About: We're a two-Lab household (Finn and Sirius) with a cat, so your pet will be joining a calm, structured home. We raised both dogs (and are still raising one) from a puppy through teething, crate training, and all the impulse-control work, and we're working toward careers in dog training, so we pay close attention to body language and keep routines consistent. We've both had cats our whole lives too, so we know how to give them space and notice when they're stressed. That goes for drop-in visits or cats meeting the dogs at home. The biggest difference from a kennel: we only take one guest dog at a time. Your dog gets real one-on-one attention from two people, not a spot in a pack. We both work full-time from home, so your pet is part of our day, not something we fit in around it. Someone's always nearby, potty breaks happen regularly, and meals or meds go out on time. Since we're home, we don't have strict drop-off or pick-up times. Just let us know your flight or travel plans and we'll work around them. For drop-ins and walks, we can come by early morning, midday, or late afternoon/evening. Keeping pets safe and relaxed comes first in how we run our home. Your dog gets their own room for sleeping, eating, and downtime. If they want to hang out with our two Labs, great. If they'd rather have quiet time or skip other dogs entirely, we'll keep them separate and plan the day around that. Our yard is fully fenced, with double doors at the entrances so nobody slips out. But we don't think a yard alone is enough for a happy dog, so your pup will also get regular solo walks around the neighborhood. If they're comfortable with it, we'll bring them along on outings too, riding safely crated or buckled in. For drop-ins at your place, we keep your keys and lockbox info secure and follow your feeding and medication instructions exactly. You'll get photos and an update after every visit or boarding day.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life.. I have been the sole owner/operator for the past 10 years of a local pet sitting & walking business. I have taken care of all types and sizes of dogs, from small chihuahua size to small or large laberdoodles to great danes. I have experience in working with dogs who are stubborn eaters, and regular age dogs to senior dogs who require medication and extra care. My rates are very competitive. From a $35 daily walk/check in while at work or have a longer event to attend to a standard overnight which includes a 10 hour overnight stay, like 8pm-6am with 1 mid day potty/meal break which is $85 If you need a longer overnight stay like 20 hours round the clock/constant concierge care at your house then the rate will be $100 per night. I have a fabulous list of references from clients that have been with me for anywhere from 4 to the full 10 years in operation. I'm currently only doing 1 weekly dog walking job, unfortunately due to the heartbreaking recent loss of one of my longest daily walking and sitting clients. My current daily walking job is only 3 days a week, any 3 days between M-F and is only for 30/35 mins and can be done anytime between 11am to 3pm. The rest of the time I am currently available and due to the flexibility of the current job, I have a very open availability. I only take dogs on leashed walks and during temperatures that are safe for the dog's health. I'm very respectful of what the parents want and specific details for the happiness of their dog. I'm very attentive when I'm with the dog to make sure they are safe at all times. I do in client's home sitting for almost all my clients, and they live it. They will verify trustworthiness, loyalty and respect of their home. I also trying to make it affordable compared to the average median for Jacksonville, FL.
