“This was our first time using Laura through Rover, and we couldn’t be happier. I was a bit nervous at first, but she was fantastic with our dog, Brownie. You can tell she really cares Brownie did great with her! Communication was fast and easy; she always responded quickly to messages. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be rebooking her soon. Highly recommend!”

“Allison was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, she was professional, responsive, and clearly a true cat lover. She took such great care of my cat while I was away, sending me detailed daily updates and the best photos that really put my mind at ease. She was very diligent about cleaning the litter boxes & checking on the water fountain daily. She was even nice enough to grab my mail when I asked! It was clear my cats felt comfortable and safe with her—which says a lot, because they're usually pretty shy with people. I came home to a happy, fed kitty and my house just like I left it! I’ll 100% be booking with Allison again the next time I travel. If you’re looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive cat sitter on Rover, look no further—Allison is the one! 🐱💜”

“Mary was super helpful with my dog Phoenix!! She made sure to spend time with her and play. I’m sure Phoenix felt very loved and excited to see her when she visited. Thank you, Mary!”

“Kristin is absolutely phenomenal! Very good in communication and meeting my pets needs! Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing assistance with their dog or cat”

“We are so lucky to have found Stormee! I was so nervous to leave our fur baby for the first time (crazy dog mom, here) but after Stormee's first visit with her, I knew I would have nothing to worry about. Kona was so well taken care of- from playtime, exercise, food, potty breaks and all the extra pets and love. My dog can't wait for us to go out of town again! Stormee followed our instruction/schedule to a tee. She has a pure love for animals. Trustworthy, responsible and so sweet- she really loves what she does! She was easy to schedule with and always responded quickly. Thank you, Stormee--you are the very best! Already re-booked :)”

“This was the very first time I ever used Rover and I have to say that I am so glad that I did! And I am equally glad that Wendy was the person who took care of my cat Lyra. She was absolutely fantastic, from the very first time that we talked. She went above & beyond! Lyra got sick a few times and Wendy took care of that. It was so nice to come home & not have any messy cat box at all! This was the first time we've ever left Lyra all by herself & she wasn't happy about it. She was scared and wasn't as nice as she could be at times and Wendy was just amazing with her!! I can not recommend Wendy enough to anyone who needs a very caring person to take care of their pets!”

“Teresa was great! She kept me in the loop with my babies (kitties) while we were gone; she even washed their food bowls! I really appreciate that she was willing and able to help it with such short notice.”

“Emma came to take our dogs out while we were away for the day. She sent pics both times, one of which is my new favorite picture of Ollie. We will not hesitate to book Emma again.”

About: I've had pets, including dogs, since childhood. My friends trust me with their doggies, of various breeds/ ages, and they refer me to others often. I work from home (remote), but will sometimes be out during the evening for a few hours. I am attentive! I can take your dog out for exercise & potty breaks. I am willing to work with your schedule! Lots of love & petting! Can be on the couch with me. Frequent walks if desired. Can visit dog parks. Good with feeding schedules. Bedding is helpful (and crate if necessary).

My House is Total Dog Friendly with a large living room and play area a doggie door and fully fenced in back yard. This will be a Family business with help from my Fiancée and both of our Daughters. I am Dog CPR Trained and can give oral meds. We have watched many dogs over the last three years some of them have become like family to us. We treat Each of our stays like they are our own with the love and affection they deserve. One of the best reasons to come to us as we are a cage free sitter and are very flexible with pick up and drop off times
“Carissa was great with our Shiba Inc. Sasha is a stubborn dog that is picky about who she lets walk her and Carissa was definitely let into Sasha's circle. Will use Carissa again.”

