About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was very young. My family raised many different breeds over the years—from small companion dogs like Pugs, Pekingese, and Pomeranians to large breeds like German Shepherds and Great Danes. I developed a deep love for animals early on and have continued caring for pets into adulthood. I’ve owned both cats and dogs myself, and I’ve helped friends and neighbors care for their pets when they’re away. I’m comfortable bathing pets, giving medication when they’re sick.I treat every animal with patience and love, as if they were my own. As a new sitter on Rover, I’m currently offering a discounted rate to build my experience and reviews — while still providing full care and love! 🐾 I’m currently available full-time and have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. Since I don’t host pets in my home, I focus on drop-in visits, dog walking, and in-home sitting. I always make time to give your pets the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Although I don’t offer boarding at my home, I’m very experienced with in-home pet care. I will follow your instructions carefully to keep your pets safe, happy, and comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or medication, I treat every pet with love and respect — just like family.

“Karen was very reliable and tidy—she followed feeding and litter instructions well, and the house was left cleaner than I’m used to after cat sitters, which I appreciated. She took the time to explain how to use the app, carefully wrote down my instructions, and responded very quickly to messages. Communication was smooth and she arrived on time. A bit more interactive engagement would have been great, but overall, I’m grateful for the care she provided.”

“Nadiia was amazing as always. She took our pup to the park and on a long walk. She was in touch throughout and sent us the cutest pictures!! We’ll be asking Nadiia for her help again in the future!”

Your pet will be with me the entire time with a watchful eye and comfort, and they will feel like they are at home away from home

About: Hi! I’m Alexa and I am from San Diego, California. While growing up, I walked to school and stopping along the way to pet each and every dog we spotted. Eventually my family adopted one of our own, Marley, and from there on out she walked to school with us every day. My love for dogs only grew from there. I would pet sit my neighbors dog when needed (vacation, late from work, etc). Their dog loved to walk but had a hip problem so we had to make his walks shorter and have him wear doggie booties. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter for a number of years. I’ve been taking care of pets since high school, throughout undergrad and currently while in graduate school! Since I don’t have the time for a pet of my own, I’m more than happy to help out with yours :) Currently in my first doctorate of physical therapy clinical rotation. So I work 4 x 10’s, have Tuesdays and weekends off, would love to help out! I have ample experience cat/dog sitting, and walking or running with dogs! It’s been great taking care of others pets, the best boost to my mood during a hard grad school program

About: With over 20 years of dog-loving experience, I’ve shared my life with pups of all shapes, sizes, and ages—from frisky puppies to wise seniors. While I currently don’t have a furry companion (after saying goodbye to my sweet little dog last year), my calendar—and couch—are ready for canine company! Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and entertain their pets, and I’m known for doling out head scratches and belly rubs as generously as treats. Your pup will get the VIP treatment and all the love they deserve! Pet care is my passion, and I love filling my days with walks and playtime. Since I live in an apartment, walk breaks happen frequently—perfect for pups with potty breaks or high energy needs! I set my schedule around your pets, ensuring they never feel rushed (and have time for that extra lap around the block). Most days, I’m home and flexible, ready for early morning or evening visits to suit your routine. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority. At my place, pets get a cozy, secure environment and plenty of attention—no overcrowding or chaos here! On walks, I stay alert for other animals and hazards. Whether I’m caring for your pet at my apartment or in your home, I maintain a calm, clean space and keep you updated with photos and cheerful messages—you’ll rest easy knowing your furry family member is in caring, experienced hands!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old! I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and those with health issues. I also love cats! I make time for any and all activities that have to do with caring for an animal! If I sign up for something, I show up. I make sure to always be aware of my surroundings and those around me, and I pay great attention to the animals in my care.

About: I've always had a love for dogs every since I was little and actually got to help raise my current dog when COVID happened in 2020 from when he was a puppy. I've pet sat so many times throughout my life and thought this would be a good way to help ensure the well-being of everyone's pet in their family! I am currently home for the summer and working remotely for an internship two days of the week. I have plenty of time to go and check on your pet during the day! Will make sure they are safe and sound. I have trained my dog to love his crate, so he usually goes in there when he wants to. I will mostly ask what the client is most comfortable with and what they need from me to best care for their pet!

About: I have been a registered dog foster for 4 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I have been living in the city for over a year now and have decided I have more than enough time to care for a dog or two. Extremely flexible work from home schedule so pet would almost never be left alone. No travel plans coming up anytime soon. Available weekdays and weekends. I live in a pet friendly building in West Loop. Plenty of grass and outdoor areas around building and walkable to several dog parks. Super affectionate and loving towards all breeds so lots of petting and snuggles throughout the day. Also love talking to them.

About: I have pet sit for 10+ different dogs since I was 16 rangining from tiny dogs to giant dogs. I have owned cats and dogs my whole life. Including four dogs and six cats. I currently only do dog walking and cat/ dog sitting so I have a very open schedule to care for your animals. Im flexible with times and can provide some same day services. I always want the dog to stick to a routine that it’s used to especially when their owners aren’t home. I know it can be very stressful for animals when their owners leave and I just want to create a soothing environment. I will respect your rules for your pet and not overstep my boundaries.

“Patricia dropped in on our dog twice a day while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond, taking him to the park to play fetch and spending extra time with him. Thanks Patricia!”

About: I am centrally located by I-5 in a house with a fenced back yard, without any access by other animals. My home is filled with love and positivity! Many years of dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors. My teenage daughter and I are the ultimate dog lovers and it shows, we are always on time, follow their diets and walks are as long as possible. We are very flexible to accommodate your beloved baby’s needs. Weekends are almost always available, evenings and nights, too. During the week days, it varies. Just ask! We have a fenced yard and a park next to our house. Whether walking or pet sitting, I always make sure the safety is number one priority.

About: My family has had 4 golden retrievers, 1 pit bull, and 1 white lab throughout the years. Although I am new to Rover, I have years of experience with house sitting, dog walking, and pet care. I currently work full time but have Thursday and Friday off. I can walk before or after work any day of the week. Message me and I'm sure we can work something out. My dog has a huge yard to explore but we would still take him on walks outside the property often. I am 23 and have a lot of energy so I can handle dogs that are the same. I'm very accommodating. Explain how you like things handled and I will make sure it happens that way.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 15 years, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or giving meds, I treat every pup like part of the family. Friends and neighbors rely on me for everything from daily visits to overnight stays, and I’ve built great bonds with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m confident, calm, and always ready for fetch, belly rubs, or just quiet companionship. Bonus: I never show up without treats (with your permission, of course!). Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m flexible and can accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a long walk, or quality cuddle time, I make sure each visit is stress-free and tailored to your dog’s personality and schedule. Weekdays and weekends are both available, and I always build in time for updates, so you’ll never wonder how your pup is doing. Safety, trust & environment Keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable is always my top priority—whether I’m staying at your place or welcoming your pet into mine. I stick closely to your care instructions and take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. When I’m in your home, I make sure everything stays just the way they’re used to. At my place, it’s calm and cozy with lots of supervision and comfy spots to lounge. ***I have two sweet Frenchies who are great with other dogs—we’ve had a third pup stay with us for weeks at a time, and it’s always a blast. I keep things secure, walk with sturdy leashes, and treat every pet like one of my own. If you’re looking for care for two or more dogs, I usually prefer staying at your place—it helps keep things low-stress and more familiar for them.

“Stephanie was great! She took great care of our kitties. They even warmed up to her, they are kind of persnickety as all cats are. She is an awesome individual as well.”
