“Hannah was so amazing! Milo loved when her and her kids dropped in for visits! She was always flexible with me and my schedule! She had great communication about everything! We cannot thank her enough for the great care she provided our puppy!”

“I cannot say enough great things about Chris and Kate! They provided a daily drop-in visit to check in on our kitties while we were out of town. Our playful kitty Lin met them at the door each day, our shy kitty Dottie quickly warmed up to them, and they were even able to spot our senior cat Smokey a number of times (before he ran off to hide, as he usually does, haha!) I also really appreciated the detailed notes and adorable photos of the kitties they sent us each day -- you could tell how comfortable the kittens were with them by the end of the week. It's such a relief to know your pets are being well taken care of when you're out of town! This was our first time using Rover, and I'm so glad to have had such a great experience with Kate and Chris! We will be booking them again in the future! :) Thank you!”

“Kaylor was my primary sitter for my beloved cat who just passed away. I could always know that she’s in the safe hands with Kaylor. For the last year my cat was ill, and Kaylor was amazing with medication. She would also spend extra time. Communication was fast and easy. My cat only allowed ONE outside person in her entire life to pet her. it was Kaylor. I cannot thank Kaylor enough for being there. Please book with Kaylor without any concerns. You can’t find a better sitter.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for both cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s energetic pups that love long walks or independent cats that just need some company, I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with feeding routines, administering medication, cleaning up after pets, and providing lots of love, playtime, and cuddles. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own (Rigby, my senior cavapoo, and Dante, my 1-year old black cat, would attest if they could)! Whether you're heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work part time until mid-May, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! Please DM for specific hours, as they will vary slightly! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I always treat their space and routines with the utmost respect. I do my best to stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule, whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, or quiet time. I follow all instructions carefully and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I keep things clean, communicate regularly with updates and photos, and always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet, keeping everything as normal and familiar as possible.
About: I've had cats in the family for the past 20 years with my current cat having been in our family for over 10. I've taken care of cats as young as 10 weeks to those over 10 years old. I'm currently a full-time student student with teaching clinicals on Mondays and Wednesdays but a light class load the rest of the week allowing me to be home for most of my time. I live in an apartment that has a fenced in lawn area and the ability to cut my apartment in half with door closures allowing your pet private areas for feeding, litter, sleep, and play if they do not like my cat.
About: I’ve been around animals since a very younger age because of having my dad as a veterinary my whole life. I have also worked as a veterinary assistant for about 2 years before I decided to go towards human medicine and got my nursing license in 2024. I am great with animals and know a lot about handling and care because of my training as a VA! Would love to meet your pets. :) I work as a nurse in long care with a very flexible schedule to be available to care for pets. Love to take them out for walks and such, I will be with them 24/7! I live alone in an apartment with three of my own kitties. They have a strict three time a day eating schedule due to my torbie being a little fat from her being too cute and getting too many treats 😂

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
