About: My day job is as a wildlife biologist, and I have worked with everything from Japanese giant salamanders to gopher tortoises. I have watched pets for neighbors and friends for years and love dogs especially! I am free in evenings (5pm or later) and weekends pretty consistently (I work full time as a wildlife biologist during the day). Happy with long or short walks, even on hot days. I don't have any pets at home right now, but I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals. I am skilled at reading animal body language and always strive to make pets feel safe.

I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

We’re comfortable with feeding routines, crate routines, administering basic medications, frequent potty breaks, and providing plenty of exercise and attention. Since this is a family-run home, your pup gets lots of interaction, supervision, love, and updates while you’re away. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable leaving them—and for them to be excited to come back! 🐾 Pet care is a big part of my daily routine, and since I’m currently unemployed, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I’m able to be flexible and work around your pet’s needs. I’m also available to board on weekends and on weekdays after 4 PM, making it easy for you to find reliable care whenever you need it. I have a small fenced in area for your fur babies to run and play. I also have two friendly dogs of my own to keep your pet company. If your dog needs a break I can kennel them easily. Your pets are allowed to my home their home while you’re away.

About: I have been pet sitting/pet watching for over 3 years, while simultaneously owning and taking care of my own dog for over 10 years! I love getting to know animals and their sweet personalities, and knowing that you, the owner, trust me enough to let me love your babies! I've dealt with everything from cancer ridden cats, diabetic dogs needing insulin, to amphibians and pets of all sizes. I have patience and love for animals and have always and will always go above and beyond for you and your pets. They are more than pets, they are family and it is important they are treated as such. I encourage meet and greets prior to our first meet up so the animals meet me, my home, and my family.
