About: Hi, I’m Cassie and I’m here to fill all of your pet care needs! As a pet owner myself, 2 cats and a GSD, I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind when you travel or are simply in a busy season. I struggle with it myself. When you are away, your pets deserve attention, playtime, cuddles, and a normal routine right in their own home, where they feel safest. As a Bloomington-Normal native, I grew up in the country with all sorts of pets. In addition to our family cats and dogs I also cared for chickens and horses. My mother was a science teacher and every summer we would bring home the animals from her classroom: birds, rabbits, hamsters, and a tarantula. I learned very young not all pets are created the same, and an individualized approach to care was not only respectful of the pet, but also required for their safety. I have cared for pets in all stages of life from puppy/kitten through terminal cancer support in senior years. I adhere to the essential laws of pet happiness: 1) Food must appear on time every day. 2) Walks must include maximum sniffing time and end with belly rubs. 3) Playtime is serious business. 4) Cuddles are required on any day ending in “Y” unless alone time is signaled for. In all seriousness, I provide dependable services designed to keep your pets, safe, happy, and engaged while also providing you with peace of mind that your furry children are well cared for while you are away. While visiting your home, I am respectful of your property, your provided guidelines, and the trust you have placed in me to care for your pet. I have schedule flexibility and can work with your household schedule for walking, sitting, or drop in care. Requested information about your pet PRIOR TO ACCEPTING a booking: Please let me know the breed, age, living status (indoor vs outdoor pet), and medical needs of your pet. In addition, I would like to know if your pet has a history of reactivity or aggression to any of the following: food, toys, other animals, weather, etc.. I will request a meet and greet prior to providing services to ensure I am a good fit for you and your furry child. I currently work from home, and have schedule flexibility to work around your household schedule for pet care. Drop in care and walking services can be provided daily. In-home care may also be provided daily, depending on scheduling and the ability for me to work from your location. I have a privacy fenced in yard making potty time easy and stress free. My home is not on a main street, making it a quiet environment for your pet. I also have one playful dog who can keep your pup company. I have crates of all sizes, and can easily crate your dog if crate training is what you practice at home. I have extra leashes for walks and plenty of toys to go around. Since I work from home, your pet will be with me a majority of the day. They will have maximum 4 hours a day alone while with me. Feeding and medication schedules will be adhered too. I have extra bowls and slow feeders for use as well.

I’ve also had my own dog for 7 years, so I understand the daily care, attention, and responsibility pets need. I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I always make sure each dog gets the exercise, routine, and care they deserve. About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, I do have references! I can start in August mostly around 3pm until whenever! I’m very flexible with time and dog sitting or cat sitting I can do Mondays-Fridays! I always take care of my cat and bunny in the mornings and always give them my time attention after work and make sure they have fresh water and entertainment and treats!

About: Hi all! A little about me and my experience- My name is Kat and I am currently finishing my thesis in grad school and work part time as a server/bartender. My fiancé, Mat, works nights during the week and I tend to work most weekends. Together, we make sure any animals in our home are cared for as there is almost always someone at home. (On top of that, we have a roommate who is often home.) When it comes to our pets, they are a part of our family. We love them and know that it’s hard to be away from them. When I’m taking care of someone else’s animal, I want them to feel happy and comfortable in the home because I know it’s already hard enough on them being away from you- the pet parent. Each pet has their own needs. Puppies need constant attention until they zonk out then they are back at it again later. Older dogs might just want some love and attention, to be fed, and then to be left alone for the night. In my experience, each pet owner also has their own needs. Some have wanted daily pictures and videos. Some just like an update here and there. My experience has taught me that the best way to see if you can match those needs is by making that initial contact and talking everything over and ideally having a meet and greet beforehand. I started doing this as an ungraduated college student and continue today because it's something that I can do with my job and something that I love. Please reach out with any questions! I try to schedule meet and greets when both Mat and myself are available. This ensures you can meet us both and feel assured whenever either of us are home for pick ups and drop offs. We have a fenced in backyard and so the dogs have the run of that area. If it's rainy, we try to keep their potty breaks short so to prevent the muddy paws we all know and love. We have a Aussie who is about a year and a half who will happily play with any energetic pups that come visit and sometimes because of this, they roll around in the yard and get dusty-dirty. If you would prefer me to limit that outside play, I am happy to do so. I also do my best to bath any pup that gets dirty from play, weather, accidents, and will typically talk to you about how they do with those upon the meet and greet! I want your pup to be happy and healthy when you pick them up but I also want to respect whatever your needs as the owner are!
