About: I have cared for many animals over the past 18 years while managing a pet resort. I have also walked dogs during my lunch hour. I recently retired after 18 years in veterinary medicine and managing pet resort. I have always loved animals and have 6 dogs of my own. I have a 6 foot fenced yard and have 6 dogs of my own. My dogs are dog friendly and go to daycare often and play.

About: My day job is as a wildlife biologist, and I have worked with everything from Japanese giant salamanders to gopher tortoises. I have watched pets for neighbors and friends for years and love dogs especially! I am free in evenings (5pm or later) and weekends pretty consistently (I work full time as a wildlife biologist during the day). Happy with long or short walks, even on hot days. I don't have any pets at home right now, but I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I am skilled at reading animal body language and always strive to make pets feel safe.

So i am very comfortable caring for special needs animals who may need medicine and special care! About: I've been taking care of animals all my life. I grew up with 2 German Sheppards and a shitzu, so I'm familiar with taking care of large and small breeds. All fur-babies are welcome with me. I currently have a 2 year old Border Collie. If your pup needs a play-mate in a safe closed in space, this is the sport to bring her to! Astrid will bounce around all day in our fenced in yard. We provide frequent trips outside mixed with cozy naps in their own room inside. I'm experienced with the basics - feeding, watering, walking. I'm able to administer medication if needed. We would love to take care of your baby while your away! Im typically off 4 days a week, during which I'll be home all day to take care of your baby, and my husband works from home so he's also available on the other days. I have a fenced in yard, a 2 year old Border Collie, and one cat. We have a spare bedroom available just for our furry guests.

About: Whether your companions need feeding rituals, city strolls, running, playtime, cuddles and puddles, meds, or time to run the fields (eh um... backyard), I follow your routine and details. I also take care of the home: watering plants, tending the garden, tidying up, and handling any house and yard specifics that just can't wait. You get peace of mind while you're away. Having lived in cities and on farms, I'm comfortable with most pets: dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, and small furries. I've also bottle-fed and cared for baby animals and other high-needs pets. Every mama needs a break once in a while. Depending on your routine needs, I'll generally fit my schedule around yours and/or talk about the plan with you. For nearby visits 10-15 min away, multiple times a day is possible since my schedule can be worked out. For more involved or more rural visits that require more time or need constant or overnight care, please let me know your needs and we'll discuss and agree on the schedule that works. For a house sitting assignment, I generally need to make sure I have somewhere to work on my computer for my remote job and clarify other living arrangements if that is part of the house sitting requirements. I can plan to be there during the day/night as needed, and expect to come and go as if I were living there (get groceries, run an errand) making sure to not be gone for more than the agreed upon amount of hours away based on any pet care needs. I prefer to care for your animals in your home and require a meet-n-greet before your first visit to make sure we're compatible and that I can perform all the details safely in your absence. At the time when I'm expected to care for your pets and/home, I'm expecting to be the only human in the home and that you can rely on me while you're away. At all times, I need a well-lit safe way to enter and exit. It's important to discuss the security of your property with me so that any doors, alarm systems, keys, lights, cameras, utilities, gates, etc. are known and there is a responsible plan for them. I have a series of questions when we meet to get to know your fur babies to know how you expect them to behave and their typical reactions when walking, socializing or other specifics in the home like a favorite object, toy or calming place. For dogs, I like to know their favorite things on walks and their not so favorite areas. If possible, I would love to walk the path with you that you normally take for first time clients.

About: I have grown up taking care of all kinds of animals-dogs, cats, chickens, & rabbits to name a few- and love being around them! I have experience with puppies and older/disabled dogs alike.
