“Jada was great with both our dogs, she was especially good with our puppy who was a little timid at first but they seemed to really warm up to her fast. We are really glad to have found Jada, we will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve always had a strong passion for animals, and their welfare and enrichment is extremely important to me. I have multiple years of experience with newborn kittens and puppies, as well as senior animals. I know how to administer medication, and well as emergency procedures such as CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship—not just quick visits. I also enjoy being active, so walks and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to incorporating into my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing companionship, depending on their personality and energy level. I’m very mindful of their behavior and will keep an eye out for any changes in mood, appetite, or health. I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. After visits, I double-check doors, gates, and anything related to your pet’s safety. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for, and for you to feel completely comfortable trusting me in your home.

About: I've had pets my whole life — dogs, cats, even gerbils — and animals have always just… gotten me. I'm the person who ends up on the floor with your dog ten minutes after arriving somewhere, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm Ben, a Jacksonville resident with a calm, patient energy and a lot of genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like they're the most important creature in the room — because honestly, they usually are. I understand that handing your pet to someone is an act of trust. I don't take that lightly. You'll get updates, photos, and an honest account of how your pet did. No sugarcoating, no drama — just real care. I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats who need their space respected, and the occasional small animal who just needs someone who won't freak out. Your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyed — not just watched. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm reliable: if I say I'll be there, I'll be there. I communicate proactively if anything changes, which in my experience is what pet owners actually need most. I'm a calm, quiet presence. No loud energy, no chaos. Animals tend to relax around me quickly probably because I'm genuinely more interested in them than most things happening in a room. I'm comfortable with cats who need their space, dogs who need reassurance, and the full spectrum in between.

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s sticking to a senior dog’s routine, keeping up with an energetic pup, or helping a nervous pet feel safe while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about your pets, I’d love to help. Whether you need consistent midday walks or a sitter who will keep your home running smoothly while you're away, I treat your routine like a standing commitment not a favor. Flexible, reliable, and always on time. Your pets won't know you're gone. My experience with dogs spans a lifetime, not just a job listing. I was raised alongside Pekingese from puppyhood all the way through end-of-life care, so I understand what devoted, long-term companionship actually looks like. I've also lived with a highly active, strictly regimented Australian Cattle Dog, so high-drive, routine-dependent dogs don't intimidate me. They just require respect, consistency, and follow-through.
“Mandy is absolutely phenomenal. I have nothing but great things to say about her and how she cares for my Hazy, always giving love to my cats too! She is incredibly responsive and reliable. I’m really happy to have found her and have a dog walker this great to rely on. 🩷🩷🩷”

About: My family and I love animals. I enjoy taking our dog to the dog park and cuddling with our kitten. They are both friendly with other pets. I will be sure to give your fur baby the attention and love needed while you are away. My schedule is quite accommodating for pet owners. I work night shift so I am able to take care of your pet during the day and I work in 4 day shifts. Meaning when I schedule for visits I am off for a specific number of days and can provide full time care. I have a large enough house and fenced in back yard to separate animals and give them the space and roaming freedom they need. I ensure safety and trust.
About: I started my own dog walking business at the age of 12, it was a business I continued throughout college, of course my rates have gone up since then! I have experience with dogs, cats and some reptiles from babies to seniors. I am currently working remote, so my schedule is very flexible. I can check in on your family members with walking/feeding/playtime/cleaning while you are away as needed. I know what it is like to leave behind your furry friend. I can provide FaceTime calls or pictures if needed. I’m only a phone call/text away! No request is too big, I understand how it feels to leave behind your pet. It is my mission to give animals in my care the best possible service while their parents are away! I would love to give my time and attention to those who need it. If you would like a reference, please don’t hesitate to ask!
“Brianna is fantastic. Lady has taken to her like a duck to water. She and lady get along very well together. I highly recommend Brianna for any other clients who want someone to walk their baby who truly cares about their pets”

About: I’m pretty active so your dog will be getting enough exercise, especially here with such beautiful weather, unless your dog likes to lounge around or can only do short walks. I do have previous experience working with animals in animal shelters and as a veterinary assistant, so I am able to medicate your dog if necessary or required. I am also able to handle puppies of all sizes and energies. I have a dog of my own, who is really friendly with other dogs and would keep your dog company on our walks. I also speak Spanish for anyone who is not native in English. I'm also open to doing drop-ins for cats as well or any other animals you may have! I hope u choose me as ur walker!
About: I have 7 dogs, 4 cats, and 3 guineas pigs here at home, so I have a lot of experience with many kinds of animals, all shapes and sizes. I can deal with any type of breed, and any type of pet (snakes, bearded dragons, etc.). I can walk, feed, and spend lots of time with the animals if needed. I prefer watching the animals at the client's home, since I have so many animals already. This job sounds perfect for me because I love animals so much, and it has a flexible schedule. Since I do have many animals at home, I am not able to stay over night at houses. However, I am able to stay late (11pm) and arrive early (7am) if needed. In my own home, we rotate the dogs outside every 45 minutes. We feed our animals at 7 am and 12 pm. I can adjust to any schedule recommended by the client. We work our dogs a bit different since there are so many.
About: Big Star Pet Care was started after my wife and I’s beloved senior dog of 10 years passed. I referred to him as my “Big Star” and through caring for others’ pets shortly after his loss, I found comfort and companionship. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. After all, they are your Biggest Star and deserve to be treated as such even when you are away! I've taken care of many animals from: cats and dogs to ferrets, rats, snakes, geckos, birds, hamsters and most recently- toads. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I have experience with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. I am comfortable giving baths and can administer oral medication if needed. Thank you for considering Big Star Pet Services, I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). Gabrielle works full time but my only sources of employment are Rover and a M-F 3 hour/day babysitting gig from 1-4pm, so I am home plenty to provide attention, care, exercise and enrichment. For times I have to be away from the home, I have pet cams installed with notifications for movement, barking, etc. and can speak to pets through the cam. I try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. I offer drop ins, walking, overnight house sitting and boarding at my home. However, I do not accept more than one family at my home at one time in order to ensure your pet(s) receive the utmost care and attention while you are away. I live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, my wife who happily assists with pet care and keeping a 2nd set of eyes on your furry friends and a second set of hands to pet, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 5 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. I can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the utmost care and attention as well as a space comfortable to them. I am dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross.
