About: My day job is as a wildlife biologist, and I have worked with everything from Japanese giant salamanders to gopher tortoises. I have watched pets for neighbors and friends for years and love dogs especially! I am free in evenings (5pm or later) and weekends pretty consistently (I work full time as a wildlife biologist during the day). Happy with long or short walks, even on hot days. I don't have any pets at home right now, but I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I am skilled at reading animal body language and always strive to make pets feel safe.

It was an unexpected/emergency trip so there was no advanced planning but Evan rolled with it, found everything - food, litter, the house key (!) It really was last minute. About: I have had animals all my life growing up as child. Over the years I have learned to play with dogs and learn what they like to do as well as what they do not like to do. I notice the small things about the dog such as if their eating habits change, sleeping habits change and activeness change. I have love dogs so your human companion will feel comfortable and loved. I have worked with puppies, young adult and senior dogs treating each with the care they deserved and giving them the attention they require. Animals are my passion and they will always be in good hands with me. I will take care of your pet and they will feel happy and right at home.

“During my 2-week absence, Christian did a fabulous job caring for my cats Tommy and Coco. Because she was communicative and responsive, I experienced no anxiety about leaving them in her care. Christian sent me wonderful pictures and texts that reflected her extraordinary gift for compassionate caregiving. Tommy and Coco were obviously happy and stress free because Christian loved and cared for them as I do. My cats were literally crazy for her, as she spoiled them rotten. Amazingly, Tommy posed in pictures with Christian, as if she’d raised him from a kitten; and my skittish Coco, who normally hides from strangers, allowed Christian to regularly find her “hiding.” I give Christian my highest praise for a job exceptionally done. About: Ever since I was little, I’ve had a special place in my heart for dogs. In kindergarten, I proudly told my mom that when I grew up, I wanted to be a “dog catcher.” 😂 I’m still not exactly sure what I thought that meant, but one thing has always been clear—I’ve always loved dogs!
