During work hours, pups are typically with me in my home office or relaxing on the veranda, so they’re never left alone for long periods. Weekend care is just as flexible, allowing time for longer walks, playdates, and extra enrichment as needed. My day naturally includes regular walks, outdoor time to explore and stay engaged with the neighborhood, and interactive play (plus a few fun dance breaks!). I’m very mindful of maintaining each dog’s established routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions, to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. With a fenced-in yard and a friendly resident pup, dogs in my care get both companionship and a safe space to play. “Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hi there! My name is Kate and my husband's name is Josh. We have both been pet owners our entire lives and absolutely love caring for other pets as well as our own 3 (G + Sadie + Toby — Chihuahua Mix + Rat Terrier + Jack Russel Terrier). We own a home in Jacksonville just off 295 on the west side with a large fenced-in backyard and quiet neighborhood. So lots of walking, running around and play time if you were to have your pet stay here with us and our 3 pups! Our babies are typically social but at the very least tolerant of other dogs as long as the dog is not too hyper or trying to mess with them. My husband and I both work from home so your baby(s) will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (less than 30 pounds, some exceptions - feel free to ask). Your dog(s) must get along with other dogs or at least tolerate them. All dogs are separated at feeding times. We are used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. With our flexible schedule, we will have plenty of time to walk, play and/or love your pet(s). Our home is extremely safe and doors are always locked (even when we are home). Our neighbors are all extremely nice. Our dogs typically lay on the couch, in their dog beds in our office or on our bed. All get lots of love, pets and treats every day 🙂

About: I am a stay at home student with lots of time to spare for any pet company. I am mostly found at home with my doggo Appa so we would definitely have a great time when boarded. I do not work and go to college online so besides school work, I have all my time available for any doggo. Even when I am busy I will still be home to give them all my attention.
