About: I have almost 2 years of professional experience working with dogs and cats. I am experienced with pets from around 3 months up to 15+ years. I am experienced in feeding, as well as administering both oral and topical medications to both cats and dogs. I have experience with shy, timid and anxious pets, and I have dealt with aggressive/reactive behavior. I have experience working with multiple pets at one time, walking up to 3 dogs at one time, and monitoring up to 25 dogs in a play setting at one time. I have administered first aid to dogs with clipped nails, scratched paws, minor bites from other animals, and other various small injuries, as well as sickness. I currently have 2 cats of my own, and I’ve had family pets ever since I was a little kid. At one point there were 7 cats and 4 dogs being taken care of at my home, and I was relied on to help feed, bathe, and walk them. I’m an animal lover. Sometimes I feel I connect better to animals than people themselves! I can bring the energy, but I’m also responsible, patient, and can remain calm when dealing with animals that are in distress or are very hyper. I will always follow how the owner of the pet wants that pet to be treated, trained or disciplined. I’m available to walk your dogs, or do drop in visits anywhere between 6 am and 6 pm every day other than Sundays. I am starting a new job soon, so my hours may vary. I currently do not have the proper equipment or means to board any animals at the moment. However, I will follow anything the owner needs me to do when it comes to care of their animal in their own home, as well as offering all of the love I can! I will ensure the animals are fed, walked/ let out to play, and bathed if needed.

“If you are looking for a responsible, reliable, dependable, trustworthy person to care for your precious dog and cat, then Brittanie is the person for you. She was my daily dog walker/cat sitter for over three years. My husband and I both work full time outside the home and Brittanie provided excellent care and company for both my dog (a 4 year old yellow lab) and my cat (a 7 year old black Persian.) She would come once or twice a day for walks, play time, letting the pup outside to potty, etc. There was one time on a Saturday morning, around 7 am, and I was out of town. I sent her a text and asked if she could come to my home and check on the animals and she did right away. She was there within minutes. I truly believe she went above and beyond regular dog walking/animal care duties, she truly loved my animals and cared for them as if they were her own. Because of her, my dog made friends with other dogs in the neighborhood and enjoyed walks and play time with them too. Almost everyone who lives on my street has dogs and we all had Brittanie for our dog walker. Everyone on this street is in the United States Military at a 06 (Colonel) ranking and Brittanie has our full trust and support. I could text Brittanie with last minute changes to my work schedule and she ALWAYS accommodated my request. She would send me picture of my cat and dog throughout the day and I have some great picture of them because of this. On days I wasn't working and I could walk my dog, if Brittanie and her family happened to drive by, she always made a point to stop the car and say hi to my dog (and me) and my dog would always start to wag her tail and jump at the car because she knew that was her good friend! Animals can tell good people from bad, and my dog let me know she is a GREAT person! For Christmas one year, she gave me the most thoughtful Christmas tree ornament that had a picture of my cat and dog and their names. Our dog stayed at her house for a week once when we were out of town and she sent me daily pictures of my dog resting and cuddling with her on her sofa and with her family members. My dog was treated like family in her home, which is the most reassuring and comforting thing for a pet owner to know when they are leaving their 'babies' in the care of someone else. For me, Brittanie is not just a random person on Rover, she is someone I know and trust 100% with the safety, welfare, and happiness of my beloved animals. If you can't tell by now, I strongly recommend Brittanie and I know she will care for your animal just as you would. (Brittanie -- please move back this way, we miss you!)”
