About: I offer structured, enrichment-focused boarding and daycare in my home, with an emphasis on helping each dog feel safe, understood, and cared for. I’ve been training dogs since 2022 and welcome dogs of all training backgrounds, meeting every dog and owner with compassion, respect, and empathy. I’m a former Veterinary Technician with four years of experience, and I’m confident administering medications, caring for senior dogs, and closely monitoring health and behavior. Your dog’s comfort and well-being are always my top priorities. Boarding includes a structured walk, play and yard time, place/relaxation work, and a hike. For safety and peace of mind, dogs are crated when unsupervised, so boarding clients must be crate trained. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies and distemper. To ensure the best fit and answer any questions, all new clients are required to complete an in-person meet and greet prior to booking. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home throughout the day and able to give dogs consistent attention, structure, and care. Our days include structured walks, enrichment activities, play and yard time, relaxation/place work, and hikes when appropriate. I closely monitor each dog’s behavior, energy level, and comfort, and I tailor care to their individual needs. With my training background and veterinary experience, I’m able to provide attentive, knowledgeable care while keeping dogs safe, calm, and happy in my home. In my home, dogs are cared for in a safe, structured, and comfortable environment. I have kennels in a variety of sizes to ensure every dog can rest comfortably and securely when needed. On days when outdoor activities aren’t possible due to weather, I provide indoor options such as treadmills and a variety of interactive enrichment activities to keep dogs mentally and physically engaged. When weather allows, I take advantage of nearby trails and parks to give dogs safe, enriching adventures that suit their energy level and needs.

About: I have helped families take care of their pets (and kids!) for over 20 years! I just moved to Westerly with my husband, rescue pup, and sweet senior cat and we just had our first child. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Depending on the baby’s schedule, sometimes my husband does the visits for me or we all go together with the baby in a carrier— let me know in advance if you have any issues. Being a mother is my full time job, so my schedule is very flexible! Feel free to inquire about a date that is marked unavailable. I take into consideration what each pet needs during my visits, whether that’s a long walk, a few rounds of fetch or just some cuddles.

“Isabelle and Zachary took our dog Shea. I’m very short notice because we had to attend a funeral. She felt very welcome and went on a nice long walk with Isabelle and the other dogs. She seemed to settle in right away with everything and felt very comfortable. I was a bit late in returning from the funeral and the they were very gracious about it. We will be sure to trust Shea here when we return to this area. Awesome experience!”

About: I have a french bulldog pug mix named Bugzey.He is very aloof wifh other dogs but loves people and especially car rides through Ashaway!I have a Jack Russell terrier named Nyko that LOVES TO PLAY WITH TOYS!His favorite game is chase and catch with his pink beef flavored ball!He tend to hoard all of his toys!I also have a miniature pinscher named NEMO who is the leader of our pack.On walks he leads by 5 feet to ensure every aspect of the ambient terrain is safe.That is the canine pack that your dog will have a joyful time with.I love dogs and I have to stay home as my pug gets completely frazzled if I try to leave!Bugzey obviously has separation anxiety.I will do my absolute best to care for your dog as if it were one of mine.Your dog will never be unattended and my Nyko who is a JRT (Jack Russell Terrier)will surely show your dog everything he knows about staying actively amused and entertained for the entire day to make every second count! I am a stay at home dog parent. MY PRIORITY IS MY DOGS! I have lots of land all beautifully landscaped and live on a quiet country road surrounded by farmland and peaceful tranquility. Exercise is paramount to a healthy dog which is why we walk over a mile a day!We even use a stroller for our seniors that aren't as happy to walk for an hour.Exercise is included while your dog stays on our premises! I have a very large fenced in yard but still provide 24/7 supervision as I fervently believe that fur babies need protection. We love being outdoors and being active. Simba is my youngest and he is full of pep to playfully engage the most energetic of all dogs.Yes we go on walks but lots of off leash romps throughout my large fenced in premises as well.My philosophy is that a well exercised pet is also are the most vital healthiest and happiest.

“Molly has severe separation anxiety and can’t be left alone, which limits what we can do during the week. We have been looking for someone to watch her regularly for church on Sundays though and I’m so glad we found Madelyn! We drop Molly off in the morning and pick her up a few hours later and we know she’s in good hands. Madelyn provides prompt communication and takes good care of our girl!”
