About: Taken care of dogs + other pets since I was 5 and always have loved taking care of them, especially puppies, including my own and other's. I have open availability as long as there are no other appointments that day; I accept same-day appointments as well and shape to your needs. About: Hi! I'm available to care for your dog / cats in your home. I spend most of my time between Portland, Maine and Stonington, Connecticut. Born into a family of German Shepards and I've been taking care of animals since. Experienced in all temperaments, sizes and personalities. I’d be happy to provide care and love for your pet in their environment. No animal too strange… My greatest passion in life has been learning and practicing animal communication. For new pet owners who are still getting to know their pets – after getting to know each other a bit, I can share any insights about behaviors. And your pets will have the option of professional massage available to them, free of charge. We will always have fun, stick to training efforts and have as much exercise and play as he or she requires. The rest, we can discuss on the phone and/or home visit. I’m on a mission to offer people more tools to learn deeper connection - to animals and the natural environment, and to themselves. I generally work at “home” so am able to spend a lot of time with your pet, letting them know that you’ve made sure they are taken care of after the suitcases are out the door. If we're newly connecting, I like to start with a call or video chat and maybe a home visit if we need to. So that we can make sure we are a good fit, you can have a face to the person who will be in your home and I can learn about your pet's needs, preferences and schedule.

About: I’ve had large breed dogs since I was a child. I currently own a German shepherd. have experience with cats and ferrets as well. My home is very clean and organized. Your pet will be super safe and loved I work part time early mornings. Your baby will be cared for and walked before and after my 4 hour shift. I’m free everyday by noon I have a big yard surrounded by hedges. I am very careful and would never endanger your pet because mine is like my child. I have been trained to the De-escalate situations.

About: I have had dogs, various other pets, and have rescued quite a few wild animals throughout my life. My large immediate family always counts on me to watch their animals when they go on vacation. My son recently bought a house with a nice yard and he took his dog with him. As you can see from the photos, that dog and I spent a lot of time together. I still make his food from scratch and take him for hikes as often as I can. I make my own hours and now that I do not have a dog around pushing me to walk the town, several times a day, I feel this is a good fit to keep me active. I have a lot of experience with a 90lb nervous pitty, and have a number of safe and private locations in mind for walks. I also have a large crate and access to a large yard if needed. I genuinely care for Animals and will put in the effort it takes to ensure each unique personality has a great experience.

“Margo watched Finn during the day when I had to go back to work. She had no problem accepting the challenge of caring for a young puppy and has many years of experience raising dogs of her own. Finn got along really well with her two dogs and was always excited to go to Margo's house when I dropped him off in the morning. She sent pictures and updates of them going on walks together, playing in the yard with her dogs, and working on some of his training. About: I'll be honest, I am doing this because I need extra money. But I want to make extra money spending time with your pets because I love being around animals and I want to spend actual time with them giving them love, exercise, and a good time. I am able to spend actual time with them as I am a teacher and do not work during the summer. Animals deserve to be shown affection as much as possible throughout the day especially when a lot of their time is spent waiting for owners to come home. Don't let your pets wait around for you, give them someone to hangout with in the meantime! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes! I know how important it is for animals to be cared for meaning being fed, bathed, and given a good rubbin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask (: I am a teacher on summer break so I am fully available for your pets! I love to take them for walks and play with them. I care for pets by taking them for walks and to the bathroom based on their schedule at home. I love to play with dogs and give them rubs. I love making new dog friends.

“I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. Sue kept me updated on Sadie’s progress with texts, pictures and videos. I am so very grateful and would recommend Sue to anyone seeking a great pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and some friendly neighborhood chickens. I love them all! I’ve been walking dogs since I was a freshman in high school and I don’t think i’ll ever get tired of it! I have a very flexible schedule since I only have a part time job, and I take quite a bit of work from this app :) I love taking walks, so I provide anywhere from two to four potty breaks or trips outside throughout the day. I also enjoy hiking and I like to bring pups with a bit more energy to tag along. I’m more than happy to stay in your home with your pets if discussed and my main concern is that your pets are happy, safe, and just like you left them.
