About: Hello! I am a 29 year old who lives in Chenoa & works full time in Bloomington. I love animals, I have pet sat for almost 12 years. I volunteer at the local humane society. Both of my sisters are local and worked as vet techs, if I ever have any animals questions, I call them! My twin sister currently works at Central IL Humane Society in Normal. I’m a full-time college student who also works part-time on campus, so I’m primarily available during evenings and weekends. On weekdays I'm available after 2:00PM Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and after 5:00PM Thurday. On weekends I am free all day. I’m happy to coordinate specific times that work best for you and your pet‘s routine. I take time to understand every pet’s personality, follow their routine closely, and make sure they feel safe while in my care. About: Hello! I’m Emma! I am a student at ISU. I love all animals and have a cat named Danny. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have had both cats and dogs my whole life. I am new to Rover and pet sitting, but have more than enough experience with all animals from small critters to farm animals. I am a current student at ISU, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I am also usually around on weekends to stop by for a walk, feeding, or some quick play time. I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, and will love and respect your pet. About: I was my aunt and uncle’s primary dog walker and sitter from middle school until I moved out for college. I have house-sat twice for a week at a time with no problems. They have a very energetic puppy who was 5 months old and 8 months old respectively when I was house sitting. I mostly have experience with medium-sized dogs, but I’ve socialized with dogs of all sizes. My own dog, Luna, is back home with my parents. We’ve had her for ten years and love her dearly, even when she eats grass. I have a busy class load Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings for walks and doggie dinners. Friday through Sunday are usually very open for me, and I would love to spend my weekends with your dogs! I am away some weekends, usually about once a month. I am fully willing to stay overnight with your dogs any day of the week, even school nights. For full time sitting, I will check in on your dogs every 3-5 hours during the school day. If I need to leave on weekends, I will not be gone for more than four hours at a time unless specifically agreed upon beforehand. I’m fully prepared to be nipped, scratched, and jumped on, but will not encourage this behavior. My general rule for walks is one leash per hand, for both my safety and your dogs’. As a student I don’t have the ability to bring any pets to my own residence, though I do now have a car. I am equipped for both energetic playtime and sleepy snuggles. I do not have any supplies of my own yet, since I’m just getting started here in Normal.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I’ve worked everywhere ranging from dog daycare’s to pet stores to even basic dog training places. I even started out on rover and did that for 4 years before moving on but I’m back. Rest assure when your dog is with me, you’ll rest easy knowing that with my skills and qualifications that they’ll have the best time of their lives. Whether it’s senior dogs to puppies or even disabled dogs, I believe all dogs deserve love no matter what! I currently work full-time at a dog daycare place. I am pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling. I would just have to check my schedule ahead of time. When providing care at your home for your dog, I would act like it was my house with the respect and dignity. Your dog will feel comfortable, not only in your own home but with somebody who would treat it like it’s their home.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
