âWeâve used Lauren several times and on this trip away we hit a major delay in our return. Lauren was happy to return to make sure our pup was cared for! So thankful for Lauren and feel so reassured leaving our dog in her care in the future.â

About: I am as reliable, flexible, and obsessed with animals as they come! Having grown up helping my parents with their petsitting business, I am experienced and familiar with the ins and outs of caring for other people's pets and homes. I also have three cats of my own who are the loves of my life, and have lived with several wonderful dogs over the years. As a long time Rover user, I know all too well how important it is for a sitter to send timely, thoughtful, and detailed updates after each visit. I strive to provide the same level of communication that I'd hope to receive about my own pets because I know how much this helps put your mind at ease while you're away. In addition to the services listed on my profile, I'm eager to help out in other ways that you might need - watering plants, receiving packages/bringing in the mail, etc. I'm happy to discuss this in more detail if there's anything else I can do for you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I work part-time with a very flexible schedule, and do not plan on traveling for the foreseeable future. The flexibility in my schedule allows me to accommodate last minute bookings under most circumstances. I currently cannot care for pets in my home, as I unfortunately do not have the space needed to provide this service to customers right now.
About: I was born with a love for animals of all kinds. I have cared for my own starting with cats since I was young. I then helped care for horses as a young girl into my teens then later in my 40âs. My real love for dogs came when we rescued our first pup from save a dog in 2002 when she was 8 weeks old. I never went anywhere without her. She was in our wedding. We rescued her sister 3 yrs later a yellow lab mix who was just a fun goody good girl. They loved our babies we had and chickens as we introduced them they became great friends. Then they welcomed our little Shiba Inu, Thor with open arms who is the sweetest boy ever, now 4. I have always been the go to person for friends and friends of friends, and family to watch their beloved pets when needed. I love spending any time I can with all kinds of animals. I am happiest when I get to walk the dogs, take them swimming, for a car ride or just playing in the yard. My dogs have always come first and I donât ever really go anywhere unless they can come too. Our two girl dogs lived to be 16 3/4 and it broke all our hearts when it came time to say good bye. We recently said goodbye to our last oldest dog and I keep having dogs over to play with our young pup to cheer him up and itâs helped immensely! I would love to open up my time to help care for others pets who donât like leaving theirs home either. I work at home, I am a photographer and we donât travel much. My husband also works from home and my two girls are 15 and 12 and are all just as much animal lovers as myself. Hard to beat though. We are very flexible for scheduling. I have high gates at our doors and a big fenced yard with gates in the front. We plan to put a smaller fenced area out back with a 6ft fence. I have a 4.5 yr old 40lb male Shiba Inu who just loves a good game of catch me if you can with other dogs. He is the sweetest sharer, very empathetic and is use to older/Sr and well behaved dogs. I am have a lower finished walk out family level where I work that if needed could keep your dog separate too. I donât mind bathing your dog either if they donât mind it and itâs needed.
âEmily did a wonderful job with my dogs and keeping me updated and sending photos of them! Our one dog is recovering from surgery and needed some special care and Emily managed fine! We will definitely contact her again for future needs.â

About: Iâve owned and cared for pets my entire life, with dedication, experience and loyalty. I would treat your dog as a part of my own family. As an active and athletic retiree, pet sitting seamlessly weaves into my daily life with abundant time to shower pets with attention, play time (someone say jogging?!) and care. In the literal lap of luxury, Toby and Pippin are in a world of pampering with plush beds to gourmet treats. In the 14 1/2 years we had our beloved Golden Retirever ⌠Bozzie⌠he was our world and gave us the same endless affection we gave him.
âWe donât like to leave our boy home alone if weâre going to be gone longer than a couple hours. Palma graciously came and hung out with him at our house, and everything worked out great! Thank you!!â

âAshley was punctual, communicative and followed my instructions when watching my 7 month old puppy. I look forward to adding Ashley into my rotation of regular dog sitters!â

âAnna went so far above and beyond our expectations. She came highly recommended by one of my coworkers and as we had never used a dog sitter before, we were thankful for the recommendation. Her level of communication was exceptional, and she left the house in incredible shape. She took our dog on lots of adventures and he absolutely loved it! And we did too. Our vacation was made all the better knowing he was in such capable, thoughtful hands! We will not hesitate to work with Anna in the future and will definitely she sharing her name with anyone who needs help in our area. She is awesome and we are so lucky to have had her help! Book with confidence!â

âKiera took great care of our golden retriever! She was reliable, communicative, and incredibly attentive. It was so nice to get regular updates and photos. My dog warmed up instantly to Kiera and was relaxed and happy when I returned. The house was also left spotless and well cared for.â

âRosy has been house sitting and walking my dog for a few months now. I can confidently say that Rosy is the best sitter Iâve met on Rover! She is such a wonderful and sweet person who puts a smile on my face when I see her. Caring and patient with my anxious/reactive dog who has a lot of quirks and special needs. About: Hello. My name is Dawn and I was born in Yorkshire in England. I stumbled upon Rover 12 years ago whilst trying to find alternative accommodation for my own puppies and thought what a great idea it was. Having just taken a two year break to go spend time with my family, I am now ready to start up my Rover account again. For now, I am only offering service to house sit in your home whilst you are away. Having had 2 dogs with anxiety who dislike small children, I realised how hard it is to find someone to take care of them as soul clients. They either have multiple guests at once, or they have children. This is my only job so my full attention will be on your pups. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication by mouth. This is my only job so I can provide care 24/7. I stay so you don't have to. Why give up your vacation when I can look after your pets. Your pets will keep their daily routine. No stressful strange environments. There's no place like home. I will be there to look after their every need. Cuddles are free.
âAnna was great! She cared for our babies and our house as if they were her own. Everything was clean when we came home. We got pictures every day and she was very reliable. Highly recommend!â

âEmily did a great job taking care of our 5 pets! They require some specialized care and she had no trouble doing everything we asked of her! She was also just super nice, left the house clean, and sent us lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We would definitely hire her again!â

North Stonington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Olivia watched our two dogs and cat this week while we were away and was so great with all 3 pets, including with our senior dog who became ill very suddenly in the middle of the night. She kept us updated with our dogâs condition and went above and beyond with what was an unexpected trip to the weekend emergency vet. We felt completely comfortable with Oliviaâs care of our dog and felt confident she was on top of things during what could have been a stressful day navigating the logistics of a vet visit while driving home from out of state. It helped knowing our dog was being cared for so proactively. We would happily book with Olivia again and recommend her to others!
