“This was the first time Lucky had anyone other than a close friend or family member stay at the house with him. Jason did a great job of introducing himself through his meet and greet. Several days before his stay, he came by to get the key and played more with Lucky for familiarity. Kept me apprised daily how things were going including photos. Very friendly individual. “Sabrina and Daniel house sat for my miniature Australian Shepherd Rosie. Rosie is 5 years old and while she is a sweetheart with her family, she is somewhat reserved with people she doesn’t know well. Sabrina and Daniel read her correctly almost instantly. They won her over with patience and a soft and gentle approach and maybe a few treats. ? They made sure she had all of her favorite things while we were gone: walks, play time, sunbathing, cuddle time and overnight company. Sabrina and Daniel kept us updated with texts and pictures which we very much appreciated. Although it was a holiday (Easter) and I would have understood if their time was limited, they were generous with their time and attention to Rosie. The house and yard were just as we left them. I highly recommend!”

In communicating up to the day we left, Davied was available, regularly responding quickly through Rover, and thorough and thoughtful with questions about Frank's care. While we have different primary languages, that was never an issue in our exchanges - he speaks better English than I do :) While we were gone, Davied sent regular texts and photos, along with updates that let us know that Davied was doing his job and Frank was having fun - win/win for us. We let Davied know that Frank has a very high prey drive, so to be mindful in the fenced backyard and while on walks. Davied was very intentional with the activities he did with Frank, and was mindful of other critters in our fenced yard - ensuring the welfare of all. While staying in our home, Davied maintained it well - no issues upon return!”

We got regular updates and could tell they were having a blast – walks, playtime, and even a special hike up into the mountains that honestly looked like a spot I’d love to check out myself. ;) The house was in great shape when we got back, and he even washed his bedding and towels before heading out. He grabbed the mail, took out the trash, and did a solid job cleaning up after the pups (we all know that’s no easy task!). We’re super happy with how everything went and would definitely love to have him back next time, if he's available!”
