From the age of three, I knew my calling was to work alongside animals. At 12, I began volunteering in shelters, where I gained valuable knowledge while working in the kennels. I dedicated countless hours around my schooling and athletics to caring for animals, both furry and scaly. By 19, I started my first professional role as an apprentice dog trainer, which was an amazing experience and the start of a career centered around the care of animals. I then took a full-time job as a dog daycare attendant, which I loved, before becoming a store manager at a holistic pet wash and pet store. When I became pregnant with my youngest daughter, I stepped back from my career and transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom. After my youngest turned two and our family settled in Jacksonville, I returned to work as an animal care officer. Unfortunately, the demands of having four kids and being a military spouse interrupted that journey due to an unexpected deployment. I returned home to support my family and resumed life as a stay-at-home mom. Now that I have only one child at home and things have settled down, I find myself missing the joy of working with pets and their owners. I would love the opportunity to spend time with your pets and treat them as if they were my own.
