About: Hi! I’m Diane, and I’ve been caring for animals for about 15 years. I’ve had pets of my own for most of my life and have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need lots of play and patience to older pets who would rather have a slower walk and some company on the couch. I genuinely love animals and tend to treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, dependable, very attentive to their routines and behavior, and I’m more than happy to provide plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. My schedule is currently very flexible, so I’m available for pet care throughout the day and evening. About: Over the past several years, my family and I have worked with organizations including St. Hubert’s, SPCA, Rosemary’s Dogs, and Rogers’ Rescues. “Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I am a huge animal lover- I currently have a few cats and dogs (high energy Belgian malinois and huskies), as well as a dozen quail. Previously, I’ve had multiple birds, turtles, fish, and chickens! I am extremely experienced with all types of caregiving and love doing it! I regularly take my dogs to fast cats, any outdoors activity like paddle boarding, runs most mornings, etc! I have extensive experience dealing with dogs with various medical issues. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a severe case of Addison's disease, requiring daily medications. My other elderly dog has frequent seizures, so I am confident in my ability is caring for special case animals. I am available for sitting, walking, or overnight boarding at any time, any day! I have completely open availability including late nights or early mornings. Safety is the most important thing- I carry my own pet insurance that covers more than just rover's. While on walks, I do not allow dogs to meet other strangers or animals in any situation. I always carry spare leashes and an air horn.

About: Dogs have been a part of my family since my very first memory. I grew up with small dachshunds, large muts, and athletic weimaraners. They've always had a piece of my heart. So when I moved away from home in 2003, I started dog sitting for friends and family. About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. For a house sitting assignment, I generally need to make sure I have somewhere to work on my computer for my remote job and clarify other living arrangements if that is part of the house sitting requirements. I prefer to care for your animals in your home and require a meet-n-greet before your first visit to make sure we're compatible and that I can perform all the details safely in your absence. At the time when I'm expected to care for your pets and/home, I'm expecting to be the only human in the home and that you can rely on me while you're away. At all times, I need a well-lit safe way to enter and exit. It's important to discuss the security of your property with me so that any doors, alarm systems, keys, lights, cameras, utilities, gates, etc. are known and there is a responsible plan for them. I have a series of questions when we meet to get to know your fur babies to know how you expect them to behave and their typical reactions when walking, socializing or other specifics in the home like a favorite object, toy or calming place. For dogs, I like to know their favorite things on walks and their not so favorite areas. If possible, I would love to walk the path with you that you normally take for first time clients.
