About: Recently moved here from our family farm in central Minnesota, I have experience in working with a multitude of animals. Any animal from dogs to cattle, poultry to pigs and cats to horses! I have experience in dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family with or without being paid. I have a walker hound back home on the farm who loves to run around the farm and lives to hunt so changing his environment from the farm to an apartment didn’t seem fair to do. I miss him dearly, and have such a love for dogs, I would take them all home if I could! I also have experience working on a pig farm as a farrowing technician (assisting in birthing) and all the daily cares and medications from the time they’re born until they are weaned to another farm - also medication administration for sick pigs, including injectables. I have experience and training done on caring for elderly horses. I have experience milking cows and caring for young calves. I have fostered and cared horses until they were able to find homes, which is always tough having to say goodbye and trust they are going to a good home. Out of all the animals in the world, my heart will always love dogs the most. I do enjoy having cats around, unfortunately I am allergic so I can’t have any of my own. But I love dogs with all my heart, I think it’s safe to say I love them more than people! I may be new to the state of Florida, but I have a lot of time and dedication to offer as I am a “stay at home wife” to a husband in the Navy. We will be in the area for the next 5 years, and I would love to meet some people and help with their pets in anyway I can! Even if it’s just a drop in visit so they don’t feels so alone for such a long stretch of the day. I am ready, able and willing to love and care for your dog just as you do! I have TWO letters of recommendation I can share from my previous employers as well. I am a wife to a husband is in the Navy, so anytime he’s gone, I would really love the company!! Currently looking for a part-time job here so I can easily accommodate to pet owners who need boarding services! I live in a secure apartment complex that has a gated parking lot and sidewalks, and a fenced in dog park. It’s very peaceful and quiet here but there’s other dogs to play with as well! I also spend a lot of time walking the beach on the Mayport Naval base and would be more than happy to get your dogs steps in somewhere besides the hot concrete! I don’t have any children yet, and my dog is back home on the farm in Minnesota - not pets here. Just my husband and I!

“It's difficult to put into words how wonderful Karen (and Bingo) were to our beloved Shih Tzu, Jamisen, while we were away for 10 days. It was our first time leaving her in several years and I was very worried with her being so small and used to only being the only dog. Karen and Bingo were so sweet and welcoming and Jamisen immediately felt comfortable with both of them. She sent regular text and picture updates and I actually didn't worry about Jamisen even once while we were away. When we had a last minute flight dilemma, Karen was so accommodating and made sure that Jamisen was well cared for for an additional day. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, you name it. I currently have two dogs and a cat, pet sit for neighbors, family, etc. I am a teacher, so currently off for the summer with a flexible schedule. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer and during the school year I am home by 2:30 on most days. I go in very early, so my husband does morning walk and breakfast with your dogs. If I am sitting it will be me doing all walks. We live in Atlantic Beach on a cul de sac, with a fenced back yard and lots of room. In the summer my day consists of yard work, gardening, and beach walks. Weekends are generally with my husband and friends. My dogs go for daily walks and pretty much follow me around all day! The cat either lays under the boat or on my daughter's bed depending on her nap schedule. Dogs get breakfast, a snack and dinner at 6:30 sharp and yak chews from the farmer's market as their treats. If house sitting I will do whatever the pet owners prefer.

About: I am joyful and love being active. I walk about 3 miles a day but if your dog is really active I usually double that and take him on a beautiful trail by my home. So plenty of time to get all that energy out for puppies and active dogs. I love dogs so much I want one but my landlord won't let me get one so I would like to continue my experience of loving on yours! :) Dogs and I usally bond instantly but the timid ones usually warm up within the day. I do little things like calm them and talk to them gently. And then when it's time to play I get really excited and usually play fetch or tug of war. I also give great baths and don't mind getting dirty so if that is what they need for the day, I'm your gal! :) * update please read* due to recent dog sitting I have to ask for vaccination records and proof that they are being treated for fleas. please understand that multiple dogs come to my home I cannot put it at risk for the other angels that visit. I think I have a strong base to take care of a pet appropriately. Plus we are a military family l, most likely you will find us on base! About: I'm the proud mama to 3 mutts: Bull/Terrier Mix, Kodak, & two Basset/Lab Mixes, Nikon & Fuji. I have always been a dog lover & have fully enjoyed dog-sitting & dog-walking for friends & family back in OKC, my hometown, & I can't wait to get to do the same for your fur-member here in JAX! About: I’ve taken care of my family dog since I was 15! I fully house trained her since she was a puppy and taught her all her tricks (the classic like sit, stay/come, speak, rollover). I have over 10 years experience with small dogs, and a few years of combined experience with larger dogs such as labs, pit-mixes, boxers, and even one giant Akita! I adopted a cat that I had the pleasure of caring for a few years- love snuggles or leaving her be when needed. I am a business owner and create my own schedule. When working with ACPS, dogs are kept 10ft away from all other animals when outside the shelter. About: Recently moved here from our family farm in central Minnesota, I have experience in working with a multitude of animals. Any animal from dogs to cattle, poultry to pigs and cats to horses! I have experience in dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family with or without being paid. I have a walker hound back home on the farm who loves to run around the farm and lives to hunt so changing his environment from the farm to an apartment didn’t seem fair to do. I miss him dearly, and have such a love for dogs, I would take them all home if I could! I also have experience working on a pig farm as a farrowing technician (assisting in birthing) and all the daily cares and medications from the time they’re born until they are weaned to another farm - also medication administration for sick pigs, including injectables. I have experience and training done on caring for elderly horses. I have experience milking cows and caring for young calves. I have fostered and cared horses until they were able to find homes, which is always tough having to say goodbye and trust they are going to a good home. Out of all the animals in the world, my heart will always love dogs the most. I do enjoy having cats around, unfortunately I am allergic so I can’t have any of my own. But I love dogs with all my heart, I think it’s safe to say I love them more than people! About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, you name it. I currently have two dogs and a cat, pet sit for neighbors, family, etc. I am a teacher, so currently off for the summer with a flexible schedule. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer and during the school year I am home by 2:30 on most days. I go in very early, so my husband does morning walk and breakfast with your dogs. If I am sitting it will be me doing all walks. We live in Atlantic Beach on a cul de sac, with a fenced back yard and lots of room. In the summer my day consists of yard work, gardening, and beach walks. Weekends are generally with my husband and friends. My dogs go for daily walks and pretty much follow me around all day! The cat either lays under the boat or on my daughter's bed depending on her nap schedule. Dogs get breakfast, a snack and dinner at 6:30 sharp and yak chews from the farmer's market as their treats. If house sitting I will do whatever the pet owners prefer.
