About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

About: My day job is as a wildlife biologist, and I have worked with everything from Japanese giant salamanders to gopher tortoises. I have watched pets for neighbors and friends for years and love dogs especially! I am free in evenings (5pm or later) and weekends pretty consistently (I work full time as a wildlife biologist during the day). Happy with long or short walks, even on hot days. I don't have any pets at home right now, but I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I am skilled at reading animal body language and always strive to make pets feel safe.

About: I’ve always had a strong passion for animals, and their welfare and enrichment is extremely important to me. I have multiple years of experience with newborn kittens and puppies, as well as senior animals. I know how to administer medication, and well as emergency procedures such as CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship—not just quick visits. I also enjoy being active, so walks and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to incorporating into my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing companionship, depending on their personality and energy level. I’m very mindful of their behavior and will keep an eye out for any changes in mood, appetite, or health. I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. After visits, I double-check doors, gates, and anything related to your pet’s safety. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for, and for you to feel completely comfortable trusting me in your home.

About: I’ve always been around animals since I was little, living on a small farm and growing up taking in four cats of my own! I currently work at home as an artist, so I am very flexible and able to accommodate during the summer until school starts back up for my son. About: I am a huge animal lover- I currently have a few cats and dogs (high energy Belgian malinois and huskies), as well as a dozen quail. Previously, I’ve had multiple birds, turtles, fish, and chickens! I am extremely experienced with all types of caregiving and love doing it! I regularly take my dogs to fast cats, any outdoors activity like paddle boarding, runs most mornings, etc! I have extensive experience dealing with dogs with various medical issues. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a severe case of Addison's disease, requiring daily medications. My other elderly dog has frequent seizures, so I am confident in my ability is caring for special case animals. I am available for sitting, walking, or overnight boarding at any time, any day! I have completely open availability including late nights or early mornings. Safety is the most important thing- I carry my own pet insurance that covers more than just rover's. While on walks, I do not allow dogs to meet other strangers or animals in any situation. I always carry spare leashes and an air horn.

“During my 2-week absence, Christian did a fabulous job caring for my cats Tommy and Coco. Because she was communicative and responsive, I experienced no anxiety about leaving them in her care. Christian sent me wonderful pictures and texts that reflected her extraordinary gift for compassionate caregiving. Tommy and Coco were obviously happy and stress free because Christian loved and cared for them as I do. My cats were literally crazy for her, as she spoiled them rotten. Amazingly, Tommy posed in pictures with Christian, as if she’d raised him from a kitten; and my skittish Coco, who normally hides from strangers, allowed Christian to regularly find her “hiding.” I give Christian my highest praise for a job exceptionally done. I could not have been more pleased. Not only is she professional and courteous, Christian has a phenomenal gift of spirit. For anyone seeking pet care of excellent quality, I would recommend Christian. In the future, she will be my first choice to care for my Tommy and Coco.”
