About: I'm the proud mama to 3 mutts: Bull/Terrier Mix, Kodak, & two Basset/Lab Mixes, Nikon & Fuji. I have always been a dog lover & have fully enjoyed dog-sitting & dog-walking for friends & family back in OKC, my hometown, & I can't wait to get to do the same for your fur-member here in JAX! I also work at a dog park bar & have gone through dog behavior training & walking. I work full time from home M-Fri, but I can be flexible and am usually available on the weekends. I also take care of my motley crew of 3 pups on the daily. At my own home, I have a fenced-in yard and our dogs to either keep your pup company or have multiple crates to separate them if necessary. I'm happy to check in or dog sit at clients' homes too.

About: From neighbors’ dogs and cats, to a friend’s bunny and my own fish and hamsters, I’ve loved caring for animals all my life. I adopted my dog, JJ, in 2020 when he was 2 years old and living as a stray on the streets. When I first met him, all he knew was “sit,” but over the years I’ve taught him all kinds of things, from closing doors to jumping over poles. I love him with all my heart, and I understand the anxiety that comes with trusting someone else to care for your pet. That’s why I make it a point to treat every dog, cat, and animal in my care the same way I would want someone to treat JJ—with patience, attention, and lots of love. I work from home and able to leave at a moments notice majority of the time so I can be available for emergencies as well as daily/weekly care as needed. At my own home, I have a fenced in back yard where I allow my dog to roam freely. I also take him on at least one walk a day. When we have other dogs over, I am always present and focused to ensure there are no issues and will step in proactively if the body language is off. In a client's home, I would follow whatever the owner would like me to do.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! I have 3 Years of experience walking dogs, drop-ins, and boarding when friends/family/clients are out of town and need someone to care for their fur baby. Experience with smaller & bigger dogs, puppies to senior dogs, and administering oral medication when needed. I currently have clients from a different company but also use Rover for Saturdays & Sundays (When the fur baby can’t come along on vacation)! Im currently working part-time at an elementary school plus college! I’d like to make something extra on the side and find this to be perfect because I love animals and I know people can get busy sometimes! My dog is always free even though he has been crate-trained before. He’s just a big furry baby and we want him around always. I can walk, bathe, play and feed your baby when needed in the mornings.

“Jackson was great at getting back to me for a last minute request. It was a hot day and I told him my lab would rather play in the pool versus go for a walk and he did not hesitate to indulge her. He was incredibly communicative with pictures and she was thoroughly exhausted for the rest of the day! I would definitely recommend him.”

About: I grew up in a country area, we had a lot of animals growing up. We had to take care of chickens, bunnies, roosters, horses, cows, guinea pigs and dogs. I think I have a strong base to take care of a pet appropriately. Plus we are a military family l, most likely you will find us on base! Currently I am employed full time in a working from home environment, at times I can be called in to deploy out of state but I will let you know in advance! Mostly I am available during weekdays in the morning before 8am and in the afternoon after 4:30pm. I can also be available on Saturdays with prior notification/plan. We have a fenced yard, lots of green areas,trails that we can walk to, a dog park and well lit areas. For me this is as serious and delicate as taking care of a child, I will ask owners if treats are allowed or anything that is allowed/not allowed.

I told her my dog loved other dogs and she ended up bringing her own for a play date which my dog loved. If I’m ever in need of a sitter again I’ll for sure be booking Portia!!!”
