About: I have always been surrounded by pets and animals - I am currently hosting two cats on my lap as I type! - and absolutely love them. My first job as a kid was dog sitting and dog walking for a giant, senior golden retriever and a tiny, spunky papillion. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and stages (including newborn kittens and very senior, diaper-wearing dogs), plus rats, rabbits, birds, fish, shrimp, snails, and bearded dragons. I am warm, loving, flexible, have a great sense of humor, and have my fair share of cleaning up pet "whoopsies" - all crucial traits for your next pet sitter! I work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, so can easily fit your pets' schedule into my daily work - including coming over multiple times a day or even spending my working day (or the entire day!) at your home hanging out with your pets for added companionship and care. I am also available for periodic overnight pet sitting at your home! I am highly respectful of your home and the routines you have created there, which are critically important to keep your pets' stress levels low and happiness levels high (and yours, too!). I will follow any standards you have set, will keep the space organized and tidy, and will respect your privacy to the highest degree. Do you not let your dog on the couch? I won't either. Does your cat demand the blue bowl for his food? I'll use it and shun any others. Do you need your door unlocked at a certain time for a delivery? I'll make sure it's done. I am there to meet your pets' needs and your own needs, so let me know how I can help!

About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I now have a 2 year old Chocolate Lab, who I've trained myself. I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet. I’m available on most weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and I understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal schedule. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will always follow your care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, and playtime. I have unfenced backyard although I have a long lead in the backyard so pets can comfortable be safe outside if wanted. I also have a crate if needed to be crated. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

About: I’ve had dogs around my whole life! I grew up with two black labs and a terrier mix. I now have my own dog, a golden doodle named Oakley. He is 2 and he is my whole world. I will care for all your pets as well as I care for mine because I know they are our world! I currently work a 8-5 job as a speech therapist with kids, but would be a happy to help after work with any requests you may have and weekends! I will care for your pets AND your home as I would hope someone would care for mine. I have used Rovers of my own for my Oakley and am comfortable with any service you are requesting. Been around all kinds of pets since I was a kid, and having the chance to engage with YOUR pets now is a great opportunity Im ready to take. I work from home, so I’m home all the time to watch after your fur baby. Your dog will get daily walks, treats, and affection. I have a fenced in yard, 3 lovely fur babies, and I can guarantee you almost every single toy in pet smart, I own😂 Your pet will be in a smoke and drink free home, we do have birds but they are caged together in their room, and do not get let out. My house, will now be your pet’s new temporary house until whenever you decide to come back! Getting to spend time with your pet, and keep mine company, is a delightful idea.

She kept us updated all weekend and sent us pictures and videos of our dog. He looked so happy in all of them. Rizzo had so much fun a lot Sara's, he was exhausted when we brought him home!
