About: My experience includes 20+ years of pet ownership, 10+ years of dog walking on a part time basis in the Riverside/Avondale area. We can walk at a fast pace, if requested by your dog. Or we can lazily meander our way around the neighborhood. We can also play games like fetch, tug, hide and seek, etc., and practice basic obedience with rewards like treats or play. I have a long leash we can use as well if requested, which I find is a nice way to allow the dogs to explore more freely in less busy areas like parks or backstreets. At the moment I am doing a few different types of gig work, so my schedule is flexible and I may be able to accept bookings with very short notice. When walking dogs, I usually attach their leash to my body using a hands free leash mechanism as an extra safety measure and to allow myself to walk more easily at a faster pace, if the dog is up for that. Generally, I will maintain a safe distance from other dogs (and cats) walking around to be sure that no incidences occur. Except to send you updates, I will not use my phone while with your dog. My attention will remain on your dog and the walk. Otherwise, it is important for me that I am patient and gentle with all dogs in my care and that I do not make them feel uneasy or anxious on our walk.

About: My day job is as a wildlife biologist, and I have worked with everything from Japanese giant salamanders to gopher tortoises. I have watched pets for neighbors and friends for years and love dogs especially! I am free in evenings (5pm or later) and weekends pretty consistently (I work full time as a wildlife biologist during the day). Happy with long or short walks, even on hot days. I don't have any pets at home right now, but I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I am skilled at reading animal body language and always strive to make pets feel safe.

I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. About: I’ve been around pets (mostly dogs) since I was about 10. From family pets to friends pets, life is just better with them in it. I work a hybrid work schedule. Usually WFH on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office Tuesday-Thursday from 9-4 in Frisco. I can be pretty flexible within reason! I live in an apartment complex that has two dog parks, recently upgraded. I live off the Katy trail so I walk at least 3 miles nearly every day if your pup loves exercise!! I let pets on the furniture, and don’t mind sharing my bed. I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible while away from you.

About: Whether your companions need feeding rituals, city strolls, running, playtime, cuddles and puddles, meds, or time to run the fields (eh um... backyard), I follow your routine and details. I also take care of the home: watering plants, tending the garden, tidying up, and handling any house and yard specifics that just can't wait. You get peace of mind while you're away. Having lived in cities and on farms, I'm comfortable with most pets: dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, and small furries. I've also bottle-fed and cared for baby animals and other high-needs pets. Every mama needs a break once in a while. Depending on your routine needs, I'll generally fit my schedule around yours and/or talk about the plan with you. For nearby visits 10-15 min away, multiple times a day is possible since my schedule can be worked out. For more involved or more rural visits that require more time or need constant or overnight care, please let me know your needs and we'll discuss and agree on the schedule that works. For a house sitting assignment, I generally need to make sure I have somewhere to work on my computer for my remote job and clarify other living arrangements if that is part of the house sitting requirements. I can plan to be there during the day/night as needed, and expect to come and go as if I were living there (get groceries, run an errand) making sure to not be gone for more than the agreed upon amount of hours away based on any pet care needs. I prefer to care for your animals in your home and require a meet-n-greet before your first visit to make sure we're compatible and that I can perform all the details safely in your absence. At the time when I'm expected to care for your pets and/home, I'm expecting to be the only human in the home and that you can rely on me while you're away. At all times, I need a well-lit safe way to enter and exit. It's important to discuss the security of your property with me so that any doors, alarm systems, keys, lights, cameras, utilities, gates, etc. are known and there is a responsible plan for them. I have a series of questions when we meet to get to know your fur babies to know how you expect them to behave and their typical reactions when walking, socializing or other specifics in the home like a favorite object, toy or calming place. For dogs, I like to know their favorite things on walks and their not so favorite areas. If possible, I would love to walk the path with you that you normally take for first time clients.

About: I have grown up taking care of all kinds of animals-dogs, cats, chickens, & rabbits to name a few- and love being around them! I have experience with puppies and older/disabled dogs alike. I regularly have multiple 1-2 hour breaks in my work day that I would love to fill with dog walks or drop-ins. I am very active and love getting outside! I am happy to feed, crate, play with, walk, and let out any animals that you may have. I travel with some enrichment toys as well!

I owned two reptiles back in Alaska so I have experience. If you need a reliable person who is good with all animals, give me a shout! I am currently living a life of freedom and nature loving. I travel around the world in my camper van and take care of pets all across the way. I would be more than happy to stay with your pet while you were away as well if that would make both the owner and the pet more comfortable. I would be willing to stay at no extra charge. I am incredibly flexible with the care of any pet and I will follow the owners instructions as directed to make sure their pet friend does not have a disturbed routine. If your pup needs time to play outside, I would be happy to exercise them as needed. I can feed as many times a day as needed and can provide regular care.

Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I take the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I'm especially patient with shy, anxious, or senior pets and believe they deserve gentle, compassionate care. Whether it's keeping your pet active with walks and playtime or simply keeping them company and maintaining their routine, I'll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're apart. I also speak fluent Spanish, some Portuguese I do work a full time job as an optician (15 years) but looking into going to college for animal pshycology and behavior. Im available mostly weekends right now and some weekdays. My happiest is when I'm surrounded with animals since I grew up in a farm in PR it's been my dream to create a sanctuary for all animals. Right now not offering services in my home. I share my home with my sweet dog, Alice, who has taught me a great deal about patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding different personalities. And my beautiful affectionate senior cat, ophilia, who can't get enough cuddles and treats ❤️
