“Kenneth gave my pup plenty of love, cleaned up after an unfortunate accident (Puppyhood! Gotta love it), and sent lots of cute photos to make us feel comfortable. He took great care of her during his multiple visits today and he shows great care and love for other’s animals!”

“Sarah takes such good care of our boy even for little drop in visits! She was available last minute which we really appreciate! Cant wait to continue to book with her!”
“Listen please… Sarah is the best!!! She is so patient with my boy Kilian as he is a Doberman puppy. She is always constantly keeping me updated of his status and she is very instrumental in care for my precious ESA. This is the second week in which she is working with us, and I plan on only using her for my dogs care. She is very patient very insightful and I love her personality. If you are in the Webster/Friendswood area Sarah is the Dog sitter for you. Take my word for it!!”

About: I’m Avery, and I grew up with pets! I love animals so much, and I have always been willing to care for the pets of my neighbors, friends and family! I have four cats and one dog of my own, and I am their primary caregiver. I look forward to getting to know your furry family members! 🐱🐶 I will be able to do Drop In visits for your pets at certain points in the day. I currently work a part time job at Gretchen’s Hallmark, and I am enrolled in one collage class on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I have plenty of free time during most days and I’ll be able to drop in My personal pets mostly live in doors with some outside time throughout the day. My dog and kittens sleep in a crate at night so they don’t get into anything. I understand that it can be very particular where your pet is allowed to go. I have taken care of other people’s animals that must eat or sleep in certain rooms, or get crated up when unsupervised. I am always very careful to make sure each pet is where they need to be.
“Jamilla was a wonderful sitter to our three cats! She is very polite and kind. Always made us feel like our babies were well taken care of! We will be reaching out for Jamilla to watch our cats in the future :)”

“Mandy, thank you for loving on our pooch! 🐾 He is ALWAYS excited to see you—those happy photos say it all. Teddy-Duke says you’re officially family now! We truly appreciate how you always try to squeeze us in, even at a moment’s notice during emergencies. Your flexibility, kindness, and genuine care mean more to us than you know. We’re so grateful to have you and couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with our fur baby. Thank you for everything you do! 💛”

I’m willing to work around anyone’s schedule just shoot me a text. I’m not available on weekends. 🐱🐶 I can bring pets to a nearby dog park, or just a regular local park! I make sure to watch them and try to have them get comfortable with me
“Erika is calm, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She has been coming to my house to do midday drop ins for my two sighthounds. They are usually reserved around new people, but Erika won them over right away. Highly recommend!”

“Lindsey and Jose were amazing! I can't thank them enough for the way they took extra special care of our dogs. Their patience, communication, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond were impressive. We are so grateful and appreciative of them. Being away from my dogs caused me anxiety; Lindsey absolutely took the time to make me feel at ease and provided a ton of updates and pictures. We are excited to have people we can trust with our dogs moving forward and look forward to booking them again....thanks Lindsey and Jose!!!”

“Very good experience. This is my first time having a kitten and my first time being away for a couple days. Meghan was extremely punctual when meeting. The pictures she took of my kitten were the most cute and precious pictures. I felt great reassurance that she was ok. My kitten was a litttle stressed when returning, but I can tell from the pictures that Meghan gave great comfort to my kitten and I really appreciate it. Would recommend.”

About: I've had pets my whole life — dogs, cats, even gerbils — and animals have always just… gotten me. I'm the person who ends up on the floor with your dog ten minutes after arriving somewhere, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm Ben, a Jacksonville resident with a calm, patient energy and a lot of genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like they're the most important creature in the room — because honestly, they usually are. I understand that handing your pet to someone is an act of trust. I don't take that lightly. You'll get updates, photos, and an honest account of how your pet did. No sugarcoating, no drama — just real care. I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats who need their space respected, and the occasional small animal who just needs someone who won't freak out. Your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyed — not just watched. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm reliable: if I say I'll be there, I'll be there. I communicate proactively if anything changes, which in my experience is what pet owners actually need most. I'm a calm, quiet presence. No loud energy, no chaos. Animals tend to relax around me quickly probably because I'm genuinely more interested in them than most things happening in a room. I'm comfortable with cats who need their space, dogs who need reassurance, and the full spectrum in between.

