About: Hello! I’ve been a dedicated cat parent for over 5 years, so I truly understand the unique needs and quirks of our feline companions. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced in caring for cats of all ages—from playful kittens to senior cats who need a little extra love and care. I treat every cat like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give both you and your cat peace of mind! I’m currently available for pet sitting visits in and around San Jose. I prefer evening drop-ins, as they fit well with my schedule but I'm also flexible and happy to adjust when needed. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and look forward to meeting some new feline friends! With 5 years of experience caring for my own cat, Arya, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what cats need to feel safe, happy, and loved. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your cat’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, or just providing quiet companionship. I always aim to create a calm and comforting environment. I look forward to giving your cat the same care and attention I give my own!

About: What sets me apart is my real-life experience and deep understanding of dogs at every stage of life. I’ve cared for a pregnant dog mom, helped raise her newborn puppies, and supported her through postpartum recovery. I also have four dogs of my own, so managing multiple dogs with different needs and energy levels is second nature to me. Additionally, I speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which enables me to communicate effectively with a diverse range of dog owners and dogs. I’m patient, observant, and completely comfortable with the chaos that comes with a house full of pups! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine right now. I was recently laid off and, as the breadwinner of my family, I’m fully available and committed to providing Dog Walking, Drop-In Visits, and House Sitting whenever needed. My wife is home full-time to care for our dogs, so I can focus 100% on your pet while knowing mine are well looked after. With a flexible schedule and a love for animals, I’m ready to help whenever you need me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat them like my own and make it a priority to understand their unique needs before providing any service. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, habits, and any special requirements to ensure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you're away. For Drop-In Visits, I make sure your pet gets food, water, bathroom breaks, and quality attention — whether that’s playtime, belly rubs, or just relaxing company. For Dog Walking, I tailor each walk to your dog’s age, energy level, and temperament. I always bring a portable water bottle with a bowl to keep your dog hydrated, and I also carry a small camera to monitor the walk and help ensure your dog’s safety, especially when we’re out of your home. For House Sitting, I provide round-the-clock care and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. I’ll keep your home just as clean and tidy as when you left, while making sure your pet sticks to their normal routine and feels completely at ease.

Maria Laura O.
“Laura is a very dedicated and loving caretaker for my cats and dogs. She is responsible and highly attentive to their health and medical needs, making sure any animals are always safe under her care. She diligently makes sure each animal is kept on their feeding schedule and actively identifies and shares any potential health risks or tips based on her experience. For example, she had us change our cats’ water more regularly when she noticed they weren’t drinking enough water. Equally important, she is a lover of animals and makes sure their emotional and mental needs are met. She gets to know each animal’s personality and finds ways to stimulate them and play with them. My labradoodle is always excited to see her and bring their toys to play with her. She even knows how to approach shy animals, like my temperamental bichon who is slow to trust new humans. She gives him the space to trust her and is able to build a relationship with him which he doesn’t even have with other household members. When my bichon sees her he gets excited and runs to the couch to curl up by her side.”

North San Jose pet parents share their Rover experiences
Wanyu is fantastic. She is friendly, upbeat and clearly loves animals. I am glad that I still have you coming back to help during this unexpected time. I look forward to our future appts. Thank you also for allof the amazing videos, and pics that you leave after EACH Visit!!!!!!' Means more than you know.

Ted and Mocha flourished under Elizabeth's care during our nine-day trip. Our outdoor feral cats liked her too and showed up for feedings. Her photos and reports reassured us. She went above and beyond in tackling a kitchen ant invasion and finding a delivered package. We will book her again. Thank you!

this was our first time using Rover, and we were very nervous having someone new in our space, and with Squid. Shani was very easy to work with, gave detailed updates (with photos), and gave us so much peace of mind - we are thankful we found someone so responsible, punctual, and neat (not to mention patient, as we are very new pet parents). if we were to book again, it’d deff be with Shani!(:

I felt so comfortable and happy to leave my kitties under Chaitrali’s care. She genuinely loves animals, is diligent in her tasks and takes extra steps to make sure I’m informed of the visit. Chaitrali is very flexible and was happy to accommodate a last minute booking. Would absolutely recommend her to check in on your pets and I will use her every time :)

Yingxue is considerate and definitely a cat lover! She not only makes sure to follow the instructions for every visit, but also showers my baby with love. I've requested drop-in visits from her a few times, and she has become one of my cat's favorites already :)
