“Alyssa was amazing! We were so nervous to leave our 4-month-old kitten at home while we were on vacation. We have an 8-year-old cat as well, who loves alone time…but our kitten needs a lot more attention! Alyssa sent so many pictures and detailed updates. We felt at ease knowing she was there! (:”

“I think my cat loves Meghan because she was being a bit finicky with food and taking medicine before I traveled but has been taking her meds and eating fine since Meghan showed up. I had family visiting and my cat gets stressed from strangers/people so that’s probably why she was being finicky with food but apparently she calms down when Meghan is there! So happy to know that I have someone who she feels happy and peaceful with when I’m gone.”

“Renae came on short notice and jumped through extra hoops to take care of my cat with no complaints. She was pleasant, and we felt immediately comfortable that our cat was going to be taken care of while Renae was visiting. We enjoyed the photos, her great communication, and that she took care of things that she saw needed taken care of. Thank you, Renae.”

“Just moved to town and found Kirstie and I am very pleased. Very responsible, timely and communicative. Love that I have found a new Rover for my cats.”

About: I started my pet care at my local animal shelter, then became a dog bather for about 5 years. I pet-sat on the side the same amount of years, taking care of my neighbors elderly poodles, drop in visits for a young and spry golden retriever, also stayed overnight at client's house who had two dogs and a cat! I've given pill medication, dealt with prescribed food and separation feeding times, and given pet-breathalyzer for a cat with asthma. I work second shift, from 5pm-1am. So I'm available most weekdays from early morning (preferably 9am earliest) to early afternoon (3pm latest). I always enjoyed pet care and excited to get back into it! First off, listening to them! Carefully observing their behavior at their natural state, then hungry, or playful state. Making sure they get their energy out with play time/walking.

“She did a great job with my 110 pound Rottweiler zeke. I’m am very happy, and he was well taken care of. She also sent several pictures updates!! Highly recommend!”

“We are new to the area and Jackie did a great job taking care of our somewhat needy cats, one of whom requires medication. We appreciated the detailed reports and pictures!”

“Sara was very good with my kitty. Good communication. My cat was happy.”

About: I started volunteering at the animal shelter when I was 10. I have 5 dogs and 8 cats that I have rescued from abusive/neglectful homes, the streets, and from the shelter. I took a vet tech class in high school and a big/small animal class. I’m very good with all kinds and types of animals. I work part time currently, 4 to 5 hours a day Monday-Thursday and I’m off Friday-Sunday. I will definitely be able to care for and engage with your pet when needed. When I go to a new house to dog sit I always lock the doors and make sure to follow all rules I have been given. I stay very aware of my surroundings and the animal.

About: I have always loved dogs and always wanted one. So since I can’t have one I would love to take care of yours! I have taken care of many dogs of the years. I have watched dogs through house sitting. The longest I watched someone’s dogs was a month. I’m very comfortable around dogs and love them very much. They would get all the love from me! I am a teacher so I’m on summer break. I have all the time in the world! I would love to include walking dogs in my summer routine. I always clean up after myself and your dog. I make sure your and your dogs needs are always met. I don’t have space for a dog at my own house though.

“Agreed to meet Gabby on short notice and was great with her! She is a reactive dog but Alison’s calm demeanor put Gabby at ease quickly. Thanks for being willing to work with her!”

“Julia did a great job with my dog. She checked In multiple times a day and really went the extra mile to make sure my dog was taken care of (including giving him his daily medicine). Will definitely keep her in mind for future checkins!”

About: I have taken care of my family's dogs for years, from puppies to seniors! I deeply love all dogs and have always connected with them. I used to spend my weekends volunteering at the humane society! I currently have open availability, including evenings, nights, early mornings, daytime, and weekends! I would love to care for your adorable furbabies whenever you need! I get to know the pets' individual preferences, likes, and overall what they respond to. I ask owners about boundaries and get a sense of how I can make the pet comfy with my presence! I will try to do similar activities/routines that my client has established with their pet to keep the pets happy and calm!
