I have 1 year of professional pet care experience at a dog daycare and kennel. I bathed dogs, fed them lunch/dinner, ensured their access to fresh water, let them out for bathroom breaks/outside time, played with them, administered medications when necessary, and interacted with many different breeds. I even frequently spent the night with up to 5 cage-free boarding dogs at a time. Also, I’ve been trusted to take care of the pets of both family and friends for the past 10 years. Growing up around 5 dogs means I’ve always been confident in providing quality care for pets that do and don’t belong to me! Caring for animals brings me joy and I am happy to care for your beloved furry friends like they’re my own!

Any care that you need me to take care of in your home, I am fully capable of! I understand how much our pets mean to us, so I’ll do anything to make sure you’re comfortable during the care process, such as sending plenty of pictures. I’m very detail-oriented so any instructions you provide for pet care will be strictly followed. Your satisfaction and your pet’s safety are my top priorities!

I’m so happy to have found Shannon to care for our cats. This is the first time I’ve used Rover, and I’m glad I did. Shannon went above and beyond checking in on our shy boy, Diego, and befriending our aloof calico, Frida. It really put my mind at ease knowing that Shannon was there. I loved getting notes with updates and pictures after each visit. I’ll definitely be booking Shannon again in the near future!

Schedule
I just graduated, so I’m on the hunt for a job. In the meantime, I have plenty of time for pet care and am more than willing to work around my schedule in the future! I prefer requests at least one day in advanced. As of right now, I’m available all throughout the week unless my availability says otherwise!
