About: My parents close friends/family members and even some of my best friends have trusted me to watch overnight their pets such as dogs and cats,etc and along with boarding them at our house as the owners were out of town. I have lots of personal experience with my own pets, along with experience with dog watching and walking dogs outside my family dog. I grew up living with dogs and have always had a passion for animals and would love to be able to take care of peoples furry friends. I have a part time job currently so weekdays would be best since some shifts I get off in the afternoon so most evenings I’m free so if I know in advanced when people need me that would be great to work around my schedule. Some mornings I am also free. We have a big back yard but it does not have a fully fenced in yard due to our garage but it is safe and we have a leash to attach dogs too so they can be safe while also roaming in the yard. We also have a dog bed too. Not many toys because our dog is getting older but we can provide treats if needed and make sure they have everything they need. They will also have a furry companion which is our dog Bella. Whenever I watch a dog at someone else’s home I make sure to check and see what instructions they leave for me, make sure they are fed and let outside, and also make sure they are played with.

I also really appreciated the detailed notes and adorable photos of the kitties they sent us each day -- you could tell how comfortable the kittens were with them by the end of the week. It's such a relief to know your pets are being well taken care of when you're out of town! “MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”
About: I have 2dogs of my own and just adore them to pieces and plan to go back to foster/rescue dogs in the future. I once had 4 dogs but 2 of them got older and had to cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge. I am currently a SAHM i have pretty flexibility other than having to take my son to and from pre school. So depending on the time I might have my son with me or my daycare kiddo with me. I have a fenced yard and my dogs have plenty of room to run and have fun. They have there own little pool during the summer and a covered porch during the rainy season.
