“Susan did a wonderful job taking care of my pets this weekend! She was able to schedule a meet-and-greet on short notice and was very thorough collecting the care instructions for my two large dogs and three cats. She was so patient with my very large and active Labradoodle and St. Bernadoodle. My dogs seemed very attached to her quite quickly and she did a fantastic job with them. She arrived promptly according to the care schedule, sent detailed updates and was extremely professional and lovely to work with. I am so happy to have found such an excellent sitter in my area and will gladly continue to rebook Susan!! Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had two wonderful dogs—a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab—so I know how special that bond is. I love spending time outside and going on long walks or peaceful wooded path strolls. I’m patient, affectionate, and happy to match your dog’s energy, whether they need active play or just some company. I treat every dog like family and will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a student with fully online, asynchronous classes, so my schedule is wide open! I’m flexible for walks, visits, overnights—whatever your pet needs at anytime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to keep routines consistent and reduce stress. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, or written reports so you always feel informed. I can administer medication if needed and ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in your absence. I also will respect your home and property, and always aim to leave things just as I found them.

My commitment to your pet's well-being ensures that they are never left alone for extended periods of time. Whether it's engaging in playtime, administering meals, or providing comforting company, your furry friend will always have a loving presence by their side. Unless specified otherwise, your pet will become just part of our family, granting them the freedom to roam certain areas of the house. Our couches and chairs are open for their lounging pleasure, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. About: New to Rover but not to pet sitting! My family has had dogs my whole life. As the oldest child in my household, I was responsible for all the little guys. Now I have an adorable, sassy cat at home who is a constant reminder of respectful boundaries and unconditional love. I’ve been a contact for family and friends when they need someone to watch or check in with their fur babies. I always want to make sure you and your pet are comfortable around me. I would be honored to care for your best friend. Don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding my services and we’ll see if I’m a good fit for you. I am currently in between jobs so I have a wide range of availability! In the future, I expect to be working part to full time during normal workweek hours 9-5, so would have more availability in early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby many dog-friendly trails. To stay at my home, your dog must be comfortable with cats, potty trained, and overall well-behaved. My cat has not had experience with other cats in our home so that is not something I am comfortable with. Around your home, I am happy to stick to whatever practices and routines are familiar and comfortable for your pet.

“I found Danielle to be adaptable, flexible, communicative, open, reliable, trustworthy, dependable. She did exactly what she said she was going to do and more. She was available last minute to come watch/walk my dogs twice a day every day for seven days. She did not miss one day. She was here at the same time every day by 3:30 p.m.and again by 8. p.m. she used the Rover app extensively, I knew through Rover when she left the house when she was on her walk and when she returns the house. She sent pictures of the dogs. And she even fed the cats for me because I needed to have the cats occupied while she left the house so they wouldn’t try to slip out. I have three indoor cats. She went over and above my expectations. I am so so thankful the couple that I had planned to watch my dogs canceled on me 36 hours before my flight out. I needed someone desperately and three people were available. I chose Danielle because of her self reported review, and when she came to the house, her demeanor, confidence, ability to deal with the barking dogs and excitability of one of my dogs showed me that she could handle just about anything. I will be traveling again soon. Danielle will be my go to. Even if I have to leave the house for an entire day, I will be using Rover to schedule with Danielle she’s the best. So so so thankful that the first couple ditched me because I would never ever have met such a capable person like Danielle. There wasn’t a moment that I worried about my animals. Nor my house. She is so flexible that she had no problem canceling the last day due to my flight being on time, and me returning to the home an hour before her scheduled dog walk. She’s wonderful. My only problem with Danielle is I’m afraid she’ll be so busy after people read my review that she won’t have time to squeeze me into her schedule. She’s a keeper for sure.”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. My family had a chocolate lab for 14 years when I was growing up. He was my best friend. My fiancé and I now have the pleasure of having a beautiful husky shepherd pup we picked up at just 6 weeks old who is now 5, a Rotty/Dobermann we adopted at 1 who is now 4, and a 2 year old Bengal kitty. We love taking long walks with our animal troop and spending time with them whenever we can. We bring them to the beach, for long nature hikes in the woods, play in our large fenced in backyard, and go on nice quiet neighborhood walks. On top of the needs of our own pets, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, babysit/board, and pop in to check on their pets while away. I can fit in time for your furry friend whenever! You can reach me any time via cell phone. I have plenty of time throughout the week and the weekend. I’m very flexible with time and can take care of your loved ones any day of the week. During the week, I work as a Chiropractor at my office in Westerly so I will be close by. I have plenty of experience with taking care of others and making sure they get exactly what they need when they need it. I will be around Monday, Wednesday, Thursday before 9 am, between 12-3pm, and after 6 pm. Tuesdays I am free anytime before 3pm and after 6 pm. Fridays I am free before 9 am or after 12:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays I am free all day. These are all definite times for availability, among various other times I may have time open up. I have a very large fenced in yard with many features and with two furry friends to play with your pup if you’d like! I can also keep them separate if you prefer! I can take your pup to the dog park or for a nice hike or walk, and make sure to feed them when they are hungry or on your pre-determined schedule. You let me know what you and your animal needs, and I will accommodate.

Caitlyn R.
“Cait did an amazing job watching my two dogs, Brutus and Koda, and my cat, Bean, over the long weekend. I was a little nervous to leave them for that long, but she really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She kept me updated every day with photos and little check-ins, which helped me relax knowing they were in good hands. Brutus can be a little anxious when I’m gone, and Cait was super patient with him — even figured out that he settles better when he gets his favorite blanket during downtime. Koda has a ton of energy, and Cait made sure he got plenty of playtime and walks to tire him out. At one point, Bean somehow knocked her food bowl behind the fridge (classic), and Cait didn’t just leave it — she actually moved the fridge, found it, and cleaned up the mess without even making a big deal out of it. I didn’t even know that was possible, honestly. I came home to a clean apartment, happy pets, and a note from Cait with a little summary of the weekend. It was such a thoughtful touch. I could tell she really cared about making sure everything was done right. Would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable, kind, and super capable pet sitter.”
