“We left our beloved Poodle and Airedale plus another Poodle we were babysitting while we were at a destination wedding in Tahoe. This was a difficult decision for us as our dogs have never ever been left with someone else. We couldn't have been more happy. Beautiful home, Beautiful yard and loving care. My dogs, while confused, were instantly at ease. Kathy sent pictures and updates though out the dogs stay. It was easy on us and easy on the dogs. I would recommend Kathy in a second and if I have the chance to go to tahoe again, I would use her again in a second. He loves being outdoors and Nayla took the dogs on off-leash walks twice a day, as well as made sure our pup was comfortable and ‘at home’ in her home. It was our first time leaving him with someone and Nayla very kindly sent lots of photos and videos. It was clear our pup was LOVING his time playing with Nayla, Zeina, and their many other dog friends too. Nayla was also super helpful and flexible in coordinating drop off and pickup for times that would work with our flights. Overall it was such a great experience and we can’t recommend Nayla enough!!”

Our current daily routine typically goes as follows - 7:30am wake up, on-leash bathroom time, breakfast, post breakfast snooze, 10am adventure, noon treats and chill, 3pm bathroom break, 7:30pm dinner, after dinner chill, bathroom break, 9:30 bed time! Most pups that stay with us fit very well into that routine. I am very hands-on and attentive to my fuzzy friends. My dogs are never out of my sight. They have full range of the house (couch, bed, chairs, laps!).

Usually my dog sitting days include a short walk (15-20minutes) in the early morning and a longer one mid-day to afternoon (45minutes - 1.5 hours) with another shorter evening walk. Weather and heat are always taken into consideration when planning daily walks. I'm also happy to follow the schedule and walk length that your dog is accustomed to. I believe personalized (or dog-alized) care is important. I'd love to be in communication with you prior to service in order to talk about dog needs and routines. I'm also always available for communication while with your dog and will send daily photos!

About: I love my dogs , and will love yours just the same! My home is small and cozy, with near access of hundreds of acres of woods with amazing hiking trails! A number of dog friendly beaches are close by for summer swimming as well. I prefer pups that are ok off leash for romps in the woods, as I take my dogs there for exercise daily. About my yard I do not have a fenced in yard. My home is located in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, and backs up to hundreds of acres of forest. That is where we do all of our adventuring. I am self-employed, and my work days typically start at 3. That gives ample time for morning adventures! Our current daily routine typically goes as follows - 7:30am wake up, on-leash bathroom time, breakfast, post breakfast snooze, 10am adventure, noon treats and chill, 3pm bathroom break, 7:30pm dinner, after dinner chill, bathroom break, 9:30 bed time! Most pups that stay with us fit very well into that routine. I am very hands-on and attentive to my fuzzy friends. My dogs are never out of my sight. They have full range of the house (couch, bed, chairs, laps!).

This was my first time leaving Rocky due to a last minute family emergency and it was a great success :) we came by for a meet and greet prior to drop off and it felt great to be so confident Rocky would be in great hands.
