“Christopher was very easy to communicate with and sent photos of my dogs throughout the week. He let me know when one of them didn’t seem to be eating normally and he was confident in handling it. My dogs came back happy and without issues.”

“Rachel took such great care of my hyperactive 1 year old rescue mutt. Rachel was extremely accomodating and flexible with my pick up time. My dog was so happy in her home and came home worn out from all the playing with her 2 sweet pups! I highly recommend her if you want a loving pet sitter that treats your dog like her own.”

“My dogs loved their stay with Lindsey and Jose. I am honestly so glad they were able to stay with them since they also have dogs to play with. We constantly got picture updates of the pups and I was just happy to see that they were happy as well. They definitely got a lot of love while we were gone. Thank you guys so much.”

About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. I also have veterinary technician and shelter experience, along with hands-on experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, reinforcing basic puppy training, and supporting animals with special routines, anxieties, or medical needs. I’m currently working with one of my own dogs in service dog training, and I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who previously worked with pre-K children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Both experiences have strengthened my understanding of behavioral reinforcement, nonverbal communication, patience, routine, trust-building, and adapting to different personalities and emotional needs. In many ways, both children and animals communicate heavily through energy, body language, consistency, and feeling emotionally safe, and I’ve found those skills help me connect especially well with animals of all temperaments. I’m also an avid walker and love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through the beautiful Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, local parks, and nearby green spaces — especially when the weather cools down a bit. For more active dogs, I genuinely enjoy playtime, walks, fetch, and engagement throughout the day, while calmer pets usually find me just as happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a peaceful environment. Because I operate my design company remotely and on my own schedule, I’m often able to spend extended time in the home providing companionship, supervision, structure, affection, and a calming presence throughout the day and overnight — not just quick drop-ins. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. Because I own and operate my own boutique design firm, my schedule is highly flexible and allows me to work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. I’m also involved in tween mentorship and creative consulting, both of which I manage on my own schedule, making it easy for me to prioritize the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I’m naturally both an early riser and a night owl, so I’m available for early morning feedings and walks, late-night potty breaks, overnight companionship, medication schedules, and pets who simply feel more secure having someone nearby throughout the day and evening. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy the companionship, structure, and calm presence animals bring. Whether I’m working quietly from my laptop while keeping your pet company, taking breaks for walks and playtime, or providing attentive overnight care, I’m able to give pets far more presence and consistency than many traditional sitters with rigid work schedules. Safety, trust, and creating a calm environment are extremely important to me, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have two friendly small dogs and cats of my own, so pets staying in my home should be comfortable around other animals and able to coexist peacefully. Our pets are very much part of the family and are welcome on furniture and beds, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving, home-like environment rather than a kennel atmosphere. I understand that every pet has different comfort levels, routines, and boundaries, and I take introductions, feeding, supervision, and transitions seriously to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. If a pet prefers to be crated or separated at times, I’m happy to accommodate those needs as well. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m highly respectful of routines, security, cleanliness, and household expectations. As a longtime homeowner and business owner myself, I understand the level of trust involved when someone gives access to both their beloved pets and their home. I’m conscientious about alarms, locked doors, medications, feeding schedules, potty routines, cleanliness, and communication. Because I work remotely from home in the Avondale area, I’m also able to provide a high level of flexibility, supervision, companionship, and overnight presence for pets who are used to having someone nearby throughout the day.
“These folks are the real deal. They have a wonderful home for dogs to get cozy and feel safe while you're gone. They kept us updated while we were away. Our pup had a great time, was exercised each day, and made friends with a few of the dogs! Highly recommend.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I have spent most of my life caring for pets. I currently own one dog named Mackey. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give them the attention they need. I work from home so my schedule is flexible and I can use that opportunity to provide plenty of walks and breaks as needed for your pet. My current dog is indoors. All pets staying at my home will be indoors with A/C and access to plenty of water, food and toys.
“This was our fist time using Rover.com. Our Nessie had a great time with Kristall. In fact I think she was spoiled a wee bit! Will definitely use Kristall & Rover again.”

