About: I worked in the dog grooming industry for 20 years. I've bathed and walked every kind of dog! I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. About: I’ve always had a strong passion for animals, and their welfare and enrichment is extremely important to me. I have multiple years of experience with newborn kittens and puppies, as well as senior animals. I know how to administer medication, and well as emergency procedures such as CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship—not just quick visits. I also enjoy being active, so walks and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to incorporating into my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing companionship, depending on their personality and energy level. I’m very mindful of their behavior and will keep an eye out for any changes in mood, appetite, or health. I also respect your home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. After visits, I double-check doors, gates, and anything related to your pet’s safety. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me.
