From morning walks and medication to playful updates and meet-and-greets, we ensure your furry family member gets the love and attention they deserve. We also specialize in tailored care for up to two dogs at a time, focusing on maintaining routines and offering a cozy “dog hotel” experience at our home. Although I work full-time Monday through Thursday, I handle morning walks and medications before I head out at 5:30 am. My husband, Timothy, stays at home with our two children and takes care of all other needs throughout the day. We work together to ensure your pup’s routine is always maintained! We live in a cozy, pet-friendly apartment that we like to think of as a “dog hotel.” It’s perfect for keeping pets safe and comfortable during their stay! Our children (ages 4 and 9) are wonderful with respecting pets' spaces, and we always tailor our care to each dog’s unique needs. For safety, Timothy and I are experienced with oral medications and have a background working with anxious (but non-reactive) dogs.

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and many cats. Your pet will be loved and played with by me and my two homeschooled, pet loving boys. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I'm homeschooling my children. I'm available most weekdays and some weekends. I'll be home with your pet most of the time. I have a small fenced yard and well behaved pets are welcome in my home. I have two cats. They can be separated from pets we're boarding if needed.

During each drop-in visit, I’ll carefully follow your specific care instructions while also taking the time to give your pet the attention, comfort, and affection they deserve. My home offers ample space, including a large, securely fenced backyard where pets can safely play and explore. To ensure the best care, please provide your pet’s food and a crate (in case it’s needed), or a litter box and litter for cats. If you prefer, I can provide a litter box for an additional $10 per stay. I can provide a crate (XL) for dog owners if they are not able to. Please note, I do utilize a crate as needed for both your dogs’, my pets’ and family’s safety. If your pet has a favorite “comfort” item like a blanket or toy, feel free to bring it along — familiar scents and items can help them feel right at home. 🙂

About: I am a dog lover and have had a dog in my life in some way for the last 20 years. My roommate recently moved, taking his dog with him. I dont want to commit to my own dog right now but want to assist people in providing a loving home while they are away. I do not have a fenced yard but love taking walks around the neighborhood or jumping in the car to explore a new area. I work from home for most of the week and love taking cuddle breaks throughout the day. I can take multiple walks during the day. I do not have a fenced yard, but my neighborhood is very walkable. Pets are allowed and encouraged to be on furniture. Dogs would have free range to the house while I am at home. A meet and greet is required before accepting a reservation.

About: I have one small 3 legged rescue at this time. Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. I love all animal but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I am retired and have lots of time on my hands and would love to spend some time with your dog when you are not able to. I will treat them as if they were mine9. I have one small dog that does fine with other dogs. My yard is fenced and secure. I believe dogs belong in the house since they are part of the family.

About: Greetings/Bon Jour! Let me welcome your small pooches (25 lbs or less) to my home for pamper and play while you are away. I have a natural love and affinity for dogs and have owned and cared for them from childhood. I understand what it means to have peace of mind knowing your dog is well cared for and having fun while you are traveling. I recently lost my beloved dog and now I am ready to turn that grief into loving and caring for other little fur babies. Why I love dog sitting? They bring immense joy and happiness to my life. About my yard I have a small yard and common area. There are plenty of walking paths along the bay in front of my house and I walk my doggie guests regularly. I do not leave them out doors unattended or unleashed. My experience administering medication No injectable medication. I am retired and home on a daily basis so your baby will get all the attention they need.We can do as much or as little as they require. Please make all requests for pet bookings prior to 9pm at night. All requests after 9pm will be responded to the next morning. Your baby will get up with me get their breakfast, take walks and cuddle and play with me during the day. I live in a beautiful historical walking district by the river that is a dog friendly community. We will walk to cafes and see other pet parents out and about.

They are my absolute favorite. I have 3 cats of my own and I currently live in an apartment so boarding is not an option unfortunately right now due to space. About: My name is Molly! I lived on a farm for 6 years and raised Australian shepherds so I have a lot of experience with dogs. My family adopted my first dog named Shiloh when I was 7 and she was a beagle mix. We lost her when she was 15, but she lived a long, happy, and healthy life. I have a lot of experience with my own dogs as well as dog sitting for others. I am currently a Physician Assistant Student so I will be in class for a few hours per day, but otherwise I am mostly at home. I have a small chihuahua/Pomeranian mix that is 5 years old. Her name is Luna and she is one of the sweetest dogs I have met (maybe slightly biased, but she really is so sweet ;)). She loves to play with dogs of all sizes (she grew up with labs and Australian shepherds). Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and be potty trained. We typically go out for a walk/potty break every 3-4 hours, but can go out more/less if needed. -raised, trained, and bred Australian shepherds -cared for diabetic dog requiring insulin injections -cared for handicapped pug that has seizures and requires several medications throughout the day -have done house sitting / dog sitting with many different breeds: pit Bull, German shepherd puppy, boxer, vizsla mix, plott hound, husky, beagle, Maltese, and more! Dogs are my life and they bring me so much joy. I don’t know what I would do without my furry best friends <3 In school, but home most of the day. Never gone for more than 4 hours at the most. Home all weekend. Potty breaks/walks every 4 hours at most I live in a safe neighborhood. My apartment is very spacious and safe. My dog has beds all over the house and plenty of toys to share. She sleeps with me in my king sized bed or in her bed.
