“Emily was very pleasant to interact with. She has a nice inviting home with a big well groomed yard. Our Chi - Mix Mookie loved running around in the yard. Emily treated Mook like one of her own. Allowing him to watch over the yard for her like Chihuahuas love to do. We will definitely reach out to her again when we're traveling in the area.”

“Fantastic experience with Megan. Felt completely comfortable leaving Teddy in her care. Lots of communication and sweet pictures throughout the stay. Teddy was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. 100% recommend!”

“Lyndsey and Evan were amazing! We got multiple photo update throughout the day. They even took Oscar for a 3 mile walk, and their dog Rosie kept him entertained all day long.”

“We were delighted with the care for Hugo. We were nervous about leaving him with a new family in unaccustomed surroundings but he clearly had a nice time and was very relaxed when he came home.”

About: I focus on calm, structured, and reliable dog care — especially for dogs that need consistency and clear routines. What I do differently: • Maintain a structured daily routine (walks, rest, feeding on schedule) • Provide a calm and controlled home environment (no chaos, no overcrowding) • Give regular photo/video updates so you always know how your dog is doing I’m especially a great fit for: • High-energy dogs that need structured walks • Dogs that feel anxious in new environments • Owners who want clear communication and peace of mind Services: • Dog walking (30/60 min) • Drop-in visits • House sitting • Boarding (safe, clean, supervised environment) My goal is simple: 👉 Your dog stays calm, safe, and well cared for 👉 You don’t have to worry while you’re away I am currently working from home. I have plenty of time to take good of your pets except on Wednesday Thursday You can drop them off anytime - in order to maintain a healthy environment, I require all dogs to stay with us to be up-to-date with all their vaccines -Dogs who exhibit “marking “behavior will not be accepted -Dogs with any aggressive issue toward people will not be accepted. Thanks for understanding
About: Dogs have been my whole heart for as long as I can remember. I loved my own dog for 15 and a half wonderful years, caring for him through every stage of life until we had to say goodbye last summer. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for just how much love and attention dogs deserve at every age. Since then, I've channeled that love into caring for the dogs of friends and family, and I'm now so excited to open my door to more pups who need a warm, attentive caretaker. I'm comfortable with caring for guests from puppies to seniors, and I'm used to managing multiple dogs at once while making sure each one feels seen and loved. I care for every guest like they're part of my own family. Whether that means adventure, enrichment, or simply curling up next to me while I work, I try to tailor each stay to what makes that individual dog happiest. Your pup will be in loving hands, and I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos along the way. 🐶 I work from home and would love to have some furry coworkers around. Whoever's with me gets to hang out all day while I'm at my desk, with plenty of breaks for outdoor time and cuddles in between. ⏰ I do ask that you treat drop-off and pick-up times as scheduled appointments. I'm happy to be flexible when I can, but I do plan my day around arrivals and departures, so I appreciate being on time or getting as much notice as possible if plans change. My home is relaxed, dog-friendly, and ready for guests! I have a spacious fenced yard for outdoor time and plenty of indoor space to lounge around in. If your pup ever needs a quiet moment to decompress, I have a separate space for that too. I intentionally keep my guest list small so every dog gets plenty of individual attention. I also know how to read the room to make sure everyone feels comfortable and no one's overwhelmed. Your pup's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. 🌙 For stays longer than five nights, I do require a one-night trial stay beforehand. It gives your pup a chance to get comfortable in my home and helps ensure we're a great fit before a longer vacation.
“Christopher, Ali, their kids, and their pups were great. They kept me updated throughout the day. They shared videos, photos, and updates throughout my puppy’s stay. I was super nervous but they made the experience great.”

“Andrew is great and very responsive. Whiskey had a good time and he’s surely been in great hands. Would definitely ask Andrew to watch Whiskey again! Thank you Andrew for taking care!!”

“Jhonnari & Mike are lovely! Our dog had so much fun with them at daycare. He came home happy and tired from playing with their two dogs! I would highly recommend them as sitters and will absolutely use them again!”

“Duffy had a great time during her first visit with Sean and his dogs. She was exhausted when she arrived home from all the running and playing. We'd recommend Sean to anyone in the area for dog-sitting.”

“Our sweet deaf pup stayed with Annmarie for the day and she couldn't have been safer and happier. This was our first Rover experience, so there was a bit of anxiety dropping our puppy off at a stranger's house. However, Annmarie made us feel welcome through her ongoing communication before, during, and after the visit, and I felt a sense of relief knowing that our special needs dog was well cared for. I highly recommend this host for your doggy day care needs.”

“We had the best experience with Alex - our dog loved him and he was very accommodating, his property is great for dogs. He went above and beyond and we are looking forward to our next visit. Alex was a great guy to meet!”

“Debbie went above and beyond for us. She spent plenty of time acclimating our 4 mo puppy to her home and dogs for his first daycare session. We received pics and updates during his stay. Our dog had a great supervised socialization session with Debbie and other dogs, and had a chance to gain confidence in staying with others. Will definitely use her as a sitter again!”

About: I have cared for all sizes and breeds of dog (ranging from 3lb to 115lbs) and I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies! I’ve owned dogs of my own as well, and I truly love being around and caring for them. I’ve become very comfortable reading dogs’ body language and understanding their individual needs and personalities. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I have plenty of time for dog sitting/visits in your home, dog walking, or boarding at my home or your home (if not too far!) I have a nice big back yard for your dog/dogs to roam. They would have access to the whole house. Can be crated if requested!

“We brought our Falco for daycare with Misael and we were so happy with the service!! Misael was super responsive and Falco seemed very happy to be there. Misael sent pictures and updates regularly. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. We will be using his service again soon for overnight boarding and feel really comfortable with them. Thanks for making us feel like Falco is safe with you!!! Highly recommend!!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
