I also had a last minute request if he could cater to an additional evening sit service as I was running late to be home in time for his feeding and medications and Nathan accepted with no issue. He even brought in some packages that was delivered while I was away — Thank You! “Charlayda, or “Layda” recently took care of our 4 dogs—2 11-mo olds, who sleep in the garage, are trained to bathroom on puppy pads, and a 4 and 5 year old who are totally family members who sleep on beds, love the outdoors, and live to please people! We went away for a military graduation for 6 days, and were nervous to use a “service” but our friend could not stay here, so we took a leap of faith with Rover and Charlayda. When she came for a Meet and Greet 4 days before we were leaving, we immediately could tell we were with a lover of dogs, someone knowledable who all 4 dogs quickly “took to.” All of our fears about leaving went away as she asked questions and took the time to get to know specifics about all 4. While away, we received photos, videos, and texts as requested. When we returned home, all the dogs were calm, happy, sat for treats better than before!, and we could just tell that Layda had earned an A++++ in every way. We never thought we could leave all of them. We were proved wrong!! She’s superb. We’re now thinking about a weekend away, something we considered impossible before!! We’re so grateful!!”

About: At one point in time,my family and I had three dogs. We found one and made him a part of our family. One we got from the human society and the other was a puppy from a sibling. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and this is a great opportunity for all involved. My home is both warm and inviting. I’m at a point in my life that I need some excitement and dogs bring,not only fun but love and affection. I have an abundance of love that needs to be shared and I can provide dogs with that love. I also enjoy walking a dog or dogs. It’s great exercise plus it’s fun!I can't wait to get this ball rolling and see what comes of this opportunity. Thanks! I enjoy taking walks and can and will do it every morning and night. If I am with he/she on the weekends we will do adventures. I actually like to check in the dogs often even in a fenced yard to make sure he/she is safe and not into mischievous behavior.

About: Petcare is not just a job but a privilege for me. I will treat your fur babies as my own! I have loved animals all my life, have had many of my own over the years, and have been actively pet sitting for friends and clients across Jax for the past four years. I've watched pets with special dietary restrictions and have experience administering medicine/supplements to them. I've cared for both senior animals and young puppies. I'm active and can take dogs on extended walks and am happy to even take them on my favorite hiking trails around Jax if they're up for it. I'm retired so I have a very flexible schedule to give your pets plenty of attention, bathroom breaks, walks, or whatever else they need. I make sure to closely follow each owner's care instructions and try to keep your pet's regular routine to make them as comfortable as possible in your absence. I'm also happy to accommodate any idiosyncrasies or peculiar needs they may have (I have held umbrellas for dogs sensitive to the sun but love their time outside). I will treat your home with the utmost respect and am happy to water plants, take out trash, or do any other tasks that would be helpful while you're away. I create a safe, calm, and loving environment by supervising all pets closely, keeping spaces clean and secure, and following each owner’s care instructions to make sure every pet feels comfortable and protected.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 13 years old. I owned a Boston Terrier that was full of life and I now own a Golden Retriever with even more energy! My neighbors growing up knew me as the dog lover so I would be the to call when family or friends/neighbors were out of town whether it was boarding, dropping in during the day, or just taking their dog to release some energy while they were busy. I can be trusted up to walk, feed, and play with your four-legged child as if it were my own! I am currently working from home Monday through Friday. I work a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for play, potty, feeding, and walking. I have worked with animals that are both crate trained and not crate trained (my current baby is crate trained but my couch and bed are always open to them). My backyard is fenced with artificial turf. It is not super large but I live right next to a fenced in dog park that is perfect for socializing and energy release (literally 12 steps from my driveway). I am comfortable (if you are) with pets on my couch and/or bed. Or I am comfortable getting your pup inside of a crate as necessary.
