About: I’ve always had a strong passion for animals, and their welfare and enrichment is extremely important to me. I have multiple years of experience with newborn kittens and puppies, as well as senior animals. I know how to administer medication, and well as emergency procedures such as CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship—not just quick visits. I also enjoy being active, so walks and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to incorporating into my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m very mindful of their behavior and will keep an eye out for any changes in mood, appetite, or health. I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. “Karla’s the best! My dog loves her. He has severe periodontal disease and numerous other conditions and despite his issues she loves and cuddles with him just as I would. Over his almost 14 year lifespan I’ve left him with numerous sitters and she’s the only one I’ve felt good about leaving him with. I have her stay at my home and she treats the place like it’s her own or maybe even better. For me, having someone I fully trust to love and care for my little one is key. My only reservation in writing this recommendation is that I don’t want her to be booked when we need her. :)”

I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

It was Brownie’s first stay as an only dog as his sister recently passed the rainbow bridge so we were nervous about leaving him for so many days but Mandy eased the worry. She took many photos and gave regular updates. We will 100 percent use her again.”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with them and can happily accommodate their needs. I’m ready to help out in any way that I can, and my schedule is very flexible! My schedule is extremely flexible, I’m never away from home for more than a couple hours at a time, so your pet will get lots of quality time and attention. I have a fenced yard so your dog will have lots of space to play, but will always be leashed and supervised. There’s also a dog park down the road from me for additional playtime and social time if your pet prefers! The house is already pet-proofed and dogs are welcome on the couch and in the bed.

She kept us updated the whole time on how he was and sent photos and pictures to us. She even filmed our pup opening his Christmas gift since we were away for the holiday. Went we came back our house was just as we left it and clean. She even put our recycling and trash at the curb for us. She also left a note and cute little chalkboard for when we got home.
