in Darien, New Canaan, or Norwalk I am a short distance away. I am very safety and health conscious with your pet. Many pets have separation anxiety when an owner leaves and it is important to keep a regular schedule for sweetie.

About: With years of hands-on experience, I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, beginning with a 125-lb St. Bernard that was the ultimate lap dog. My current partner in crime is Jett, a charming rescue mix of Wheaton, Portuguese Water Dog, and a few surprises. Whether your dog calls a spacious home or a cozy apartment their domain, I'm well-versed in providing attentive care. I'm eager to fulfill your pet's unique needs, offering services from medication administration to invigorating walks, fun playdates, safe transportation, and enjoyable outings to the park. Cheers! David I am fortunate to have the flexibility of working from home, which enables me to manage my schedule effectively and avoid any overlap between Rover commitments and work. I have a friendly dog to keep your pup happy. I live in a townhouse in a community with lots of space to have safe walks

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 5 years old. I walked a family friends dog when I was living in New York. I’m very active and love fitness and enjoy walking. I’m very flexible, i’m a morning person. I’m looking for work and can walk dogs during the day and in the afternoon. It would be great opportunity. I grew up with dogs I really cared for them, played with them. A family friend relied on me to walk their dog during the day.

“We have a 10YO Rhodesian mix and a 4 month old Great Dane. From the time we brought our first home, Kaitlin has been playful, loving, attentive and proud. In his later years, when she is home visiting, she is the first to jump in and help with his love and care and meds. In addition, she balances her time and attention between him and our new puppy. And I could not ask for a better partner with our new Dane. Her willingness to jump in and take over the new-parent responsibilities (crate training, feeding, outdoor time, sleep schedule, clean-up, etc.) highlights her love for dogs and a level of responsibility many of her peers haven’t reached yet.”

Amber G.

“Amber was great with my dog Mia, who can get a little anxious sometimes! She was super caring and I appreciated all the pictures and updates! Would definitely book with her again!”

Jessica S.

“Great care of our pets as always! And great communication! We have asked Jessica to look after our pets many times and she has always gone a wonderful job.”

Janine R.

“Janine is a great dog sitter with a genuine love of animals. She is kind, thoughtful, and has excellent communication skills. Janine provided timely updates with photos after each visit. I would recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone and have her sit for my dog again.”

Katia L.
“atia has been an absolute lifesaver when it comes to caring for Puki while I travel for work. Puki has some hip issues and needs extra patience, love, and attention, and Katia provides all of that and more. The longest Puki has stayed with Katia was two weeks, and I couldn’t have been more at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Katia treats Puki like one of her own, ensuring she’s comfortable, happy, and well-cared for. I’m so grateful to have someone as trustworthy and compassionate as Katia to look after Puki. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not only safe but also genuinely loved while I’m away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

Cindy B.
“I've known Cindy for about four or five years while she was in Texas. The dog she had for many years passed away last year and she always said that getting another when the time was right was high up on her list. Cindy is energetic and very well organized. She loves her plants and all animals (even cats). I am certain that any interaction between her and a dog or dogs would be very beneficial for both of them.”

David S.Star Sitter
“David is awesome and has been caring for dogs since he was a kid. We have had 3 dogs of our own and most recently we have an 11 year old beautiful dog Jett—that we adopted when he was 1. David and Jett are inseparable. Our kids are older now and come for visits with their own dogs. It’s wonderful to have all 3 of them together in our home! David enjoys long walks with Jett and we frequently take him to the beach. He is a wonderful calm dog who loves people. David will care for your dog like his own! Dogs love him!!”

Casey R.
“Casey walked my Vizsla, Millie, for almost a year starting in late 2021. I got to know Casey through her parents, who lived in my building. I knew that Casey grew up with dogs and it was clear that Millie was so happy to see Casey whenever we would pass in the building hallways. When I went back to spending more time in the office, I asked Casey if she was willing to walk Millie. Fortunately for me, she was -- Casey was also so thoughtful in getting to know Millie. Casey, Millie, and I went for several walks together before she took over solo. Casey wanted to learn about Millie, understand her temperament, and know how to best care for her before taking over full-time. I can't speak more highly of Casey's time walking Millie. Casey was always on time and in a great mood. Millie was always so happy to see Casey and it was clear when they'd return from walking how much fun she'd had. Casey was incredibly responsive when it came to communicating and scheduling. She was very clear about her schedule but was also willing to be flexible (when possible) when my schedule would change. Casey is the perfect blend of professional, compassionate, and supportive. She made me feel incredibly safe when Millie was with her - and it was very clear that Millie had a blast spending time with Casey. I could not recommend her more highly!”
