About: I raised my Great Dane Alf from a puppy when I was just 24 years old to almost 37. I did everything for him, including scheduled feedings, diapers, injections, timed medications, you name it. I miss my boy and want to make new friends. The dog in my picture is my “nephew” Elvis. Also, I go by my middle name Nichole. Not sure why Rover won’t let me change it? I am new to this app, so give me some grace in figuring this all out. I am more than capable of loving your fur babies though! I currently stay at home. I’m very shy and quiet, and prefer to stay in. I enjoy the company of animals most! I’m really hoping I can make this work as an income source for myself. My yard is fenced, but missing the porch railing currently. I’d be able to supervise good boys and girls back there off leash, or on leash depending on their trustability and escape skills. My boy Alf had no interest in escaping, hence why the porch has not been fixed yet. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you have with your pets! Just let me know.

About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. I also have veterinary technician and shelter experience, along with hands-on experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, reinforcing basic puppy training, and supporting animals with special routines, anxieties, or medical needs. I’m currently working with one of my own dogs in service dog training, and I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who previously worked with pre-K children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Both experiences have strengthened my understanding of behavioral reinforcement, nonverbal communication, patience, routine, trust-building, and adapting to different personalities and emotional needs. In many ways, both children and animals communicate heavily through energy, body language, consistency, and feeling emotionally safe, and I’ve found those skills help me connect especially well with animals of all temperaments. I’m also an avid walker and love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through the beautiful Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, local parks, and nearby green spaces — especially when the weather cools down a bit. For more active dogs, I genuinely enjoy playtime, walks, fetch, and engagement throughout the day, while calmer pets usually find me just as happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a peaceful environment. Because I operate my design company remotely and on my own schedule, I’m often able to spend extended time in the home providing companionship, supervision, structure, affection, and a calming presence throughout the day and overnight — not just quick drop-ins. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. Because I own and operate my own boutique design firm, my schedule is highly flexible and allows me to work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. I’m also involved in tween mentorship and creative consulting, both of which I manage on my own schedule, making it easy for me to prioritize the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I’m naturally both an early riser and a night owl, so I’m available for early morning feedings and walks, late-night potty breaks, overnight companionship, medication schedules, and pets who simply feel more secure having someone nearby throughout the day and evening. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy the companionship, structure, and calm presence animals bring. Whether I’m working quietly from my laptop while keeping your pet company, taking breaks for walks and playtime, or providing attentive overnight care, I’m able to give pets far more presence and consistency than many traditional sitters with rigid work schedules. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. About: Ever since I was little animals have been part of my life. Until 2019 I decided to add two new babies into my own family. I have one dog and one cat they will be turn 7 this year. I’m very proud of what I’ve learned through the process of teaching my animal the basics as well as the advanced tricks. I usually take my dog out every 2-3 hours, walk him twice a week and feed him twice a day since his a growing boy. About: Hello. I am a lifelong dog owner and dog carer. I have owned a Brittany Spaniel, and a Shischon from puppy-stage through the end of their lives. Currently I care for a senior Lab and middle-aged German Shephard/Rotweiler mix, both belonging to my daughter who lives in Jacksonville with her husband and my 18-month old grand-son with another expected in November. I've been a Rover client and sitter off and on since 2018. I've not been active for almost 5 years during which time I've worked as a freelance researcher on almost a full-time basis. The demand for that work is shifting and I want to return to dog/house-sitting to supplement my income. I am comfortable walking, visiting and house-sitting small- and medium-size dogs, including senior dogs, and am experienced with giving medicine. I have a BS in Business Administration and 30+ years of work experience in the legal services industry. I am a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. I love to walk outside, grill, and sit beside a fire. I'm an SEC fan, so fall is my favorite time of year! I want to acknowledge the one negative client review regarding a client's senior dog. I was hired for drop-in visits . I let time get away from me for two visits. One of the things that Rover does well is notify dog owners know when their sitter/carer is onsite. The owner notified me when I did not arrive within a reasonable time of the scheduled time and I immediately went to the client site. The dog was fine but the owner was obviously alarmed and terminated the relationship. I take full responsibility for those lapses and they will not happen again. About: I ve taken care of different types of dogs since I was 15 my friend and neighbors have always relied on me to take care of their furry friends where I always assure that they always go for 3 walks a day, have quality play time with me, and be cuddle and cozy all the time you are away ♥️ Most of my work is from home! So I will spend the maximum amount of time with your best friend, playing, walking and lots of cuddles 🥰 normally I take the dogs for a walk, I come back ready to give them breakfast and food prepared for them; at the middle of the day I take them for a second walk and in the way back I hide some treats around the house to keep them entertained (if the dog have separation anxiety I get sure to get a lick mat to help them with that) in the afternoon night I have enough time to play with them after the last walk with a ball and more.

The Services I do provide are feeding, walks to keep your fur baby happy and healthy, fun time to keep them stimulated, to continue to build on their social skills and so they can routinely be working on their bonding with family, new faces and other dogs. Dogs are constantly growing and learning so the proper sitter is needed. My schedule is flexible, so it’s allows me to be available for any type of service that may come up. Around Special events and holidays I have more time to play with your fur baby and be more active. Making sure your dog is secure in my home or yours is my first priority. Because dogs are just like babies they can get into things so double checking doors and Gates is a must.

“Wow! I knew once meeting Scarlett that I had made the perfect match for my pup, Curbie. She and her daughter, Markie tag teamed at my house while sitting with my pup for almost 2 weeks. They both are animal (dog) lovers— you can tell that in the meet and greet by the questions she/they asked about caring for my older dog. I got updates and pictures even knowing I was out of the country and I might not have received them Scarlett and Markie still sent them to reassure Curbie was in great care. He was happy when I got home. Scarlett cared for my home too. She left it cleaner than when I left for my trip. She even washed her bed linen— I will be using her again and recommending her in the future to those who need a sitter for their pets of varied breeds and sizes. It’s scary to leave your pets in someone’s care but I was at ease knowing Curbie was in excellent hands.”
