“MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”
About: Pet care has been an extremely enjoyable and fulfilling part of my life ever since I got my first dog in middle school. I’m adaptive to pets’ needs and willing to learn their routines and likes for their best experience. I have a lot of free time during the week, so I can be attentive to any pet’s needs during the day. I like to know as much as I can about pets so I can make sure they are comfortable. There is plenty of unfenced outdoor space where I live, and your pet would never go outside without my supervision. I have an apartment to myself so there are no complications outside of taking care of your pet.
About: I have always had dogs in my family. Or some kind of pet. I have grown with the connection of any type of pet. Especially dogs. I have pet sat for both cats and dogs for a long time. For example other family members, neighbors, friends of friends, and connections! I am available weekdays anytime after 3! And weekends any time of day! About: I’ve been dog sitting regularly for 5 years now, I have many regular clients I dogs-sit for. I also have experience with diabetic dogs, and am very comfortable with giving insulin! About: I know how to deal with multiple dogs at the same time, as I’ve always had two at the same time. Walks, playtime, feeding, whatever it may be, I can do it.
