“Beau had a wonderful time! Teaghan was super kind and attentive. Really easy to get a hold of her when we needed to and we loved getting photo and message updates while we were away. Staying at our home she kept it clean and even was so kind to take the sheets off the bed before she left! Beau loved having her and we can’t wait to have her again soon. 10/10!”

About: I specialize in overnight housesitting for dogs and cats while owners are traveling. Your pets get a calm evening routine, overnight companionship, and a consistent morning schedule. I work in an office during weekday daytime hours, so this service is perfect for pets who are comfortable during the workday or who already have a midday walker. I grew up with rescue cats and dogs, regularly housesat on a small farm as a teenager, fostered through both the Quincy Animal Shelter and Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue as an adult, and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. I am now happy to offer my help to other pet owners in the community through housesitting. I found Rover a little over a year ago when I needed care for my 3 animals, and I look forward to offering the same type of reassuring reliability that I have found! Typical weekday schedule: Morning walk and breakfast Workday away (~8 hours) Evening walk, playtime, dinner Overnight companionship Weekends: Much more time at home Longer walks and play I’m a mature and very conscientious professional who is excited to take care of your pet to your standards because I know what a relief it is to know your pet is in good hands. Further, I carry insurance for petsitting services.
“Jeff did a great job with our cat. He was attentive, friendly, followed directions and gave us timely updates. Our cat has some special needs due to his age and health and it didn't phase Jeff in least -- he has an older cat of his own and he knows how to work with cats. Please don't hesitate to contact him for your cat's needs.”

“Becki went and above and beyond while house sitting and taking care of our beloved tripod. She took such good care of our pup. She followed all instructions and requests and even took her out on additional walks. Becki is the best!”

“Kelsey was truly fantastic. Her communication is top notch and we felt completely comfortable leaving her with our dogs. The dogs clearly loved her, and Kelsey loved on them as if they were her own dogs. Looking forward to having Kelsey stay with our dogs again!”

“Emma cared for our two energetic medium sized dogs in our home. They were very comfortable with her and she sent pictures throughout her stay. Very pleased and would book with Emma again.”

“Cathy did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Ruthie. She stayed over at our house as we knew its where our dog would be more comfortable. Cathy took Ruthie on lots of walks during the day and the one morning Ruthie wouldn't pee on the walk, Cahty sent her son over to walk her at lunch time to make sure her needs were met. She was comfortable having the dog out on our electric fence and sent us just the right amount of updates and pictures. She is dependable, reliable, kind and you can tell is a lover of dogs and all animals. The house was just how we left it and she even put the sheets in the washing machine. We will definitely be using Cathy in the future.”

“Gus, Marian, Ollie and family welcomed Boone into their home for a five-night stay. Ollie was a wonderful playmate and mentor, and Gus and Marian and family gave 3mo. old Boone lots of guidance and consistent reinforcement. This was our first time at a host family, and Rover.com was a wonderful experience...I will definitely use them again!”

“Sophia stayed with our three pups during the blizzard week. Not only were our fur babies well cared for, she did an outstanding, above and beyond job caring for our home. We would absolutely have her come stay again! Highly recommend.”

“Margaret was amazing! She watched my dog over the weekend and he immediately took to her. I immediately trusted Margaret - she is dependable, caring and conscientious. She checked in often- sending photos of her visits and updates on how my dog was doing. I would enthusiastically recommend Margaret to anyone and would trust that she will care about your pet as much as you do while you’re gone.”
