I was honestly so nervous about leaving my puppy because she’s still so little, but Alyssa made the entire experience so stress-free and reassuring. I even have a little pet camera facing my puppy’s crate, and seeing Alyssa playing with, cuddling, and spending time with her all day made me feel so much better. About: Every animal has a unique personality. During our time together, I love discovering shared interests with your pets so we both have a genuinely fun experience. Animals are exceptionally intuitive and pick up on our energies, which is why I always bring my calmest, happiest, and most present self to every interaction. I own a pet care business called George Sits LLC in Jacksonville, and I am looking to fill my books! I would leave only to stop in on other pets nearby who may also be in my care. I have multiple years working and volunteering at boarding facilities and shelters, and I have never been petless myself. About: Caring for your furry children like family while you’re away! Hi! I’m Carter. I was blessed with my dog Ruger as I graduated high school 6 years ago. Since then, Ruger and I both graduated from Florida State University, where he was our fraternity house dog. After recently relocating to Jacksonville Beach, I am now available for all your pet sitting needs. I work remotely during the week and am available for pop-ins, overnight stays, or extended vacations. Located right near the beach, I can easily make it over to Jacksonville metro on short time frames. I treat everyone’s pets like my own. As a dog owner myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your furry ones behind, and aim to ease that by devoting my time to give you peace of mind.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. I grew up with my family dog, Beethoven, and enjoyed everything from daily walks and trips to the beach to teaching him basic commands like sit and fetch. I love spending quality time with dogs, whether that’s going on long walks, playing outside, or relaxing on the couch. Every dog has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know each one while making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I also have experience with cats! Ive lived with 3 cats for about 10 years. One who which was a senior and required oral medications that I assisted with. I’m currently a new graduate nursing student studying for my NCLEX while working part-time at a hospital. My schedule is flexible, especially on my days off, and I update my availability regularly. I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting whenever my schedule allows! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications they may need. I have experience giving medications to both dogs and cats under their owner’s instructions and will always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.

About: I specialize in high energy and high anxiety dogs. I have taken care of dogs of many ages from puppies to seniors. I currently don’t have pets of my own but I grew up and have owned dogs and cats throughout my life. My work schedule is flexiable and I make my own hours. I would work with the client and see what are their needs and I would tailor my schedule based around that. I will build trust with the pet first. Follow instructions of the client and work with the pet and make sure it’s needs are taken care off.

“Abby was fantastic! I have two large dogs that can be very picky about who they allow in the house. When Abby came over for the meet and greet, they quickly warmed up to her. Once it came time for her overnight stay, she was fantastic with communication. Throughout the whole stay, I felt very confident with her ability to take care of and understand my dogs’ body language. It took my dogs a whole year of knowing our previous dog sitter to jump onto the bed with her— with Abby, they jumped onto her bed for pets right away! I would absolutely recommend Abby to anyone who wants a trusting, communicative, detailed, and dog lover sitter!”

About: Ever since I was little, I have a huge heart for dogs. It wasn’t until I was 10 that I finally had a family dog, and from then on dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.