“Madison and Charlea took such great care of my old gal. I love that I get daily pictures, and could tell how happy Lacie was. Will definitely continue to use them in the future!”
“Highly recommend Marlena! She was great about making my BIG babies feel comfortable (my female has really bad separation anxiety & immediately connected with Marlena!) She was great about sending updates and very communicative, it was so nice to leave my pups (without worry) for a weekend out of town! We will definitely be booking with Marlena & Phil again! Thanks so much for loving my babies & making them feel safe.”

“Penguin love Ms Beverly and her girls! She moved right in for the 4 days we were gone! I know she got so much attention and affection! I gave Ms Beverly a cash tip 🤗”

“Kendra was great with our Rocket. Kept us updated on his days and sent pictures but didn't go overboard with it. I also appreciated her being flexible with the booking ours that needed to change at one point. Would definitely use again if she is available.”

“Absolutely amazing pet sitting experience! My pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for while I was away. Communication was excellent with regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Reliable, professional, and genuinely caring — I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy pet care. I’ll definitely be booking again.”

“Katya did a great job taking care of Reggie when I went out of town! Communication was excellent and she provided periodic updates and photos showing how much fun he was having! It’s so nice to be able to leave my boy with someone knowing he is so well taken care of!”

“Rachelle is amazing. Our furry girl was well loved and taken care of while we were out of town. We received pictures and updates while we were gone and a happy, non stressed pooch when we came home ❤️ couldn’t be happier.”

“I usually go with a pet boarding facility but wanted to try something different. Meaghan was very responsive and flexible with my schedule. She welcomed my 2 frenchies with open arms no hesitation. She made me feel more comfortable with her than taking them to a pet paradise.”

“Kaitland did a wonderful job caring for our elderly dog, Prim. She gave her a variety of daily meds and Prim came home happy and calm. Great experience!”

“Alicia is the best!!! My rue girl was so comfortable and felt so at home you’d think Alicia was her owner! I have never felt safe leaving rue before however this time with her being in Alicia’s care there wasn’t a worry in my mind! Definitely will be a reoccurring guest ❤️!”

“Christian is great! Mulligan loves staying with her and her pups. Christian was very responsive and was always sending pictures and updates during his stay.”

“She took great care of my dog! He came back smelling better than when he was dropped off lol. She made sure to keep me updated on how he was doing the whole time with pictures. Highly recommend and would book again.”

Christian has watched my pup 3 times!! She’s picked him and and dropped him off each time and it’s seems like it’s always last min for me.. so I really appreciate here and my pup just seems very happy when I see him again! I have not met Christian personally but she sends me updates often and I just all around appreciate what she has done for me!

The single best person! I trust her with my boys always. If it weren’t for the fact that we were moving states, I would never see a reason not to use Sammy as a dog watcher for our boys. We call it Camp Coy since her dog Coy is our boys’ best friend! I am heartbroken to leave. She has watched both of our large labs numerous times and she is an irreplaceable person.

Another amazing stay with Sherrie and her family :) my baby loves staying with her and I love that I don’t have to worry about him! You can truly tell she loves animals and treats her guests like they are her own! 🥰🩷 if you are looking for the right sitter, book here!!!!

We can't say enough good things about Brent and David. This was the first time our two, 8 1/2 year old Boxers have been away from us for 8 days. We had left them a day or two with our daughter in the past and through that experience, we discovered they don't eat for a day or two over separation anxiety and basically mope. Not the case here! These pups didn't miss a beat! Healthy appetite every day, plenty of exercise with walks and outdoor playtime, sofa lounging, treats, love, pets, full - hands-on attention and just happy. Our guilt and worry disappeared pretty rapidly after seeing the daily photos and video we received. We could not have dreamed or asked for better care of our fur babies. We can now take trips without concern and will always use Brent and David! Our dogs were loved. Highly recommend, A+, Five Star #happyfurbabies #BrentandDavid #Rover

Michael did an amazing job boarding my dog for the week. He kept me updated, made sure my dog was well cared for, and treated her like family. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in great hands. Highly recommend Michael to anyone needing reliable and caring pet boarding!
