Having grown up with pets and cared for friends’ and neighbors’ animals, I understand how important it is for pet owners to have peace of mind when they are away. I am a registered EMT currently working for boreal as a Mountain Patroller. I have many hobbies after work and hanging out with awesome animals is one of them that keeps me grounded and looking forward to the future. I take in to account all of your pets needs and wants. I understand each of our four legged friends have different personalities and expectations their humans have for them as well. And I do my best to make that happen for all parties involved.

About: I have over 25 years of experience working with pets, from training playful puppies to providing compassionate care for elderly or disabled animals. No matter their age, needs, or temperament, I’m confident and capable of giving your pet the attention and care they deserve. I work from home from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., which gives me plenty of flexibility in the afternoons and evenings. I’m available for walks and pet sitting after 2 p.m., and I truly enjoy both morning and evening walks—having a furry companion along makes them even better! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get walks when needed, cuddles when wanted, and space when preferred. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs. I care for every animal as if they were my own—providing love, attention, and a healthy, happy environment.

About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.

About: I’ve had a passion for animals my whole life and grew up with a wide variety of pets. I am currently a ski patroller in Lake Tahoe now and I am part of our mountains search and rescue avalanche dog team. I have been a second handler for numerous of our dogs over the years training them in search and rescue and obedience. I also have grown up fostering dogs from older dogs to pregnant mama dogs with puppies. I have done it all and my passion is just being around animals! I work at the mountain as a ski patroller in the winters and in the summer I work as a bartender at a lake front restaurant in Lake Tahoe. I would love to fill that time with a furry friend to go on adventures or be cozy inside with. I have lived in tahoe year round for 5 years now and I would love to share my time here with a companion! I live in Truckee, CA along Donner Lake. My house is right across the street from a fenced in private access to the lake! So if you have a water dog I’m sure they would have a blast running around our fenced in lake access area. I will take care for your pet as if they were my own giving them lots of cuddles and endless belly rubs.

About: I have been a multiple dog owner since I was 8 years old and developed an intense loving passion for all dogs at a young age. I have even fostered puppies from the animal shelter for many years now. Most recently, I have gotten and trained 3 dogs (a golden retriever, black lab and basset hound mix.) I love dogs and love being outside so dog walking is a perfect mix for me. I'm very enthusiastic about animals and am always up for playing with pups. I would be more than happy to run with your dog if you'd like them to get a bit more exercise.

About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

About: I've had a dog since I was born and truly believe they are better than people. I've had a cockapoo, a couple of king charles cavaliers, a cocker spaniel, a doberman, and my current terrier mix I rescued, Paisley. I take care of dogs as if they are my own, and there's nothing I love more than coming home to my own pup. I'll send you photos and update texts while you're gone so you know your pup is doing great! Your dog will enjoy outdoor adventures, hikes, and couch time with plenty of tummy scratches. In all honesty, I'm offering my services just because I love dogs so much, and being an owner myself, know all too well the nervousness that comes with leaving your "child" behind when you go out of town. I promise I will bring that sense of ease to you that I too look for when I have to leave my dog behind. My schedule is fairly flexible, so just let me know what your pup needs, and we can figure out if we are a good match! I will make sure your dog is as comfortable as if they were in their own home. I can give your dog his/her own bedroom, or they can snuggle with me and my pup.

About: With a lifelong love for pets and years of hands-on experience, I provide tailored care that feels just like home. Whether it's long walks in familiar parks, cozy cuddles on the couch, or engaging playtime, your dog will receive the same affectionate attention I've given my own pets throughout my life. I work from home all day so any pet will hang out with me and follow my dog's care schedule. I take my pup with me everywhere unless it's a safety issue (e.g. too hot to park in the grocery parking lot), so dogs are not left alone for long. Lunch time typically includes a trip to Meadow Park or Riverview Sports Park. Dogs are family. I have furniture with performance fabrics that wicks away dirt easily. I have a rear deck with a dog hammock for pups to enjoy the sun, or they can move into the treed area on my property. A dog run can be set up as well so pups can have plenty of outdoor time. In the summers, we do doggy play dates at the Tahoe Donner ski hill, which is a short 5 minute walk from my house. I frequent the Legacy Trail and Donner Lake.

About: I’ve been an owner and caretaker of dogs for my entire life. I’m active, thoughtful and responsible in everything I do. Work with me and you’ll never worry about the quality of your dogs care again. My full time job is an entrepreneurial one. As far as work goes I am flexible and able to come and go as I please. I won’t take offers if I’m not able to be present with your pet. I’ve worked with a variety of dogs. Those that are calm, aggressive, nervous etc. Throughout my years of care i’ve adopted different strategies for different dogs and I’ve proven desirable outcomes. I won’t do anything myself or the owner would not be comfortable with and I follow instructions and preferences diligently. If I assume care in your home I always respect the dog and space as if it was my own. A high standard at that.

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years and when people bring their dog they can feel at ease knowing their dog will receive the best loving care possible.I have always been a dog owner and have cared for multiple breed types.Dogs feel safe at my house. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I am available full-time Friday Saturday and Sunday and during the week I can walk your dog.If you want to come up to the mountains and go skiing I am available to watch your dog while you are out on the mountain.If you have more that one pet I can accommodate them. I have a 4 bedroom house and currently I have a small dog named Pepper that enjoys other dogs company. I don't have a fenced-in yard but if you board your dog with me I am very responsible and your dog will stay on the leash when I take the dog for a walk. My house backs up to the power lines and of the woods. There is plenty of places to walk the dog without having to get in a car.When your dog is in my care it's all about your dog. I am person that dogs are drawn to and they love me and they know I'm a dog person.
