Shannon's gentle manner won her over quickly. She also communicated with me the day of the walk and took them out for over 30 minutes and almost a mile. It made me so happy to see my beloved pups taken care of so well. If I lived in Buffalo, you can rest assured she'd be my pet sitter of choice! We are here for a few days on an RV tour, and I really appreciated how well Shannon took care of our pups.”

About: I've fostered and trained 14 puppies until they found their forever homes, with organizations like R.A.R.E Rescue and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. I especially love teaching puppies tricks, such as "sit," "spin," "come here," I can teach them to recognize their names, and I can potty and crate train as well. I used to volunteer at the Nashville Humane Society walking and socializing dogs and cats, and I have experience taking care of animals with special needs or special medical instructions. I love taking pictures of cute moments and will make sure any animal staying with me is loved and cared for! I've had both cats, dogs, and a snake as pets, and I have experience petsitting other animals for neighbors such as different reptiles, ferrets, and bunnies, so I'm definitely capable of taking care of any animal with specific instructions. I am self-employed and work from home, so pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have flexible hours and can be available for last minute requests. I also have a car to swing by at any time to take dogs on walks throughout the day or even drive to a dog park. I just moved to New York from Tennessee, so I'm a little new to the area. I do not have a fenced in yard but I love walking and spending time outdoors to give your fur baby some exercise and fresh air. Some responsibilities I’ll take on (but not limited to) are feeding, walking, boarding, taking pets to vet appointments, administering medicine, minor grooming, and providing a fun, safe companionship! I am reliable, trustworthy, and full of energy! No pet is too big, loud, or rambunctious. I am able and willing to give your pet the attention and care that it deserves. I work from home leaving me with a flexible and open schedule to care for your pet. I love going for morning walks and visiting the park near my house after work. I have two different sized crates if needed. I have extra dog beds. Any messes are cleaned up immediately. Water bowls are changed and rinsed out regularly. The environment will always be sanitary and free of anything that may harm your pet. Doors are always locked if left alone and at night.

About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.

From our very first meet-and-greet, I could tell Ian knew exactly how to handle a rambunctious dog. He was calm, confident, and immediately comfortable managing Archie’s energy. About: As Adoption Coordinator for the Oahu SPCA, I've seen it all. I've cared for dogs and cats in a clinical setting, as a foster, owner, and sitter for many years. I've found homes for countless animals in a rescue setting. And more than anything, I want your pet to feel safe and happy when their loving family is away. I work for myself from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can spend lots of quality time with your baby. Your pet will have no shortage of attention, snuggles, quality time and exercise. Dogs love routine- whether they're staying with me or at your house. Waking up at the same time each morning makes certain they get the ya-ya's out and don't have to wait to go potty. Puppies and older dogs with more urgent bladder needs will of course be accomodated with extra supervised trips outside and puppy pads if needed. I'm very conscious that there are no animal-toxic foods/plants/fragrances left out for pets to get into. You can rest assured your pet will be fed the proper amounts, medicines, and brands of your choice to protect their digestive system. My home offers a big beautiful bike path on the river, where your pet will get tons of good walks and a big house to explore. For cats, I have a large but contained space for them to roam and also find seclusion without getting lost. Their litter box will stay in the same spot every time so they know where to go, and they will always have fresh litter. I would love to play with them so bring their favorite toys! No other pets are in the home as all of our babies passed of old age. Adult family members share the home, so there is extra help. No kiddos are in the home so no concerns there. If in your home, I'm very diligent about making sure doors are secure and locked so pets don't escape. I always know where your pet is and make sure their environment is calm and quiet.

About: I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was 5 years old! If you need someone trustworthy, caring, and kind to animals to watch your babies, I am definitely the one to call!
