About: I’ve been a veterinay technician for over 5 years but a pet parent for 15. I have experience giving medications, going on long walks, and giving plenty of snuggles. I’m currently working part-time so will have plenty of time to your furry family. I’m available most weekends, evening, and open to discussing a schedule that will fit your needs I offer drop-in checks, walks, or over night stays. I am respectful of you and your pets space and any rules you have set in place.

About: I empathize for the worries families face surrounding their pet(s). The bond we have with them is truly unique as they are like a baby and best friend all in one. Within this I see common ground with the owner through the need for reinforcement and communication. Hence why I will ensure your family a stable and reassuring experience. I am a full-time college student and part-time worker. This schedule makes weekends and holidays work best for me. I am open to incorporating pet care at other times depending on my present work load. I keep track of to-dos by making a list and crossing them off as I go. I also make the owner a note of what happened (how often they went out, what time they ate, etc) so we are on the same page. I understand the importance of routine so stick to the expectations!

About: Hey hey! My name is Lauren and I have years of experience pet sitting all types of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, bunnies, and more! I am reliable, trustworthy, and full of energy! No pet is too big, loud, or rambunctious. I am able and willing to give your pet the attention and care that it deserves. I work from home leaving me with a flexible and open schedule to care for your pet. I love going for morning walks and visiting the park near my house after work. I have two different sized crates if needed. I have extra dog beds. Any messes are cleaned up immediately. Water bowls are changed and rinsed out regularly. The environment will always be sanitary and free of anything that may harm your pet. Doors are always locked if left alone and at night.

About: Αγαπάω όλα τα σκυλάκια 💜🖤 Central air conditioning for those hot days! I am a social worker by profession but also lifestyle. I have realized my goal in life is to use my empathy to good use. I have several important goals I follow while watching your doggies: 1. What does your dog need? Does it need space,Play time, some love or a squirrel? Dog personalities are similar to humans and being in a different environment can change moods; we all need and want different things. I stay mindful of what those are and accommodate to the best of ability. 2. Treat all the dogs in my home as I would want my dogs to be treated. If I am having a busy workday, I still let the babies lay on my lap. Or when I get up for a moment, I give each doggo a pet and say hello I want them to feel loved and safe like they do in their own home. 3 No favoritism. Of course I have my favorites but I don’t tell the dogs that 🤷♀️ I work from home most of the week and my job is fairly flexible. Sometimes I will have to step out for an hour or two but there is always someone home. We offer plenty of treats, non toxic chews, bones (to dogs without allergies and who have been okayed). We have play mats, play puzzles, billions of toys, dog pools for the hot summer days and multiple gates, some installed (In case of aggressive eaters or food stealers), we are stocked with washable puppy pee pads ( in case your dog has issues using the potty, diapers will be requested if it is a medical issue), we have a lot of dog beds and dogs are allowed on the sofa and sleep in our bed (if they choose to). Oh yeah, your doggie will be placed into one of the four Harry Potter houses by the sorting hat lol. Tons of pictures will be provided!!

About: I’ve had a variety of pets from dogs & cats to rats, hamsters and mice. I’m very comfortable around any living creatures. If you have a pet I don’t have direct experience with I’m always more than willing to learn. I make my own schedule in my current position and I am looking to work for rover clients as a more fulfilling full time job. I am very respectful of peoples pets and property. I tend to leave a clients home tidier than I found it; I don’t mind doing light housework while your pets are relaxing after walks and play time.

“Shay was so great. She provided awesome updates with pictures. Very communicative and great with my pup. 10/10 would recommend and work with her again.”

About: I'm new to the pet-sitting business, and I'm eager to meet some more furry friends. I absolutely love dogs (mine is the best), and I am passionate about making sure they are well taken care of. I may not have a lot of experience, but I do have a lot of knowledge! Before adopting my first dog, I learned everything I could about dogs through books, online courses, videos, and connections. Did you know that dogs domesticated themselves nearly 10,000 years ago? You read that right - humans may have helped, but dogs did most of the work to become man's best friend. Another fact about me: I love to incorporate training into my time with dogs. Whether that's leash training on walks or cool tricks for the dogs that seem to have it all mastered, I want to help each dog become their best self. I have a lot of time on my hands right now, and I'm hoping to fill some of it making new canine friends. My availability is very flexible, so there's not much I can't do! I always take an individualized approach to each dog's needs. After all, they are just a different as humans are. I want to help your dog release some physical and mental energy with walks, games, and more!

About: Ive taken care of animals since I was about 10. I’ve lived in a household with dogs and cats my whole life. Along the way I have learned the basic pet-care needs like feeding times, walk times, and play time, as they’re all vital components of owning and caring for an animal! I currently live with 2 dogs and 1 cat whom all contrast in personalities and that’s just what makes them all unique and loveable! I’m currently going to school full time, however I am on summer vacation right now until the beginning of September, abs when I do go back to school the majority of my classes will be online, so my schedule will be very flexible! For the summer time, I’m available every Monday and Tuesday, and in the evening on Thursdays! As I’ve mentioned, I’m very flexible, so if we need to work something out I can do my very best! For my personal pets, I have a fenced in yard where they like to run around to play in and go potty. If it’s cold outside I usually play with them indoors, however, depending on the client, if they prefer me to play with their dog solely outside then I will comply with their rules!

“Toby was fantastic - he walked our dog half the time over a month-long vacation. Our dog liked him immediately, and communication, updates and info from him was always given promptly and clearly. Will definitely book again!”

Ian C.
“Dogs have always been a focal point of Ian's life - he grew up with adopted rescue dogs from the Erie county SPCA, an abandoned dog from their neighborhood in Buffalo, and several retired greyhounds from a dog track in Melbourne Florida. Ian is also a dog owner himself now - a Boston bull terrier pitbull mix from the Buffalo Animal shelter. He is conscientious both about animal well being and also of being a good pet owner - keeping his dog leashed and restrained to protect it and to be safe around other people and pets both at the dog park and in the neighborhood. Ian has completed dog obedience training with his own dog and is good at reading dog's moods/signals when they are together. He understands dogs can be sad or anxious when separated from their owners or when they are in a new unfamiliar setting. He is rigorous about bringing bags and picking up pet waste when out walking, and careful to make sure his own dog doesn't get overheated in this summer weather.”

“I got my puppy, Dakota, when I thought o was going to be able to work from home 3 days a week. When that fell through, I scrambled to find someone to at least take her out a couple of times a day until I made more permanent arrangements. Enter Lauren. She would come and take Dakota to the dog park, on hikes and at least out a couple of times a day when the weather wasn't good. Dakota loved spending time with Lauren and still gets excited when she sees her. I would definitely recommend Lauren as a dog sitter /walker.”
