“Sarah is an absolute gem! We had our regular cat sitter cancel at short notice (less than a week before our holiday!). I frantically went on Rover and found Sarah. I chose her because she had glowing reviews, responded promptly and was very warm during our meet and greet. This was our first holiday away from our cat and for over 2 weeks so I was an anxious mess! During our time away Sarah communicated regularly with us and sent photos everyday and videos too. She really helped to calm my nerves. Our cat is anxious and skittish by nature. She is the sweetest cuddliest bug with us but she wasn’t nice to Sarah at all! There was a lot of hissing, growling and swatting. But Sarah was patient, gentle and persistent with our grumpy gremlin. She had great strategies she employed to keep our cat entertained, fed and content. We returned home to an excited, well fed and happy cat. It’s a testament to Sarah’s skills, temperament and love of animals that our cat was totally unfazed being left alone at home for the first time. I will not hesitate to use Sarah again and recommend her to others. She will be a regular sitter for us now & hopefully our cat will be better behaved in future!”

My dog and kittens sleep in a crate at night so they don’t get into anything. I understand that it can be very particular where your pet is allowed to go. I have taken care of other people’s animals that must eat or sleep in certain rooms, or get crated up when unsupervised. I am always very careful to make sure each pet is where they need to be.
