“Taylor was great. She took such great care of my pups and was very warm/loving to them (easily told by the pictures of them cuddled up on her lap during visits). She gave them extra attention during her drop ins and I will definitely use her again.”

“Portia was amazing. I’ve never been more pleased with someone looking over my dog. She even came over to meet the dog the day before just to get a feel for her and it was an instant match. I told her my dog loved other dogs and she ended up bringing her own for a play date which my dog loved. If I’m ever in need of a sitter again I’ll for sure be booking Portia!!!”

“Sherri took wonderful care of our kitten. She also helped us out with a leaking roof while we were out of town! We will definitely book her again!!”

“Katie was on time and sent many pictures of the pup! She was very patient with him since he is shy at first and left great updates. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: At one point in time,my family and I had three dogs. We found one and made him a part of our family. One we got from the human society and the other was a puppy from a sibling. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and this is a great opportunity for all involved. My home is both warm and inviting. I’m at a point in my life that I need some excitement and dogs bring, not only fun but love and affection. I have an abundance of love that needs to be shared and I can provide dogs with that love. I also enjoy walking a dog or dogs. It’s great exercise plus it’s fun!I can't wait to get this ball rolling and see what comes of this opportunity. Thanks! I enjoy taking walks and can and will do it every morning and night. If I am with he/she on the weekends we will do adventures. I actually like to check in the dogs often even in a fenced yard to make sure he/she is safe and not into mischievous behavior.
“Sophie was great with my cat Willow. She was super responsive, detailed, and gave me lots of info on how my little buddy was doing while I was out of town. Will definitely check with her for any future out of town trips!”

About: In addition to 12+ years caring for dogs, I have hands-on veterinary office experience in boarding, grooming, and health care - providing safe, loving care. I work full-time Monday-Friday, leaving mornings, evenings, and weekends free to provide walks, drop-ins, and sitting with plenty of love and attention for your dog. I do my best to keep your dog’s routine consistent with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and rest so they feel right at home. I happily provide care whether it’s my home or yours -keeping your pet’s routine, playtime, comfort, and environment as consistent as possible while you’re away. I provide attentive, loving care in a calm home environment where dogs can feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you’re away. To help keep my home clean and comfortable for everyone, I ask that dogs be house-trained before booking. I completely understand that accidents can happen, especially in new places. Pups still learning potty habits are okay as long as they’re comfortable being crated when unsupervised. I also kindly ask that dogs arrive clean and free of strong odors at drop-off so I can maintain a fresh and comfortable environment for all pets. Meet-and-greets are encouraged for first-time bookings to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone.

About: Experienced and trustworthy pet sitter/dog walker who loves animals. I’ve taken care of dogs of all types and also work with dogs on training at all stages. I can take the laziest dog and make them into an active pup and am comfortable walking long distances. I am also comfortable with walking up to 3 dogs at one time. I treat every dog like they are my own and provide detailed reports back to you at the end of each walk or time pet sitting. I am also experienced in taking care of puppies as well as senior dogs who might need some additional love, care or medication. I am looking forward to meeting your fur baby and helping with your pet care needs! :) I work from home so pet care is great with my schedule! I keep the dogs in a routine just as I do with myself everyday. I don’t leave the dogs for longer than 4 hours and that’s IF I even have to. I work from home so the pups are barely alone. I make sure I am able to keep them active throughout the day to get their playtime and exercise in.
About: I grew up in a country area, we had a lot of animals growing up. We had to take care of chickens, bunnies, roosters, horses, cows, guinea pigs and dogs. I think I have a strong base to take care of a pet appropriately. Plus we are a military family l, most likely you will find us on base! Currently I am employed full time in a working from home environment, at times I can be called in to deploy out of state but I will let you know in advance! Mostly I am available during weekdays in the morning before 8am and in the afternoon after 4:30pm. I can also be available on Saturdays with prior notification/plan. We have a fenced yard, lots of green areas, trails that we can walk to, a dog park and well lit areas. For me this is as serious and delicate as taking care of a child, I will ask owners if treats are allowed or anything that is allowed/not allowed.

North Beach pet parents share their Rover experiences
Can’t imagine trusting anyone else to watch our dog for a short out of town weekend getaway. She was extremely responsive from the beginning with a meet & greet, check ins, photos/videos, and report cards. Our dog had so much fun with her and we felt more and more comfortable with each drop in she did. Would highly recommend her & will absolutely be booking again on our next trip!!

Sherri did a great job caring for our 12-year old cat while we were away. She was always responsive and compassionate for our boy. I felt at ease knowing that she was checking on him while we were gone. Thanks for everything, Sherri! Will definitely book again. 😊

We will 100% be booking Amber in the future! She was extremely professional, left such detailed feedback, and was quick to respond to every message. She also had no issue administering oral or injectable medication. Thank you for taking such great care of our senior cats!💕

Thank you, Jennifer! We really appreciate everything you do for us, and our fur babies while we are away. It's nice to know they are well taken care of and that allows us to have a stress free and fun vacation. Not sure what month, but we'll be checking in with you again next year. Thanks, Traci