About: What sets me apart: I bring the same reliability and attention to detail that I've built across 15+ years of professional work directly into every pet care engagement. Whether I'm following a detailed care routine for a senior dog on medication, reinforcing training cues for a young pup, or simply keeping anxious pets calm and comfortable while their people are away, I treat every animal like they're my own responsibility, because to your family, they are. What clients consistently come back to is trust. I've been granted unsupervised access to private homes and valuables across Jacksonville and Charleston for years, with zero incidents and a referral network built entirely on word-of-mouth. I don't just show up, I follow your instructions precisely, communicate proactively, and return your home exactly as you left it. I'm especially comfortable with: - Senior pets requiring medication schedules and low-stress routines - High-energy or highly trained dogs who need structure and consistency, not just a walk - Multi-pet households with varied species and care needs - Extended stays where full household management (mail, plants, security checks) is part of the job If you're looking for someone who treats pet sitting as a professional commitment rather than a side gig, I'd love to care for your family. Pet care isn't something I fit around my day — it's something I build my day around. I currently work part-time with full control over my schedule, which means your pet's walk times, feeding windows, and care routines come first. Every time. I plan my week intentionally, blocking time for client visits before scheduling anything else. Whether you need consistent midday walks or a sitter who will keep your home running smoothly while you're away, I treat your routine like a standing commitment — not a favor. Flexible, reliable, and always on time. Your pets won't know you're gone. At my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, structured environment. I have a securely fenced yard and a 65-lb rescue who has been consistently trained and socialized — he loves other dogs and makes a great host. I'm thoughtful about introductions, so I'll always want to know your dog's temperament and history before confirming a stay. Your pet's comfort comes before convenience. My experience with dogs spans a lifetime, not just a job listing. I was raised alongside Pekingese from puppyhood all the way through end-of-life care, so I understand what devoted, long-term companionship actually looks like. I've also lived with a highly active, strictly regimented Australian Cattle Dog, so high-drive, routine-dependent dogs don't intimidate me. They just require respect, consistency, and follow-through. In your home, I operate the same way: I follow your routines precisely, keep your space exactly as you left it, and treat every instruction like it matters, because it does.
About: First time booking on rover? Use my code to save $20! KENDRR12795 Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. My journey started with my first pet, Frenchie, a toy poodle, followed by my family’s German Shepherd, Snoopy, and now I’m the proud dog mom to Jazmine, my adorable mini Dachshund and certified cutie patootie! I’m the go to pet sitter for friends and family, whether that means house sitting so pups can stay comfy in their own home, taking long walks, or hosting playdates to help burn off extra energy. Since I work from home, your fur baby will get plenty of attention throughout the day. Jazmine's and my daily routine includes regular walks, outdoor time to keep up with neighborhood happenings, and a few fun dance breaks (yes, really!). I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule to make their stay as stress free as possible. When you book with me, I promise to care for your dog as if they were my own, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and videos along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! Pet care is already a seamless part of my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day rather than limiting care to mornings and evenings. During work hours, pups are typically with me in my home office or relaxing on the veranda, so they’re never left alone for long periods. Weekend care is just as flexible, allowing time for longer walks, playdates, and extra enrichment as needed. My day naturally includes regular walks, outdoor time to explore and stay engaged with the neighborhood, and interactive play (plus a few fun dance breaks!). I’m very mindful of maintaining each dog’s established routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions, to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. With a fenced-in yard and a friendly resident pup, dogs in my care get both companionship and a safe space to play. As an avid Rover user myself, I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your sitter and their home. I’d love to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.
“Mia was absolutely great! She worked with me quickly when I had a last minute emergency, was easy to work with, and was such a professional. She made leaving my pup as easy as possible and as comfortable as can be. Mia is kind, communicative, and cares about your pets as much as her own. My dog, Doak, loved her and was so well taken care of. I would recommend Mia to anyone looking and will continue to book with her in the future!”

“Michael is my backup who shows up when I need him most. He’s reliable, flexible, and calm, even on last-minute requests. Always professional and kind, exactly who i need watching my baby girl! He’s great, 10 out of 10.”

About: I've had pets all my life, there's not a moment in my life where I never had a pet. I love animals and having the opportunity to make them happy makes me happy. I have 3 dogs of different sizes and personalities and one cat who loves being loved. Everyday I feed my pets and walk my dogs ensuring they get as much activity as possible. I like to go over the pet's care routine laid out by the owners making sure to keep detailed notes. I walk the dogs whether it be a particular length of time or desired route.
“Victoria has been dropping in on my 2 girls for the past few weeks and things have been going great so far. Thankful we found her to help us during one of our babies puppy stage.”

About: I have been a Vet tech since 2013. I have a very friendly English bulldog Mabeline and a Belgian malinois named Greta. My 3 yr old son named Jackson loves all the dogs he gets to meet. Every-time I bring home a sick/foster pet, my human and fur child are so excited so I figure it would be a great way for them to have some play time but also fun for me because I get to enjoy all the different personalities and breeds. As a veterinary technician, I have experience with all ages and am comfortable administering medications in any form along with knowing symptoms and signs to be aware of. Your pet will be in good hands when they come stay with me. I hope you give us a chance! O recently decided to stay home full time with my kids but still have that skill and knowledge to provide the care your pets need. I have a big fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. I have a crate if needed for your pet so they have a safe space to get away if they want. My dog is always willing to share her bed and your pet can sleep and relax wherever they feel comfortable.
Normandy Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
I tend to get very worried about leaving my sweet old lady alone. Sarah made me feel comfy right away at the meet and greet (still love that cute puppy shirt hahaha). While she was hanging out with Sylvia, she took lots of pictures and videos, kept me updated the whole time she was there, and just made me feel so much better about the entire situation. I'll definitely use her again!

Jamilla took great care of my Aussie pup Willow! She was available on short notice and put my nerves at ease by providing my little girl potty breaks and play time while I was at work. I was very pleased with the quality of service she provided and highly recommend.

I had a great experience with this dog sitter and would highly recommend her. She paid close attention to every detail and made sure all of my dogs’ routines and needs were followed perfectly. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and took the time to make them feel comfortable. My dogs absolutely loved her and were excited to see her each day. Knowing they were in such caring and attentive hands gave me complete peace of mind while I was away.

This is the second time we’ve booked Pam to take care of our animals and she is wonderful. She even changed our cats’ litter box for us! She’s truly a reliable sitter and very communicative. Pam is the best and will make sure your fur babies are taken care of!

Angelina is always wonderful with our animals! She is always attentive, reliable, and clearly cares about our pets like her own. We always get regular updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we are away. Highly recommend and will always book with her!

Hampton is so wonderful! My (normally shy) cat trusts him and is totally comfortable with him which is such a treat and a testament to Hampton’s gentleness. Hampton is always so communicative and lovely and provides the best updates. He even goes so far as to tidy up litter box and take out trash, which I so appreciate! I will continue booking him as long as he’s able to!