“Ashley has been so attentive and sweet to our dogs while we were out of town. She came for a meet and greet the week before our trip and I knew then she would be great. She is an animal person and a vet tech to boot! We had her come for drop in visits everyday to feed them and let them out to potty and to play with them. She sent us report cards after every visit with photos attached. She has made my experience with rover absolutely wonderful and I would hire her again and again. Thank you so much Ashley.”
About: Friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets for years, from feeding and walking to giving them plenty of love. My own pup, Bella, is social and loves making new friends after spending over a year in daycare. I decided to join Rover to give other pet parents a cozy, caring alternative to daycare when they can’t be with their pups. I’m also experienced with senior dogs and understand the extra patience and gentle care they need. With us, your dog will get attention, playtime, and a cozy place to feel right at home. Ball is life. Around here, fetch, walks, and snuggles are part of every day. I have a fenced-in yard where pups can run and play safely, plus I’m home in the mornings and early afternoons with evening walks to wrap up the day. I also understand the extra attention senior dogs may need and provide care at a pace that keeps them comfortable. Whether it’s playtime or quiet company, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home. I have a fenced-in yard that’s perfect for safe play and sniff breaks. My dog Bella loves making new friends, so your pup will have a built-in buddy for playtime or cozy naps. With your approval, I’m happy to share treats and plenty of cuddles. Whether your pup is playful or prefers a slower pace (like many senior dogs), I adjust to their needs. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily crate them so they feel secure and comfortable.
About: I volunteered at Ana’s Angels for 3 years, I walked the dogs, made them look nice and presentable for people wanting to adopt them, I fed them, gave them water, and cleaned up their poop. I will be able to do the same, if not more for your dog or puppy. I am a big animal lover, and would love to help you out! I have school Tuesdays and Thursday and have work for a few hours on Monday and Wednesday’s. I am available to be able to stay over to check-in with the dogs and stay the night there. I will come to your home and take your pet and whatever they may need…if they need a walk, to be let out, fed/water, or even some love. I am very respectful and will follow whatever rules you oblige upon me, and will show your pet so much love and care!
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them like family. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, patience, and ability to quickly build trust with pets of all personalities. I have experience walking energetic dogs, caring for senior pets with medication needs, and creating a calm environment for anxious animals. Whether it's a puppy who needs structure and training or an older dog who needs gentle care, I adapt my approach to meet each pet’s unique needs. You can count on me to provide consistent, loving, and dependable care every time. I’m currently doing pet care part time while I have a job as an insurance agent, but I use lunch breaks to let dogs out so they aren’t alone longer than 4 hours. When I am with your pet, I give your pets my full attention and provide consistent, reliable care throughout the week when I’m not at work and full time on the weekends! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets—whether in my home or yours. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so I can create a calm, secure environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions closely, keeping things clean and organized. I make sure pets stay on their usual schedule and provide lots of attention, playtime, and supervision. I also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away.
About: I have had pets for my entire adult life, starting with cats and then eventually dogs. I am highly energetic and would love to care for your pets as if they were my own! I am recently retired from teaching for 30 years so my time is very flexible! But don’t be misled, I am quite vibrant and energetic. I can easily care for your dogs in my own home or yours. I have ample room for crates, a great neighborhood to walk in and a dog run at my own home. I am also very happy to come to your home to sit/walk.
“Cassandra was great! My pups can be hyper when meeting new people, and one sometimes has anxiety, but Cassandra was understanding and calm when dealing with them. She took the time to ask great questions to learn about our pups and their wants and needs, as well as getting to know us and our preferences. We look forward to working with her again.”

About: Between the two of us, we have over 25 years of animal care experience, with over half of that coming in a professional setting. We are both former zookeepers that know all the ins-and-outs of animal behavior. Additionally, Erin worked at a vet hospital for over 10 years. You will have peace of mind knowing we can handle any situation thrown our way, whether it be administering meds, difficult behavior issues, and any other special circumstance. We both work full-time M-F and get off at 2:30. We live 5 mins from our work so can be home quickly. Your pup must be comfortable spending those days in a crate/kennel (if they have destructive tendencies or are not potty trained). If we determine that your pup is able to, we are more than happy to let them have access to the house when we are gone to play with our dog Rudy. Your pup will have lots of opportunities to play and go on walks and get cuddles as we will be home for the remainder of each day your pup stays with us. For weekend stays, your pup will never be in a crate as we will be home all day and giving him/her lots of playtime and cuddles. We love going for long walks, the dog park, hiking, and the beach, and your dog would come along with us if you would like. We also have a fully fenced in back yard that is sizeable enough for plenty of playtime with our dog Rudy or a game of fetch. We have plenty of toys, enrichment, and can even work on training to keep your pup stimulated throughout their stay with us.
